Writing this review specifically about the kids club. We love the kids club and the girls that work there. We were informed yesterday that they are closing the kids club. I feel this is a huge mistake as this location is so family rich. The girls in the kids club have made a huge positive impact on our kids, it's helped them to socialize with others, learn how to strengthen their bodies and build confidence in the process. This decision by EOS is causing us to have to leave the gym and search for a new option. I'm sure they will loose a lot of families because of this. I think it's a huge mistake on their part to remove the kids center and we are very sad that we will be loosing a spot where we felt safe, happy, and confident because of the amazing staff inside this kids care center. read more

I have been a member since before it opened. I WAS a huge fan of EOS, and I still go regularly, however, they now cater to a 20 something crowd of wannabe influencers. I just don't get it. Completely REMOVING childcare options after taking away Friday evening and Sundays a couple of years ago is a complete insult to the working parents who want to be healthy! I've been visiting this gym for quite some time. I've also reviewed the reviews and honestly don't understand the negative reviews. I've always had a pleasant experience at the gym. Sure they did construction for a few days, but that needs done to improve services. The staff has always been kind and attentive. Yesterday, I was truly impressed by the employee who was cleaning the men's locker room. He was putting detail into cleaning and really left the locker room very clean. My only criticism isn't the fault of the gym but the result of having a successful gym. It gets very busy in the afternoon so when time allows I just come in the morning. I've gone to different gyms in Phoenix and have always appreciated EOS. This is not my preferred location but it is the closest to my house. With that said, this is still an amazing gym that will help you reach your fitness goals. read more

Do NOT listen to the managers and read all of the fine print. I agreed to pay $28 to try the pool for a month- however, what the manager did not tell me was that there is no such thing as a one month trial (the 7 day free trial did not include the pool). Instead, they tack on a $62 maintenance fee before my trial even ended, and even if I alerted them day one to end my trial... there is a one month notice for cancellation. But with how life's been moving and the recent behavior of your staff this place has started chipping away at my mental peace. Let's be real. Y'all run a promo where bringing in three people gets you a free membership. By that count, I'd have racked up over 20 years free. That's how much I've poured into this place. Yet lately, I'm being micromanaged by kids you've hired some of whom don't even know my name, but feel entitled to walk up and check me like we're friends. I train hard. I stay to myself. I'm preparing for a fight by year's end. The last thing I need is to feel threatened or antagonized by staff who can't hold a respectful tone. You've got people walking in here in spandex and FULL freedom expression, and I support that. Growth is for everyone. But what about my freedom? Why is the energy only going one way? I bring value. I bring energy. I bring people. So if I wanna wear a crop top or a skinny shirt, I'll put my shirt over my neck to cool off and that's what I'm gonna do. I bring value. I bring energy. I give this EOS a five-star review overall because of its consistency. I've been to many EOS locations around the West Valley and even in North Scottsdale, and this one is by far the best. The staff here is always active--constantly interacting with members and making sure we get the most out of the time we invest in our mental, spiritual, and physical well-being. Cleanliness is also extremely important, and this location has truly achieved that! I had rotator cuff surgery. I came in before the surgery to suspend my membership until I could work out again. They still changed my checking account and was not able to reimburse the account. And then told me if I cancel my account there would you charge me a $51 cancellation fee. Super lame and very unhappy. read more

Eos is okay. Overall your typical gym with average prices. two concerns: 1. My husband signed up for a membership in person whereas I signed up online. After signing up I set up my account on my own online because I hate the sales pitches. Afterward I had people texting me multiple times threatening that my account would become inactive if I didn't do the COMPLIMENTARY fitness assessment (which my husband wasn't required to do when he signed up). I went in person and they told me know one would be available till mid day and I had to schedule an appointment... and after telling her I wasn't interested repeatedly, she let me know it wasn't actually required. super frustrating and pushy. 2. the outdoor area here is a disaster. it's honestly worth it for us to drive 3 extra minutes to the newer EOS down the road because of the cleanliness. I've been going here for 3 weeks now and i've seen the same pieces of trash and equipment is never picked up. Hoping the right person sees this and it's addressed. read more

I downloaded a 7 day trial online with my gf. After a gym tour and review of membership they would not honor the trial since I had been a member 3 years ago. This was after we were attempted to be sold memberships, said no multiple times and time wasted. Keep in mind that the website states that you had to be 12 months past cancelation of previous membership. According to math, 36 months is longer than 12. This was an awful experience, a complete waste of time, and gross misinformation on the website resulting in mistrust of this company. read more

So I was researching gyms to join and was in the area so stopped by to check this place out. I was greeted by friendly staff, Chase and Aiden who gave me a tour of the facility. The vibe was just "ok". I didn't see anything special. They do have a cinema room while you workout which was unique to me. Overall, didn't seem like a happening place, just bare and no frills. The membership options available seem high to me for what they offer. Basic is 9.99 plus $149 enrollment fee for this specific location. 26.99 and 29.99 were next level options. Good gym, but even better Daycare. It's not the daycare itself but the staff who work in the daycare. My boys can't get enough of the place.

