First the good: The hotel itself is centrally located with Hwy 215 close by and plenty of places near for any type of food you could desire from mexican to american restaurants and all else in between. The UCR Village shopping center is right across the street and in walking distance. The hotel has free parking but only one disabled parking space. The room was ADA and was clean with a walk in shower and other amenities. The room was easy to maneuver around in if in a wheelchair. Now the bad: Wish I had gotten the name of the front desk receptionist. She was extremely rude which was unwelcome after a long drive through heavy traffic that day. She was unfriendly and unwelcoming not what you'd expect from a person who supposed to be friendly, courteous and welcoming to hotel guest. On check out, the young man didn't ask how was our stay, was the room satisfactory,again not good customer service. The other thing that bothered me was the$100.00 deposit that out of your banking account for damage you may do to the room is insane to me.. Other hotels take your number but do not change unless you order incidentals that are charged to your room. Not Dynasty. Iits particularly crazy as Dynasty grabs your room fees in advance so the room is already paid. read more

Made a reservation by calling Dynasty Suites Hotel, spoke with a person and made a reservation for a room with a jacuzzi in the room. I specified a jacuzzi must be in the room. I was assurred a room with a jacuzzi was reserved. Received confirmation No. After payment was made. Went to Hotel on date reservation was scheduled and was told a jacuzzi was not included with the room. I refused to take room due to no jacuzzi which I made clear that a jacuzzi was mandatory. The clerk was extremely rude, told me I did a online reservation and with a third party. I did not make a online reservation and what I reserved was not given. I wanted a refund since they did not have a jacuzzi and was going to call security on us and she refused to help with the situation refusing to hear me. This is a case of fraud and have made a claim. It seems the clerk would be concerned with what took place but she wasnt concerned. Its a scam and I will never go back to that Hotel. They were paid for a room I did not request or take and she could care less. Clerk was very rude and treated us badly. Absolutely disgusting do not go to this place they rented a "Honeymoon Suite" that was not at all honeymoon worthy! I gave them an opportunity to fix the situation the following morning when I showed them the photos and video. But to them I should have completely ruined my entire night, (instead of trying to make the best of it) and complained immediately. At midnight we took to the jacuzzi tub, I was sitting in it when I felt something land on my head, I look up and the ceiling is dripping water, not condensation but actual water and and the paint is dangling from the ceiling. Looks as though it could give way at any moment. I was so embarrassed but we got out and chose to enjoy the rest of the amenities the room had to offer. When I showed the attendant in the morning he said the room should not have been rented in that condition and that he would give my complaint to the manager. And when I get the call back it's a woman who was completely unprofessional, and proceeded to say that they could blame me for the damages because I didn't complain about it. (First of all that kind of damage doesn't happen over night and I find it hard to believe that they had no knowledge of it. They were very aware of what I was talking about when I started explaining it.) So because I stayed all night and didn't completely interrupt my mood, and ruin my entire night (that I had already spent so much time and effort planning so that I could show my wonderful man how much I appreciate him), by complaining they are not going to do anything. I mentioned that it's a health and safety hazard and that I gave them an opportunity to make this right and they didn't so I will be filing the complaint/report, so others are not going through what I went through. She then told me that I was wrong in doing that just because they won't give me back my money! No they are wrong for allowing a room in that condition to be rented!!! read more

