But this white girl that looks young told us we can't use his benefits and his membership wasn't active which what she said was bullshit and doesn't know what she's talking about at all. She must be new enough to not understand how that works. So we went to another EOS on rural and Guadalupe and they helped us both a lot! I'm a guest with my friend and I have 10 days to go to their gym without him if I wanted to. And the guy at that location agreed with us to and said he doesn't know what they're on about. He showed us my friends membership being active. So I HIGHLY recommend the EOS on Guadalupe and Rural!! Abysmal treatment of people w disabilities, poor customer service, severely deficient sanitation, and deceptive billing practices. I have severe mobility issues - so showering, drying off and changing takes me a long, long time. I was escorted off premises by Tempe police because I was taking too long. I wasn't informed by staff, no one told me I was "exceeding club policy", no one checked to see if there was a problem or if I was having a medical issue! Staff showed up with police and said "you have to leave, now." Fortunately I was 90% dressed, had to forego socks. Obv cancelling my membership, filing complaints with state, and considering a discrimination suit. These people should be ashamed! And let's not even bother talking about the lack of sanitation and deceptive billing practices. read more

Tyler is the best!! I wanted to leave this review to complement and praise his excellent customer, service and attention to detail. Out of over six Eōs locations, Tyler was the only one who took the time to truly help me resolve all the issues I had with my account. She help me sign up and I highly recommend to sign up with Tyler. He is a gentleman and quite courteous as well. Been a member here since 2018 The cardio machines are good. Ellipticals, tread, mills, and stair climbers. I've noticed that some of the treadmill's are a little bit wobbly so I've had to switch machines a few times when I work out here. The movie room as awesome as well. It can really make the cardio pass by quickly. I believe this location is a little bit smaller as they used to be our old **Gold's's gym. They still have an adequate amount of equipment to get a great workout in. The squat racks are fully equipped, although I wish they had a few more of the ones with wooden boards, they only have one. They are continuously improving and renovating the outdoor Fitness area. The functional fitness areas. Awesome here. They have something for everyone. The pool has three laps. Love doing swimming cardio after a good workout! They have a shared sauna, which is an interesting experience at times. Simply put, I feel like this is something that should be separated into both different genders, but considering the size of location, this is definitely acceptable. The parking lot can be a battle ground at times. Be careful! Do your best to refrain from going to Dunkin' Donuts in the same parking lot, right after the workout! Ha ha. I spoke to Xander last September 06, 2024, and he was very accommodating with all my questions and invited me to their branch to explain more about the multiple packages they offer. The next day we showed after going to another EOS branch (I-10 and Warner) that will be another review for that branch. As we entered, we notified the host that we have an appointment/I spoke to Xander and expecting us; unfortunately, he was not available to she introduced us to Vicente. He invited us to his table and told him that we wish to join the gym. Asked our goals, interests, and why EOS. After all that discussion he walk us through the facility and showed us their different equipment, pool, theater room/workout and room where they do Zumba, yoga, and others. Once the walk-through is completed - we went back to his desk and discussed the different packages, benefits and what they offer on top of all that were mentioned. Each package was well-explained to us and took time to explain each and one of the programs. After the presentation Vicente asked if we have any questions and he politely answered all of them; very professional. After 30 minutes of discussion, he has our business and signed-up for family of four. To EOS Corporation, Vicente is a great asset to your company and keep up the good work! You never realize how long a minute is until you exercise. This is the EOS I originally signed up at. It has all your standard equipment and necessities. There's no tanning room or recovery room here but it's fine. The machines get repaired accordingly and during the pandemic, you see staff frequently sanitizing the equipment. But I'm really writing this review because of Alycia Simons. She's the best cycle instructor at this EOS. She's high energy and you walk out high on endorphins. The hardest part of working out is going but once you're in class, the music, her disco ball, and the energy is just contagious. If you need a good workout, take Alycia's class! read more

Signed up for the gym and loved all the amenities. Came in a week later and found out the person who signed me up messed up so they had to make me a new account and that wasn't a problem at the time. Had to resign up with a new email. Was informed my account was cancelled so continued to use my new account. 3 months after got a call from collections letting me know that I owed money for my membership (that I've been paying). Found out they didn't cancel it and I've been paying for two memberships. I now apparently owe them 122 dollars that I actually have been paying on my other account. They keep saying they have deleted it but it has not actually happened. I've called multiple times and am told they are fixing it but just got charged on that account on top of the one I actually use. Terrible management and takes money out of there clients off of their own mistakes. Very disappointing. read more

