My old car was on its last days. As I am now almost eight months pregnant, time was running out on getting a new car before my first child arrives. My boyfriend and I searched the internet for a decent car in our budget, and found one we thought would be perfect. As it was on Craigslist, however, we realized we needed to get it seen by a mechanic prior to purchasing it. I then began my hunt for a mechanic who could do a pre-purchase inspection as soon as possible. In my hunt, I found E & A Auto Repair -- a high-quality auto shop with excellent customer service and an owner who is present every single day and truly cares about his customers. So, during my hunt for a mechanic I had called numerous auto shops questioning their prices and availability to see my car. Most of them were outrageously high with lots of, "If this is wrong with the car, we encourage you to get this looked at which will cost ... extra," and so on. Most also weren't able to see me until the following week. When I called E & A Auto Repair, I was joyfully answered by Chris. After explaining my situation to him, he explained that I could bring the car in at any time that week for a flat fee which was extremely competitive when comparing it to my other estimates. I brought the car in the next day where it was fully inspected within two hours. Nazhir, the owner, came to the waiting room and asked me to follow him back to see the car. He personally pointed out to me the NUMEROUS flaws with this car (tires about to pop due to an accident it was in that the owners did not tell me about, missing bolts, disconnected wires, zipties holding things together, etc.). In this process he'd shown me a great concern for my safety-- a random customer who had never been there before (and, potentially, could never return), who came in without an appointment, and purchased a service which isn't very expensive. He told me I needed to call the owners and ask them if they were okay with him rotating the front tires, about to pop, to the back so, if they were to pop on my way back to Beaverton, the crash wouldn't be nearly as detrimental. If not, he said, I needed to tell them that they need to pay for me to take an Uber back to town and come to the shop to pick up the car themselves! The damages were extremely bad, and I was shocked at how much energy he put into this service for me. The owners, luckily, said they were okay with Nahzir rotating the tires for me-- a service which he did for me for free. He wished me well and informed me that they do *REALLY great* discounts on further cars that are taken in for pre-purchase inspections, as the process of buying a new car is stressful enough. From this point on, I knew that I trusted these people and definitely planned on coming back for future auto needs. A couple of days later, I found another car which seemed promising. The seller was looking to sell it quickly, so I was overjoyed when Chris told me again that any day worked fine. I took in the car two days later and Nahzir looked it over, this one in just over an hour, and he sat down with my boyfriend and I and explained what he'd found. He noticed traced signs of a small accident that must have happened years ago that the seller hadn't told me about, but that there wasn't any substantial damages which I should worry about. He explained the quality of everything in that car, what needed to be replaced (simply an oil change and an air filter), and that it was, overall, a car he would feel extremely safe driving his own children around in. I sincerely trust his judgement-- I know and appreciate how thorough he does his job. In addition to all this, Nahzir and his family have been overwhelmingly generous in celebrating the life I'm bringing into this world with my boyfriend and I. They've offered us a lot of support, compensated in only homemade cookies. I usually never write reviews about anything; regardless of the service. Nahzir and his crew have gone above and beyond for my family. We now have a beautiful car that I feel is safe and reliable, all thanks to the intelligence, generosity, and thoroughness of E & A Auto Repair. I will not be taking my auto business elsewhere in the future. With my business at E & A Auto Repair, I did not only gain a trustworthy new mechanic, but I also found a new friend. I cannot speak to the others' reviews on this website, and I will not try to. I can say, however, Nahzir is truly a beyond decent man. ***BEWARE*** the owner Nazier is a scam! Took my car here and he had it for almost 2 months with so many excuses. He also tried to have me fill out a form from the car dealership about some security device on my vehicle in order to change the transmission. It had asked for all my personal info. I asked him about it and said I don't trust giving out that Info. He got mad about it and didn't understand my reason why. He's an idiot and the biggest scam. I don't know if he took parts from my car and exchanged them for other default parts... who knows. But he came with so many excuses to why my car wasn't done. He stated he received my transmission and was already working on it. I called him one day about the form he wanted me to fill out regarding my security device in my vehicle. He got really mad and offensive. He told me he didn't want to fix my car again because I didn't trust him. 2 months my vehicle was with him, he asked for personal info regarding my security device on my vehicle, and he lied about my car being fixed at the moment. He said he's waiting on the part. OF COURSE I DONT TRUST HIM ANYMORE AFTER THOSE 3 factors. **DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE** **NAZIER IS A SCAM AND A LIAR** May the way his prices kept going up every time I spoke with him. Ranged close to about $5,000 I decided to take it to my dealership and I only paid $3200. Danger, Danger, Danger!!! If you like your car do not bring it here. Our Jaguar was wrecked while at the shop. They attempted to cover-up the damage by repainting the fender. They have never told us how the car was wrecked or why they chose to cover it up and not be honest with us. read more