My daughter had basketball practice not too far from this location, so I decided to go here. We live in Chandler and I usually go to the one on Rural and Ray but I'm glad I got the opportunity to go to this one. It was bigger than the one I usually go to and they had equipment that I'd never seen but I loved. Probably because I went on a Sunday but it wasn't very crowded and the vibe in there was just great. My location is across the street from a high school and I don't mind having the younger kids there but there is definitely and energy that comes with that. lol I'm attaching a picture of the machine that I used and I'm gonna show my gym this and encourage them to get one. =] read more

I joined EOS when they opened and it was $9.99 a month. I joined at the Dysart gym but when I movedm I have been going to the gym on 59th ave, I love it there. When I walk in the door Payton, Nicco and Quinn greet me by my name. They are always smiling and listen tentatively to the members who come in and complain to them about the equipment that has been broken for several months. Even though all they can do is pass the information on to the gym manager. This is one of EOS's oldest gym they need to bring it up to par like the new ones they have opened. read more

Employees were apparently on a 21 minute bathroom break so I couldn't check in and just had to sit there for that long. A lot of the employees are also extremely rude (I.e. one of them, instead of just saying excuse me because I was where they needed to mop, mopped and didn't realize/was distracted literally pretty much ON my feet). I've been coming to this location for a year and a half and never really had any issues with anything. Today, I went to use the hip abductor machine and when I went to sit on it, the seat was wobbly to the point where if I didn't have anything to hold on to, I probably would have fallen off. I got up and looked at the seat, and there were NO BOLTS securing it to the machine! I literally lifted it off with no struggle. I went to the front desk to let them know because it's a hazard that needs an out-of-order sign on it. When I approached them and told them, one of the associates said "oh yeah, but you can still use it!" I'm sorry, what? You're aware that one of the machines is literally falling apart and you not only haven't fixed it, but are encouraging people to still use it? Do better! In so many ways! read more

This review is strictly based on the classes EOS offers. Many times I've wondered how I only pay $25/month for this membership. Every instructor I've had in a variety of classes has been excellent. Virginia Phillips, Randy Robinson and Nikki Raymond's classes are a lot of fun and a great workout. They've all pushed me to do more than I would on my own. My new favorite is Bella Jones. She's an amazing instructor who really loves what she does-it shows! She constantly motivates her class and encourages us to be our best selves. She's so much fun and super kind. I love how I feel after her class...stronger and happier. Thanks to all of the instructors at EOS! read more

I've been going to this EOS location for a while now and have been very impressed with the staff, especially Quinn. Quinn is at the front desk almost every time I come in... There is not a day where I've not been greeted with a genuine smile and great attitude from him. I've always felt welcomed and comfortable coming into this location. GYM WITH PLENTY OF AMENITIES.....look no further. it can be crowded because of the price point- work around it. I can't speak on child care or the swimming, but the weight machines, classes and gear related are really great. Arrowhead Ranch EOS is ok as far as gyms go but the customer service and personal training are lacking. I cancelled my 'years long' membership today and understandably will be charged another 30 days, but the manager said I'm also obligated to pay my annual fee for the upcoming year! i also utilized the personal trainer services earlier this year and was told the sessions would expire if not used in a certain amount of time... only to find out today, that is not the case! **Horrible Management and Unauthorized Charges** I've had an incredibly frustrating experience with this gym. EOS has been taking money out of my account without permission, and despite calling over four times in one month to try and get ahold of a manager, I still haven't received a callback. I was promised a free month as compensation for the unauthorized charges, but when the month came along, they claimed it didn't get processed fast enough and I'd have to wait until it was cleared up on THEIR end. No apology on my end. Carl was very rude and had nothing to say from their mistake. I tried to speak to the General Manager, but he never called back. When I called again, they told me he was in the bathroom. Two days later, I guess he's still in the bathroom. I'm now looking into other gyms this weekend. This level of poor management and customer service is unacceptable. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere. read more