READ THIS!!!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! THEY ARE CROOKS!!!! So i had to stay in a hotel due to my house having mold (pain pain pain) so i booked a room here and it was ok, the staff is obviously family run. The only room left was the "honeymoon suite" with a heart shaped Jacuzzi tub. Well the rooms look awesome and the beds are super comfy!!!!! They do have that going for them, they also give you a bottle of water in your fridge in your room. BUT they are all about making money here. They really dont care about your well being. I have a service animal (dog) and when i checked in there's a big print out behind the bullet proof glass.....no dogs allowed except service animals. Well i have a service dog and checked in, showed them my dogs credentials and went about my stay like everything is fine. Everything went very well except I found PORN in the DVD player in my room. My 9 year old daughter went to turn on the TV and PORN WAS PLAYING!!!!! I WAS MORTIFIED!!!!!!!! So the last day of my checkout i called the front desk at 11:35 am (checkout at noon) asking if i could stay another night because my house was still under construction (i had just got a call at 11:30 am from my landlord stating i needed to be out 5 more days). The person on the phone told me no, they were booked. OK i understand that, but if i am living here temporarily and wanted a few more nights wouldn't you think they would accommodate their tenants that were currently staying??? NOPE!!!!!! So i told her OK i will be checking out then, i did not have too much stuff, just a duffel bag and a few other items like pillows etc. Well 11:55 am i get a knock on the door asking if i am checking out. UM YES i just talked to the front desk and told them that. I was placing all my stuff outside the door and was out of the room by 12:03. Now, a couple days later, i go look at my bank account and i see a random $100 charge from them. So i called Dynasty Suites up and asked them what the heck this charge is, so i gave her my info and she told me they charged me for my dog that wasn't allowed (eh um, its a SERVICE DOG) and my late check out..... 12:03 REALLY???????? and i get charged $100 for being 3 minutes late????????????? Side note: the bathroom door didnt shut, it hit on the toilet so you had to climb over the toilet to shut the door. The shower didnt work at first, the handles were broken off and water was spraying out of the handles. I should have known from that moment......not to stay here! I'm sorry to say but this has been the worst experience I have ever had with somebody that supposed to be in management position she was being very nasty and rude with me I haven't even been checked in for less than an hour I went to go get some lunch turn around and I called her and ask her if she could move me into a smoking room. She later told me that she would have to charge me a complete new charge for a smoking room. Then I proceeded to talk with her she got nasty with me and she told me that if I didn't like it and her name is Yvette and she told me make sure you spell my name correct when you write a review. Dynasty inn has contacted me saying that I was charged for smoking in the room even though I did not. I was charged $100 upon checking in before I even saw the room. They said it smelled like cigarettes. Of course it does. It's a seedy ass place where people are smoking all kinds of shit for the last however many years. The person at the front desk who I spoke with said that because I didn't smell it or complain about it, I got charged. So, learn from my lesson. If your room smells like smoke complain about it before you stay there. read more

Was pretty basic. The extra toiletries provided was nice but nothing fancy. It wasn't dirty but never felt like it was ok to walk barefooted. And no it doesn't have wood floors. Vinyl and cheap. This should be really two reviews: the staff and service, and the venue. The latter first. The rooms are OK, the amenities exist as advertised, although the pool was in fact closed when I visited in February. A step above Motel 6, a step below a well run chain hotel. Call it Holiday Inn quality. The continental breakfast was bland. The night clerk refused to honor a _prepaid_ reservation (!) and required me to put down a personal credit card, which was charged even though they said it wasn't. (My bank finally reversed the charges.) The staff was studiously discourteous not only to me but other travelers as I watched. The words, "Please" "Thank you" "You're welcome" and "We appreciate your business." are notably missing from their vocabularies, as is any knowledge of the surrounding area. I suppose if you don't need any help from the staff during your stay, it's OK. read more

Dynasty Suites Hotel shame on you! We booked a king bed for $10 more per night than a queen bed and was given a queen bed. When we questioned them they said that's how all their beds are and would not refund the $10 difference per night in a queen bed. As far as ripping people off I do honesty believe they have a "SMOKE ROOM" in which they put people in and then turn around and keep their $100 deposit for smoke smell. When we checked in we were given 112 "smoke room", it smelled like smoke! Because of the $100 deposit we immediately told them and they moved us to another room and said they did not know 112 smells like smoke. From the other reviewers seems like they got screwed with the "SMOKE ROOM".... so beware! read more

I don't know why this place got such low rating. It's actually very clean and specious . I stayed out here with my girls on a last minute trip into town . They include tons of toiletries like razor,tooth brush, tooth paste, shower shoes and such for free . The wooden floor looks cleaned and well Kept and the beds are clean and comfortable . This place was decent enough. Great breakfast considering it has a small lobby, big room, offer several toiletries, and free WiFi. It is by several eating places within walking distance. It is by UCR so if you want the visit the campus, this would be the place to stay. This hotel does give off a vibe that "I would take a nice hooker here" which is interesting. The down side to this place would have to be the plumbing. Toilet flushed fantastic but both the bath and sink took a while to drain. Cheap affordable hotel! Hotel rooms are clean and pretty sizable for the price. Love this hotel when I'm in riverside and it's located right next to a shopping center and a lot of places to eat and even a movie theater. Overall I give this hotel an 8/10 . The overall hotel wasn't horrible. Room was clean. Smelled nice. The only issue I had was how there's. 100 dollar deposit that they don't mention on their website or when you call them. So you think the rate is only 79 dollars or whatever but it's really 179 due to that deposit that yes they give back to you but I had some issues with my bank and was not prepared for that. They also like to start a withdrawal of the money that shows up on your account as a deduction but in reality it hasn't gone all the way yet. So I was there for 12 days and after the first 3 it just went away and can make things difficult trying to figure out things financially. I even heard someone call about a room and they never mentioned the 100 dollar deposit I feel like that was shady and not okay. read more

