Came in today to drop of a Dyson air purifier to be diagnosed to estimate cost of repairs. The two gentlemen that came to help me weren't rude by any means but they also had no idea how to handle an American Express extended warranty claim. Literally, all they need to do is estimate repair after diagnosing it. Fill out a form, either move forward with the repair or I'd come and pick it up. I'd pay for the diagnosis fee. Simple. The conversations weren't simple and I felt like I was asked many questions that shouldn't be asked. They said they've never ever dealt with a warranty claim through American Express. They told me it would be 2-3 weeks before they could get to my machine. That's fine. No problem. The second guy even asked how quickly it needs to be handled and he might be able to take care of mine before doing anyone else's, since it's only a diagnosis. He was very nice about it. I asked that they complete the form and email it to me and the First Gentleman raised his voice and said "WE DON'T EMAIL". Literally, chill! Who responds like that? But whatever the issues here are, it became clear that this wasn't going to be a good fit and I don't have time or patience to go through their complicated process. It's 2026, you can email me the darn form. Then I was told their scanner isn't working? I'd rather spend $1,200 for a brand new Dyson than deal with anyone at this location. They had zero clue. Both were nice. Not rude. And likely do a very good job with repairs. But those conversations left me hesitant that they could perform the needed tasks and I felt it would require too much work than what it's worth to me. I decided based off our interactions that I didn't have the energy to work with this location and really don't plan to. Maybe in the future but I'd rather buy a brand new one and not deal with this right now. But that's a one star review. Things should have gone differently. Customers do not want to do mental gymnastics with basic things. So I left. read more

Very helpful. The tech we dealt with was extremely helpful. The sweeper head on my Dyson died. He did a total inspection on the vacuum and pointed out that the motor was getting that old. It would cost as much as a new one to repair the old one. So, we saved time and money on that read more

Took out my trusted Dyson, V.6 vacuum cleaner to tidy up and it failed to turn on. Tried charging it, but it was clear the battery was dead. I looked at the owners manual, and it said call the Dyson help line. Left on hold for about 20 minutes. Finally spoke to someone who repeatedly had difficulty understanding my plain, unambiguous responses in concise english. After walking me through a mindless series of "troubleshooting" exercises (I understand they have to follow a script) such as jiggling the charging cord, they finally offered to sell me a new battery. The cost would be $130 plus a large shipping fee, and it would come in about 10 days, with instructions on how to disassemble the unit and insert the new battery. I declined his offer. 20 minutes later, I arrive at the Dyson Service Center located at 4848 S Highland Dr. Salt Lake City, UT. After a brief wait a technician came out from the back to greet me and ask about the problem. From my description he was immediately able to diagnose the issue. A replacement battery would be $130, no shipping fees and fully installed it in under five minutes. The technician was courteous, fast and professional. If you have a Dyson vacuum cleaner that needs to be serviced, I strongly recommend this business and give them my highest rating. read more

What can I say, this IS NOT the Dyson we used to know and love. Their products have slowly gone downhill and their customer service is on par with the worst of them now. I have had 2 humidifiers break on me in less than three years. The first one they replaced (pre-Covid) but this latest one - it's been at this service center for a month now. I've received zero updates on the process. I have no idea what's wrong with it, nor how much it's going to cost to replace. When I called corporate, they couldn't help and said I had to call the store. When I called the store, they couldn't give me any updates. I've literally had $30 fans from Target last me longer. I'm far from the only one who thinks their service has gone down hill. A quick google will reveal serval Reddit feeds about my same issues. Need a more reputable source, check Trustpilot - they have 1.3 stars out of over 3,000 reviews. I highly recommend Shark. Their products last much longer and their customer service is light years ahead of Dyson. As a family who has purchased an airwrap, a vacuum, a supersonic blow dryer, and more from Dyson. My Dyson needed repair but I had procrastinated and didn't want to call into the phone support line. A friend of mine recommended this service center so I went in today and was impressed by: 1) They are very punctual. They opened right on time and took me right in. 2) the area is clean and inviting 3) he fixed my vacuum right then and there. 4) he wouldn't let me pay him anything -- he said it was all under warranty. I couldn't believe it was such a positive experience. I expected to have to drop it off and return at a later date, and to need to pay exorbitant repair charges. I am totally impressed with the service that I received from the Dyson Service in Holliday Utah. I was treated well. Even though the problem was my fault ( I broke a piece off the unit by forcing it much harder than I needed to) when I explained the problem to the owner he said worst case scenario would be $30 to replace the bin portion of the vacuum. I thought that was extremely reasonable. He took it in the back for a few minutes to check it out and then came and told me that the bin was fine. There was another broken piece and the cost to replace that was about $10.00. He didn't attempt to upsell me anything. The whole process for my repair took less than 10 minutes. Wow! This is the kind of service we wish we could get everywhere. I entered the demo area and only a minute later Kai came out of the workshop area to help me. After explaining what was wrong with my Dyson (upright multi-floor 2, UP19), Kai took it into the shop, came out just minutes later, confirmed it was out of warranty, explained what was needed and the cost, and asked if I wanted to have it repaired. On my approval he went back into the shop and returned a few minutes later with the problem fixed. I think I was only in the service center for about 10 minutes altogether. I am impressed with Dyson engineering, and if all service centers function as Kai did today, Dyson has customer service figured out as well. The technician was very helpful, knowledgeable and personable. He gave us an awesome assessment of our dyson animal vacuum instead of trying to sell us a new machine. Our machine is still in good shape after ten years of use. This is by far the best investment we've ever made! I took my purple Dyson DC25 Animal in because I could not vacuum one room in my home without the post filter (the one in the ball) popping out. I walked into an empty store, and someone came out of the "employee's only" door right away. He asked what the problem was, asked me to fill out my information, and before I finished he brought my vacuum back fixed! I came home and vacuumed 5 to 6 rooms without any problems! Nice employee. Quick and free service, and he didn't try to up sell anything to me. I thought that I would need to replace the filter, but he said that there was no need to replace it. They even have pens in a container that have been pre-sanitized and another one that have been used, among other things . I appreciate that they are being careful during COVID-19. read more