My friend has the membership where he can bring guest and go to any eos in the valley and when i would go with him to would get pulled to the side by a salesman trying sell a membership to me when I'm a guest with my friend. After the third time of this happening i finally got the cheapest membership because honestly f these people. Months later I'm trying to switch my home gym over to a different EOS and they make it seem like an impossible task so I ended up canceling. My friend also got $500 taken out of his account from eos in a month and is still disputing the charge at the moment. And a few years back I had an old coworker who was also sent to collections by this location when he didn't even have a membership or anything to do with the gym. I have been a member of EōS fitness since a little before COVID. They were good about pausing membership during COVID since we didn't know if we'd be able to step foot outside again. EōS has all the standard exercise machines and free weights. There is a small outdoor area in the back for when it's not 110. There's a pool and I think a sauna. There's a functional exercise area with turf, TRX, a tire-flip machine, sleds, a battle rope, kettlebells, etc which I appreciate. Also a movie theater cardio room which is kinda nice. This location also has a kids club, which my kids haven't gotten bored of yet, so it must be pretty good. There's a big hamster-tube-style climbing thing with a slide or two, some toys, a play kitchen area, some coloring pages, and a kids movie playing. Reservations are needed and i have had to skip some days because there weren't any kids club reservations available. The drawbacks I've had with this club are your standard health club drawbacks. It took weeks to get my kids signed up for kids club because of some random website issue. The front desk staff couldn't help me and the website support said I had to talk to the club staff. The kids club reservation system is also much more complicated than it needs to be. Likely a third-party service that isn't or can't be seamlessly integrated with the rest of the website. Anyways. It's a decent gym with some fun additional functional equipment and probably could use a few extra classes, a few more (kids club) staff members, and a more user-friendly website. read more

A year ago I received a letter stating there was a gym the offered membership for 10$ a month. I should have known better and shame on me. Once I came in, there is a daycare with little kids throwing themselves around on mats while the staff were on their phones TikToking it. But I gave it a chance anyway and again shame on me. The decor is normal. Weights and machines like normal and nothing special. However, after signing up for membership the employee was asking what my goals were and he was ready to sign me up for personal training. I declined and he asked me again. I should have known better ( predatory behavior), so shame on me.... My first week there working out I saw a couple walk in and they looked frustrated and the male started talking loudly to stop charging his card since he Cancelled his membership. This was a red flag and I should have know better and shame on me for not listening to logic. However, I cancelled my membership after 7 months and it took me 12 calls in a row just to talk to a manager and to make sure they would not charge my card and I stopped all future payments from charging my card to finally cancel. If you want to go to a cheap gym just know what you are getting into and you get what you pay for, so just know that. This gym "EOS" is spreading across the valley like a vicious strain of genital herpies and they will not let you quit them. They will charge you and charge you and charge you until you block them for future payments. Also when employees tell you this gym is shady and there has been a problem with the gym charging customers, this is a red flag. The managers have enough information as the toilets do. The biller hides in the basement and doe not talk to anyone and just charges and charges. Save yourself some frustration and pay a little extra for a reputable gym and skip these gyms. read more

My family goes to the gym 3-4 times a Week. I have 3 boys 14-15, my husband, and often guests. For the summer we did Planet Fitness as they had the free student program - now it's ending and we are looking for our home gym. We signed up for the week pass to check out EOS. Cam and another person got the info and schedule our time to come in and start. They knew the ages as they setup the accounts. Tuesday of this week the 2 boys and my husband were working out. Some manager came over and literally kicked them out. He said 14 year olds weren't allowed to use the pass. We had an adult there, the boys are always respectful and work out like adults when there, he said "it's just policy". So they can pay for a membership, but they can't use the pass? He said they can't be guests if you sign up and they offer free guests, and they can't use the week free pass. The guy was rude, didn't care that we had signed up, he claimed the two that signed them up were "new". He's the reason we will not be choosing EOS. They left and went to planet fitness. They missed out on a family of of 4 paying monthly, in addition we have an immediate family of 20, who all are gym goers. Their loss. read more

Absolute horrible customer service, people there are incredibly rude and unethical. They'll sign you up for random things, charge your card without consent, and always have the worst attitude when confronted. I used to prefer coming here over LA Fitness but recently the experience has been awful. The clientele is trash most likely because the membership staff do not teach them proper gym etiquette and enforce rules. People treat this space like it is their private gym. Working out barefoot in a public gym is gross. Someone recently colored their hair in the women's locker room which stained the sinks. This morning, a door to a bathroom stall was off half of the hinges. It is also weird that they allow non-EOS staff to train here. It is not staffed appropriately. For example, there have been times when the women's locker room is out of toilet paper or soap and the men working the front desk have shrugged and said there is nothing they can do. It is unsanitary and dangerous. read more