This is one of the cutest little motels I've ever stayed it. The room was clean, cute, and well stocked (toothpaste? mouthwash? razor? SHOE SHINE CLOTH??). The staff was incredibly friendly. I checked in at 1am, and the desk clerk greeted me like this was no big deal, and handed me a freshly baked cookie. The pool is a joke (but who cares, it was November). The continental breakfast was nice as well; no eggs, but they had a waffle maker! I was very satisfied with the price as well. Would definitely recommend this place! read more

I was very mad about a recent booking with the receptionist. I booked a hotel room from Expedia in the beginning of summer for September 23 after I found out of my son's move in date for college. I called the hotel 3 weeks in advance to book a room for September 22. The receptionist on the phone said that there would be plenty of space and that the change would be no problem. He said he changed it right away. I called in 2 days before we would arrive at the hotel to confirm our registration and the lady who was helping me with my call had no record of my booking and Saturday was completely full. I just can't believe that they would give me this information last minute and I was the one who had to call! read more

Horrible horrible service. My condo is undergoing mold remediation so my fiance and I had to rent a hotel for a couple of days during the contruction. We purchased 2 nights online through price line because priceline showing they were pet friendly as we arrived we found out they weren't pet friendly and that to get a refund a manager (AJ) had to be on duty. It's been 4 days of frivolous attempts to contact him and or have him return my calls. There actions forced my pregnant fiance and dog to stay in a possibly dangerous environment becuase we are on a limited budget and they refused to refund me for 2 nights I did not use. read more

I've never left a bad review, but I feel the need to do so here. I have a registered support dog and called to verify if they would accept her. I was told yes and so I booked. When I arrived on Sat, I presented the counter girl with my dogs ID card. I was denied my room because Yvette said my dog was 'Just a Pet.' She began to belittle me in front of other guests and said that I had deceived her with the information I provided upon booking. Never have I been treated this way due to my special needs. Appalling. Dynasty Suites is like an oasis in between the sketchy Grand Marc and the even sketchier Cask & Cleaver. When I was at UCR as a student, I never really thought about this motel as anything really special. I came back to campus to take care of some business and stayed here for a couple of days. First of all, everything the other two reviews said is completely accurate (John S. & Lisa L.). Dynasty Suites is very highly recommended on other travel websites and it offers a lot of accommodations at a very low price. First of all, when I checked in, the front desk gave me two cookies. So what if they were oatmeal raisin, they were delicious and a nice thought. They also have a complimentary breakfast but the lobby is small so don't expect a lot of food. Once again, it's the thought that counts. Secondly, room amenities: Ceiling fan, heater/air conditioner, TV, DVD player, sofa (with a pull out bed), huge desk, "executive-style" chair, free wifi, ironing board/iron, mini fridge (with a bottle of complimentary water inside), microwave, tempur-pedic bed!!!, and a basket of toiletries. All of that for under $100 a night? No wonder I hardly left my room when I was here! I really loved the desk though, it made me feel professional and productive...even when I was just surfing mindlessly online. The rooms are a bit old but they are still very clean. They are definitely not lazy when it comes to housekeeping. Also the pool is really, really small...maybe fun for little kids to splash around in, adults wouldn't find much use for it. The only thing that really prevented me from giving it that extra star is that I've found a lot of bugs in my room. I mean, I love nature but when it gets into my territory, it's game on. I've killed at least four bugs in two days (so I would wear slippers instead of going barefoot to be honest), and there was a cricket in my room for a night but it escaped (or is dead somewhere in my room from the cold). I understand that nature is going to do it's own thing but I don't leave my door open at all except for when I'm leaving my room or coming back...and yet these bugs keep finding a way in. I'd never had problems with bugs with campus housing even though there are tons of crazy bugs in Riverside. I would really say the bugs only bump it down half a star really but I rounded down because I get paranoid about creepy-crawlers in my room when I'm asleep. The staff is great, I realized the day after I checked in that my room door didn't close fully (I could still push it open from the outside). The staff was incredibly nice and quick in getting me another room. The second room's shower pressure wasn't as great as the first one's, and the hot water wasn't as hot but well, at least it was more secure. They seemed to have gotten it fixed quickly though because the next day it had already been rented out again. The bottom line is though that you're getting more than you're paying for, especially with the tempur-pedic bed. If you're just going to be here for a couple of nights, the bed is just SO worth it. If you're staying longer then that you might start nitpicking on very small issues. You do actually feel safe though, which is more than I can say for some of the other motels in the area. Since there's only one entrance in and out and the lot is small, I came back at 3am once from a friend's place and I felt very safe and secure (which wasn't always the case with campus housing). Worst customer service that I have ever experienced. We had a family emergency and I called at 11pm in a panic trying to find a room. They said they had one room left but would not take my card to hold the room and asked if our family member could call with their card number. I made sure they understood this was an emergency and they assured me that they would hold the room for 15min until our family member called. Our stressed out family member called right away and the hotel staff said "Sorry, but we could not save the room." I called back to find out what had happened and they hung up on me. This place is horrible. With one week advance reservation and payment, they rent out my room at 1 AM and manager is trying to come in and " evict" me as she put it. When they charged me they forgot to put me into the system. She said. The main manager name Art still has not called me back after 3 requests. They did not offer any discount. Just a compulsory " I am sorry". The sheets were dirty, the room had a strong pine smell masking other odors. It was a very loud motel, we could hear people outside our door. The problem was it was at 3 AM. The frig was also had a humming noise too loud to sleep through, so we unplugged it. The price was up since we were attending an event at UC Riverside. The best part was we got to make waffles in the morning, but I did hear that they ran out of the batter by 7AM. read more