They do the best work, and they are honest and above board. That's important when dealing with an auto mechanic. I worked in the Dealer industry from the age of 16-20 years old, and I've seen how the sausage is made, sort of speak. These people are the bees' knees, if they tell you a price and time needed to fix your vehicle, they stick to it. And will point out the 'real' cause of what you may think is wrong. I recommend them highly. I've been three times now. The 1st: Rotors Replaced, 2nd: 60,000 Service, and just today, 3rd: Tune~Up and Wheel bearing issue fixed! It's interesting how "Greg" below me has only written one review, and it's in praise of E & A Auto Repair. I bought a lemon at Autolane down the street on 82nd and they send me to E & A (they referred to him as "their mechanic") to get some work they promised me done. While the work he did appeared to be satisfactory, he told me the engine and transmission were both in "great condition." He also hosed down the engine to hide oil leaks. If E & A was not subsidized by the shady Autolane business they'd probably be a better business. read more

After 3 missed calls they finally answer and Nazier was disrespectful and start raising his voice and saying that he will call me when he is free WTF. Terrible shop! Seems very good and I see all the PLANTED reviews but the negative ones tend to come up no matter what he does. The owner is very shifty. Took my car in and kept getting excuses why I wasn't getting it back. After having it for 2 weeks I went to to shop to see what is up and found that he had a bunch of cars he put on the street towed! Said he put them on the street because he was getting his parking lot paved..... no notice and it cost me impounds. He is being sued but when I went to garnish his bank account he closed it! I can't imagine why this place has bad reviews, I have had nothing but good experiences here. I have gone to E&A as my only mechanic for 7 years. Had my car misfiring said he was for sure that was the fix, and it wasnt. Way overpriced. never recived a call back. Would not reccomend.

I took my van into their shop on 7/28/16 for brake repair, they fixed it with a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty and I paid $720.00. In December 2016 I took it back to them to fix the brakes again under warranty, they fixed them but broke my drivers door handle off. I took it back in January for them... to replace my door handle, they put on a used, dirty green door handle (wrong year for my vehicle), with no explanation as to why. Then, for the past 5 months I've been trying to get a hold of them to come in to have them put on my new door handle (correct year for my van and also correct color) but I have only been able to get a hold of someone 3 times in 5 months. The last time was over a month ago when the owner said that he had been in the hospital and would put my door handle on soon. I never heard from them again and have NOT been able to get a hold of them. Now, my brakes are completely out again and I still have a green door handle on my blue van. My brakes are still under warranty but since I can't get a hold of them I have to take my van to another place to have them fix my brakes. I am a single mother who struggles to pay her bills and can't afford to be throwing money around to pay for some shop to do horrible work. And he won't fix my door handle that HE broke off!! This company is NOT BBB ACCREDITED and already has 3 complaints with the Better Business Bureau!! read more

Got my 2008 Audi A-4 s-line fixed a couple years ago. After I bought it from copart, I had all the body work and repair done at Alpina auto, since I'm friends with the owner. Great job, only the check engine light kept coming on, and every time they scanned it, it came back with an EVAP code. Called Nazier, who was kind and patient, and I dropped off my car to see if they could figure it out. I had read so many amazing reviews online that claimed he had the best prices, and does the best work. 2 days later, got a call from Jared, who said they found the problem and ordered a part to replace the Evap hose, which was cracked. Price was $383 for part+installation. Seemed a bit pricey, and I had originally done a 3 star review, but Nazier called me and explained why it cost me that much and he really gave me the best deal he could find. Offered to give me a free oil change anytime. Nobody cares more about preserving business, keeping a sterling reputation, and maintaining customer satisfaction more than these guys do. Over the weekend, the driver window in our car refused to automatically roll up and it being 5 minutes to 6pm on a Saturday evening, we were pretty much at a loss for places to help us out that night. We called these guys up, got the owner on the phone, he agreed to stay open till we got there so he could check it out and see what he could do. Ended up staying open an hour past close just to fix our issue and displayed PHENOMENAL customer service and knowledge about the car. Will continue going to them for our car needs. Loved it. Owner was down to earth, real, and talked to us like we were human beings. read more

Bad experience. Don't go by all these positive reviews. Before purchasing our Honda Odyssey, I took the car to E&A for an inspection. Transmission noise was found, brakes bad, etc. I arranged to buy the car minus the cost of repairs and have E&A do the work. I clearly explained a two week deadline was imperative in order for us to take a 2,000 mile summer vacation. Three days before the deadline, I'd heard nothing from E&A so I called to inquire. After multiple missed phone calls and miscommunication entirely on their part, the car was not done and my wife had to waste two days (after the deadline) of her vacation time to wait for the car repair. $1500 bill. THEN, after driving 1500 miles on our trip, a passerby noted that we were loosing fluid underneath the car. Turns out the transmission was SEVERAL quarts of fluid low because E&A failed to install a washer in the trans fluid line - it had been severely leaking the entire trip. Damage to the trans? Who knows. THEN, just today I took the car to a Honda dealership to investigate a rumble and grinding noise in the front steering area - what was it? Bolts on the sway arm and trans casing were completely loose - some only holding on by a thread. The Honda Tech said the only way this cold have happened is with inadequate bolt tightening by the last mechanic. Don't take your car to E&A! You'll waste time and money. read more