Between the staff and special Chris the front desk agent and one other gentleman who work tonight along with the manager made my experience absolutely phenomenal. They just can't get it right at this gym. First I was told that there was a $0.14 enrollment fee but I actually was charged $50. When I called about it they said it is what it is, that I had to pay the enrollment fee anyway. Because I had already had a prior membership within the year I was told I wouldn't be charged $60 for the annual fee. You guessed it, I was still charged. I went in & asked about this & was told I would be refunded. I checked my bank account & they refunded me the $50 enrollment fee instead of the $60 annual fee. They just can't get it right. I signed up for a membership in December and cancelled after one month. I did this in-person by talking to a salesperson who verbally confirmed to me that my "month-to-month" membership had been cancelled. Five months later, I realized I was continuing to get charged a monthly fee (they also confirmed to me that this membership was month-to-month and could be cancelled at any time). Once I noticed, I reached out to them over email and have yet to hear back (it's been over a week). They charge your bank account (not your credit card) so there's no way to dispute the fees, like you could on a card. This review is only about EOS's Aqua and Dance classes. **Rural/Ray EOS, Aqua teachers, Lisa B and Dawn M are superb teachers. Dance teachers, Stephanie G and Marlon S. There are two other EOS location also has very strong dance program. ** I-10/Warner, five dance classes per week, all are very good. ** Alma/60 only has two dance classes per week, but both teachers are also exceptional choreographer and dancers. But I would give their website 2 stars only, 1. you can only register class from APP, can't do it from the website. 2. They don't show teachers name on the website. I hadn't been much of a group fitness person until I joined EOS last year - the group fitness instructors are really good - particularly like Marlon and Thomasa - they bring a lot of energy and fun in their classes! Check out Brittney for body pump! The group fitness space is on the small size - get there a little early to save your spot. I joined EOS Fitness in February of 2024. My husband and I were in Tempe for two months and asked if we could join for February and March. We had two separate memberships and the person who signed us up explained that we have to give 30 day notice to stop our membership which we knew we would have to do. We also bought six joint training sessions with Marlene. We enjoyed our time there and at the 30 days before dropping our membership we each made the calls and followed all the steps to stop our memberships . My membership was not discontinued. EOS took money out of my bank account and charged me for training sessions with my credit card. I stopped payment at my bank and disputed the charges to my credit card. I recovered some more from the credit card company but not all. I called and asked to talk to a manager several times. The manager was never available . Terrible place to deal with. Nothing like winding down your day with a great workout. I am a huge fan of this location on Gilbert Road & the one off of Ray & Warner. The gym is extremely clean and the machines are new and always ready to use. Not to mention affordable! I have the 25$ membership with one yearly fee of about 50$, which allows me to visit all gyms and bring a plus one. Let me not forget 24hr access!! This place is a JOKE. I canceled my membership back in September 2023 and was informed that there was a 30-day cancellation window, which meant I would be charged for the month of October. I agreed to this understanding, as it seemed fair at the time. However, it is now February 2024, and I am still being charged for my membership despite having canceled it months ago. I have made multiple phone calls to the gym in an attempt to resolve this issue, but each time I am given the runaround and told that the "operations manager" will call me back. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive a single call from them. I am at a loss as to how to get this matter resolved. It is incredibly frustrating to be continuously charged for a service I no longer use, especially when the gym refuses to contact me or provide any assistance. I really wish I could leave a better review, but spending five nights a week at this location for almost three years now gives me very honest insight. The upkeep of this location is incredibly disappointing. Machines and equipment are always broken. The heavy bag hasn't been replaced since the new year. The sauna is now down for 'maintenance' for the third time since December. Even the most basic things like paper towels, TP, etc are never stocked. The majority of the employees here don't really do anything besides joke around with their friends and hit on the girls working out. No one ever answers the phone if I try calling about something. Heck, my name was input incorrectly in their system when I first signed up and they still haven't fixed it despite me mentioning it at the front desk a few times now! I've never actually been able to set up the EoS app on my phone because my information is inaccurate. Please know this isn't a complaint about EoS as a whole. Every other location I've been to in the valley has been awesome and a great place to lift and work out. read more