This is a review that I never really thought I would write, but after a quick visit to have my vac fixed, I thought a quick write up was in order. First off, the staff here was fabulous. They greeted me with a smile and assured they would be right with me, which they were. The tech that worked on my vac tried several different fixes in the front, then decided he needed to take it back in the back. After some time, he came back out and invited me back to show me the problem (Christmas tree needles and dog fur). He gave me a couple recommendations and let me go, free of charge. The show room is clean and has the largest collection of Dyson vacs that I have ever seen. It was really cool to see all the products Dyson offers. I am working on the wife for one of theirs commercial hand dryers ;). All and all, a great experience. read more

I wasn't able to receive any suction out of my Dyson vacuum despite trying to clean out the filters. I brought it into this service center and the associate who helped me said he would charge me $25 if the problem was simply a clog. I agreed. He detached the main body to get the serial number and immediately saw that there was dog hair stuck in a couple of the tubes and showed me how to clean it out myself. He also showed me a couple extra spots I could check and clean for clogs. In the end, he didn't charge me anything. Additionally, he gave me some pointers to keep my vacuum in shape longer. I dropped my dyson off for service in March. When I went to get the following Saturday they were closed. Covid. What choices did I have I ordered a new vacuum from dyson.com. It arrived a week later. The cord is faulty. Now it won't stand up. Garbage. I called Dyson their answer is to send my new 700$ vacuum to them and in the meantime I have no vacuum again. So they have my original $700 vacuum I can't get and now they don't trust me enough to send me a new one without getting this one back. So I have $1400 worth of vacuums I can't get and piss poor treatment. I'm just disgusted. If the service center was going to close they should've called me to get my vacuum or sent it to me. So impressed with these guys! Our Dyson broke after 6years of great use (1 year after the warranty expired). We took it into this repair shop which we didn't previously know existed, and were told we could repair it or trade it in for a 30% discount off the new machine. We decided to repair ours and buy a new Dyson so we can have one upstairs and one down. He gave us the discount anyway! He actually cleaned our whole older vacuum inside and out. We also expected to have to leave it for 2 weeks and instead we just waited while they repaired it. Now we're driving home with one new Dyson and a second that is as good as new! I was so impressed with the service at the Dyson Service Center in Slc. One of the workers saw me pull up and came out to the car and carried in my vacuum. He took it right back to the shop for a tune up. He replaced the problem area with a brand new part (still under warranty), gave a new filter, and didn't charge me for a another part not covered under warranty. Then he carried the vacuum out to the car. I was in and out in under 10 minutes with no charge and I feel like I have a brand new vacuum! I have never seen such quality service. I went there this afternoon and had an awesome experience. I was welcome by a handsome and very friendly guy named Wyatt. He helped me with a vacuum I acquired from a going out of business place and wasn't sure if it had all the pieces to run the machine He took the vacuum to the back while I filled up my info on the customer card. He promptly returned back and explained that all the pieces were there and the vacuum was in good shape. I asked him a few questions as to how to assemble the vacuum and he gladly showed me everything i needed to know. I asked him if there was something I owed for the great service, but he smiled and said there was nothing I needed to pay for. This is my second great experience at this location and I highly recommend this place for any Dyson repair or checkups Just wanted to thank Wyatt for his great customer service and all his help today and also doing it all with a smile and taking his time to help me out. Took my vacuum in for repairs and the boy said the motor was gone. Not a surprise as I had used it hard. Was more to repair than replace so I purchased a new one. There was one in a box that I wanted but he wouldn't let me take it. Said it had to be shipped to me from Dyson and that it would arrive by the next Wednesday (this was Friday). When I called Dyson the next Wednesday they said it hadn't even processed yet and after processing it would take another week to arrive. Very disappointed in the store and their employees. read more
