visited the Dyson Tysons Corner store the other day to ask for assistance with my girlfriend's Dyson hair dryer that I purchased a few months ago. This was the second time I had an issue with the hair dryer and I wanted advice from their product specialists on how to fix the hair dryer. The sales associate looked up my account while I was explaining the issue and then brought the hair dryer to the back room. The sales associate returned with the store manager. Immediately the store manager aggressively told me that the filters were not clean and that is why the hair dryer is not working properly and that he would not be refunding me or offering me a replacement; which was never my question. I calmly explained that I was not intending to return or asking for an exchange but I just wanted advice on what might be causing an issue with the hair dryer. The store manager would not listen and continued to aggressively say and then got into my face saying again that he will not be refunding or exchanging the product. He then rudely told me to leave and said he will be escorting me out of the store. I will never return to the Dyson store as I have never experienced that kind of treatment before in my life. I will be escalating this to the Dysons corporate team as I find this type of "customer service" completely appalling. read more

This is one of my favorite stores because they have awesome products and the friendliest most helpful staff. I've bought hairdryers and vacuum cleaners here with awesome loyalty discounts and perks. When I got my mom the air wrap for Christmas we got kind of frustrated figuring out how to use it; I called in and they gave us an appointment time for a stylist to show us how to use it. She spent an hour with my mom and she now loves to use it. Just today I went to get a hardwood floor attachment--when I told the associate what kind of vacuum I had he showed me how to switch the settings on my vacuum so I didn't have to spend any extra money. We are very lucky to have this showroom in the area! read more

Great customer service and can only highly recommend. We were going to oder a Dyson Hairdryer though Best Buy but I wanted to see the actual product prior to purchasing. And I am glad I did. The entire staff was very professional and knowledgeable. The store is clean and practices social distance. Guillermo the store manager was absolutely amazing and provided us with a personal shopping experience. We didn't feel rushed nor pressured into purchasing at any time. Because of the overall experience we decided to purchase the Mother's Day bundle with Guillermo simply because we valued his customer service. I highly recommend visiting the store. read more

This store never answers their phone calls and I went in today and they weren't open!! Their website says 11 am and it was almost 2 pm and they didn't even open! Security even tried contacting the district manager and no answer. I emailed Dyson...no response yet. Horrible service overall. read more

Came in for a vacuum part. A friendly salesman helped me immediately, and demonstrated how to attach and use the part. Really impressed with the service at this store--and I love my Dyson vacuum cleaner--it makes vacuuming fun (if you can believe it)! read more

Top notch quality products here, but definitely on the expensive side. The cordless vacuums with trigger handles are a nice touch. You can trick your kids (if you have any) into thinking cleaning is a game. Jk lol read more

BUYERS BEWARE: This store is really just a demo store so it's great for just checking out the product but DO NOT buy the actual product there because if something breaks and it's just one day pass the 30 day return/exchange policy, the manager will do absolutely NOTHING to accommodate you. It's clear they do not stand by their products. I bought a humidifier here against my better judgement instead of getting it at Best Buy and the unit just suddenly stopped working. The manager was condescending and rude, kept saying it's the Service Center's problem, not his store. Newsflash: the service center closes at 6:30PM so who has time to get to Fairfax during rush hour traffic. If this was Best Buy or Costco, they would have gladly exchange the defective item with no issues. Message to Dyson Retail Sales Executive: if you want to drive sales away from third party vendors to your retail store, then you need to hire a manager that understands top notch customer service when dealing with your target customers. This was the first time I purchased a Dyson product from your retail store and it was the only disappointment out of all of my Dyson purchases (which have always been made at Best Buy). Your exchange/return policy and customer service should be SUPERIOR to other vendors, not INFERIOR. Until then I cannot recommend anyone to buy from your store, which runs more like a used car dealership than a luxury store. read more

