However, I have been routinely disappointed by the negative, patronizing attitude that David has with customers. Today I walked in and as usual, there was nobody up front and no way to summon someone from the back. I've asked before whether there is a bell, and there is a bell - but they've decided to keep the bell behind the counter where customers can't use it. I waited 5 minutes before David happened to notice that I was standing there. This happens every time I've visited before (3-4 times). He said "how can I help you?" and I replied "I have 4 shirts to pick up." He looked at me like I was a moron and had just said something rude to him. "Do you want to help me out with your name or phone number?" was his taunting reply. Why didn't he just ask for my name? Customer service seems to be the absolute last priority here. Every time I come in I am poorly treated with a demeaning, negative, impatient attitude. Everything I say is seen as an insult or an inconvenience. I feel "in the way." And, have fun getting someone to pay attention to you while you wait after entering the business.

My sweaters look much cleaner, and they took care of my sweaters in detail. I think they defuzzed my sweaters somewhat (I'm not 100% sure, but my clothes did look prettier when I pick them up). This was an incredible decision. A few things to point out that I love is of course the convenience - but their pricing structure is another aspect. Basically I purchased these pre-paid credits which I can then put toward any service and this gets me additional discounts. Their base prince before this discount is great and competitive however it is even more exceptional with it. If you get the platinum tier you'd also get a welcome box with everything you need to get started. They also allow multiple addresses (work or home) to get pickup and delivery'. As far as their work I've used their in-person services now for almost two years and this is new to me but the level of convenience is incredible. Price is superb and they've never missed a promise they gave me. Highly recommend them.

Ladera Cleaners is expensive, has slow turnaround times, and poor customer service. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of accountability. When I pointed out the issue, the staff was dismissive and refused to take any responsibility for the damage. Instead of offering a solution or even a sincere apology, they directed the blame at me, saying that the damage occurred after pressing and must have been my fault. (For what it's worth, I have since had the designer look at the dress, and they clearly determined that the "type of fraying observed is consistent with fiber stress or agitation affecting the integrity of the fabric during the cleaning process"). A dry cleaner is trusted to handle items with care, and this business failed on both the technical and customer service fronts. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend taking your clothes elsewhere if you value your wardrobe.

The repair was not simple; because the lining was shredding and impossible to zip, they had to deconstruct part of the jacket. Ladera Cleaners did a great job letting me know ahead of time what I could expect, both in terms of price, and that the repair would unavoidably be somewhat visible. I consented. I got it back this week and I'm so impressed with the result. They found a sympathetically striped fabric and lined up the pattern. It shows creativity and attention to detail. As they projected, the mend is visible, but if anything, it adds to the beauty and unique style of the garment. It's very true to the artistic intent of the original designer. Vogue Cleaners does a great job and they keep their word. I came to Luke with several blazer jackets that had been either ruined or improperly cleaned by Green and Fresh Cleaners on Rengstorff. There were two blazers where Green and Fresh put NEW stains on my jackets, and you can see they were clearly put there with their ironing press, because the press marks are in the exact same place on both jackets. Those jackets sadly were ruined, but there was a cream white blazer that looked grey and dingey after it was cleaned by Green and Fresh, and Luke told me he might be able to fix it. I had one other grey double breasted blazer that had stains that were NOT removed after Green and Fresh "cleaned" it, and Luke also said he'd work on removing those stains. For the cream white one, he told me if he couldn't fix it, he'd waive the charge. A week later I came to pick up my two blazers and lo and behold, the old stains on the grey double breasted blazer were gone! Imagine that, bringing your blazer to be dry cleaned and the stains actually getting removed. Vogue Cleaners successfully got the job done and removed the stains, when Green and Fresh could not. For the cream white blazer, there was still a subtle greyish tint to it, but honestly Luke made it so much better that it's at least wearable again. Because he wasn't able to get it back to its original state, he kept his word and waived the charge. I will be coming back to this shop because they take their work seriously and treat their customers fairly. I've been going to the same dry cleaners Green and Fresh Cleaners on Rengstorff for years and know the family there. As a result even though I frequently noticed subpar results, (e.g. I pay for the dry cleaning but all the original the stains on my items are still there), I just assumed the they had done their best but the stain was "too tough" to remove. I let it go on too long. I even started to question, what's the point of dry cleaning when it either makes the stains worse or my clothes look the same before and after cleaning. The answer is, Green and Fresh don't do the cleaning themselves and don't care if they damage your items. When I talked to the owner's son and asked him how often they replace or check their solvent, he told me he didn't know because he doesn't do the cleaning and brushed me off, even after their dirty solvent had turned my cream white blazer into a greyish white blazer. When I questioned why my blazers looked worse and were damaged from the cleaning process, he gaslighted me and acted as if they had nothing to do with it, like "not my problem." No apology, no offer to waive the cleaning fee or compensate me for the damaged items. It wasn't until I went home, angry and shocked at how I was treated, and then finally came to my senses and went back and demanded the refund because they had not only ruined two jackets but also improperly cleaned the other two, that he gave me the full refund. It was so disappointing, how the entire situation was handled. Fifteen years of trust and repeated business from me-- broken in 15 minutes. Luke, on the other hand, listened to my concerns, empathized with the situation, offered solutions, and knew exactly what I was talking about when I talked to him about the solvent, because he understands the dry cleaning process and manages the machines himself. That's what you need when you go to a dry cleaner. Knowledge, honesty, and a dedication to great customer service. Highly recommend Vogue Cleaners, and especially Luke.

If I dropped a piece of clothing, I didn't feel gross about picking it up off the floor. The washers come in different sizes and prices, so I was able to do fewer loads.