Stayed the night earlier this in the week on business. Went looking in the area w/o a reservation, and found Dynasty suites. It was close enough to downtown to meet my needs and it was in a relatively quiet area considering its vicinity to UCR and the entertainment area where the students hang out. The room was surprisingly very clean and very comfortable. The price was about less than what I expected and would definitely stay here again without thinking twice about it. read more

I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews. Unfortunately I was left with no choice upon attempting to book this hotel/motel. The check in employee (who I failed to get a name) was very rude, judgemental, and prohibited my fiance and I from waiting on the property. I had called ahead on the day of arrival and I was told I would be able to check in at 9 am for an extra fee. Our uber dropped us off at about 8:45 am. We proceeded to The check in window were we were ignored by the check in employee. When I was finally able to get his attention, the employee explained that the room was not ready and we would have to wait until 9 am to check in. This was not a problem, however, when asked if we could sit in the lobby and wait he denied us the right. We then asked if we would be able to sit outside on the bench outside the office and again the employee refused to let us sit any where near the property. As a matter of fact he stated that we were not allowed to wait on or near the property and to return at 9 am. I assume this had something to do with the fact that my fiance and I are a same sex couple. We left the property as asked. I called at 9 am and the same employee informed me that the rooms had been booked and therefore we would not be able to check in. I mentioned I had just checked online and the online website stated they had rooms available. He then panicked and attempted to give me a b.s. story about how the rooms were not vacant at the moment but would be after 3 pm. He stated that "the room we were promised at 9 am had actually been booked by someone who ended up showing last minute" this was of course after I threatened to report them to the better business bureau. This is not a "hotel" of my choice as per say but I figured their early check in was convenient. I will never again bring my business or recommended this place to anyone. The hotel staff is very courteous, friendly, and helpful. The rooms have everything you need plus some. However, it is an older hotel, so the carpets feel a little funny. While Staying at Dynasty Suites Hotel for 6 days in Riverside, we had personal items stolen from our room when we were gone. We posted the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door the entire time we were there. I told them I didn't need clean sheets every day, etc. My husband is diabetic, has daily insulin injections, and is on oxygen 24/7. We did not want any 'accidents' with needles, or medicine to occur so we did not want maid service. The personal items taken were jewelry (mostly costume) but included a 10 kt. gold and silver ring which coordinated with gold and silver cuff bracelet and earrings. Various other items were also taken. They were located inside a zippered case, in suede cloth bags and/or white jewelry boxes. This case was inside a dresser drawer with other personal clothing items. If it were not for the theft, the room, the amenities and location would have been perfect for us. Please be aware that someone with access to the rooms has a penchant for taking things that do not belong to them. Even though I filed a police report, there is really nothing that can be done. So I'm out the jewelry and they're out future guests. As one of 7 siblings who were all there with their families, none of us nor any friends will be using this facility; and we will spread the word throughout several states as only 2 live in Riverside. read more