I was in the look for a new dryer. I went around to various vendors and decided that I would go and look at the Dyson Demo Store at Tyson's Corner. I received quality service from the gentleman named Omari. He showed me all the tools needed for what I would need for the salon. Omari also showed me how each tool worked. He went above and beyond for making sure the customer is satisfied. Omari is the go to person for knowing about the products as well as being able to make sure you are aware of how to properly use the equipment. I didn't even know there was a Dyson Demo store! A friend told me about the Dyson Airwrap and thought, eh... because I didn't know what the Airwrap was all about. We happened to be in Tysons and came across the demo store so we went in. After watching a demonstration of the Airwrap curling iron, and being able to try it out ourselves, I was sold. I brought it home and tried it out that night. I was having some difficulty but I didn't know if it was a design flaw, or operator error. I took everything back in the next morning and demonstrated what was happening at home. Karimah was fantastic! She is friendly and listened to my concerns. She then went about solving my issue with the help of Guillermo. They took the time to troubleshoot my issue. They also took the time to teach me how to properly use the curling iron. I do believe that my issue was my inexperience with the unit. Right now I am limited in my arm movement due to a fractured elbow, so the side of my head that I was having issues with could be my fault. I will update my review of the product down the line. That said, I must say the customer service that I received from Karimah was top notch! She really listened and I got the impression that she wasn't satisfied until I was satisfied. I love dyson but wouldn't buy anything from this store again because it will make you hard to exchange or return it even if you purchased it within a week. You will be directed to go to service center or dyson online and depending on the issue it will give you such a hard time fixing it. If you must buy a thing at this store make sure you open the box and check all the units doesn't have bad molding mark or anything before you leave because if you visit next day you will get in trouble. read more

My first time ever seeing a Dyson store front. Was pretty stoked. My dad recently bought my mom and I a Dyson hair dryer at Bed Bath and Beyond... WHAT A MISTAKE!! Had we purchased the hair dryer here, we would have received 20% off plus a case plus the stand!!! Big mistake. I ended up purchasing a humidifier. The manager, Kevin, was top notch helpful!! He's from my hometown of NY and was amazingly friendly and accommodating. The salesperson, Cory, was equally top notch. So amazingly friendly and knowledgeable and just a pleasure to purchase from. My friend and I walked by the store on Saturday and were intrigued by the Air Wrap so we stopped to take a look. We were obviously not there to purchase anything, but Guillermo asked if we wanted a demo and we happily said yes, but we told him we were not there to buy, merely to try. He said that was not a problem and furthermore - they were sold out of the Air Wrap - so he could not sell us one even if we wanted to make a purchase. We were impressed that he took the time (at least 20 minutes) to demonstrate the Air Wrap even though he knew he was not going to sell us a thing. He was friendly, low key and exemplified great customer service. We will return! read more

I do not usually write reviews about places but the experience I had yesterday at this store was absolutely the worst EVER!!! I unfortunately had to deal with this Incredibly rude sales representative, he was extremely unprofessional, and extremely disrespectful to me and to my friend! We went there to purchase the blowdryer but ended up with this very interesting human being who insulted us in the worst way!! After this horrible interaction I asked him for the store manager's name and he refused to give it to me and literally left the store and walked away!!! I mean who does that?!?!? Worst customer service EVER!!! I will never walk into that place ever again, I own two blowdriers and three vacuum cleaners from them and I love their products but the customer service is beyond HORRIBLE!!! read more

Every employee I interacted with at this store was absolutely amazing. I was waiting on the Airwrap shipment to arrive and so we checked in a few times over the busy black Friday shopping weekend. Despite staff being super busy, they took time with me, listened to my nonsense, and were great when the shipment finally arrived. Wafa, Courtney, Juan Carlos, and Guillermo were fantastic each and every time I entered the store to check on shipment. Dyson has cool products, but they also seem to be very good in their hiring practices. Cheers to the staff and to Courtney's ability to use an Airwrap like a pro (well, she is a pro), I'm still adjusting to mine, but I have no doubt if I went back to the store for more help that Ms. Courtney would help me again and again with patience and kindness. Give these folks some bonus' Dyson, because it's partially because of them I'm willing to spend almost $600 on a hair tool. read more
