I dropped off my son's ebike with Andy for repair at Ebike Premier. This was for a simple brake repair job which should take no longer than a couple of days. After a couple of weeks of me chasing them for an update, I was told that they are still working on the bike. After 3 weeks they call to let me know that they cannot repair the brake and need to order a replacement. I was told the part would cost an additional $60 (which they ended up charging me $120 for) but it was fine because I just wanted the bike back for my son. Again, after calling them to follow up, because they will never call you, I finally get a hold of Andy who informs me the brake came in but they just havent got around to installing it. Another 2 weeks go by and they informed me that the bike is ready to be picked up. I get to the shop and notice that the wheel is not spinning freely and they sell me on this BS that this is the way it is with these ebikes. Fine, I take the bike and go home. First thing I notice is that they broke the light/horn switch (which they claim was already broken) My kid rides the bike for 5 minutes and falls off injuring himself because the brakes they installed were faulty and locked up the front tire completely causing him to fly off the bike. I send them a video of the tire not spinning and they say to bring it back in again. They find nothing wrong becuase this happens onlt after about 10 min of riding the bike. The brakes heat up and the pistons fail. But why would they bother to test the bike before giving it back to the customer. Anyway, I take the bike and again this happens again. I finally request my money back and inform them that I want to take my bike to a different shop that knows what they're doing. The "owner" Tim, now calls me and apologizes and asks that I give them one more shot to make things right. I agree and bring the bike in once again. Tim calls me a week later to let me know that indeed the brake they had installed, while new, was faulty and they duplicated the problem and have fixed it. I finally go pick up the bike yesterday only to find that the new brake lever they installed is a different color than the original, but that they also broke 3 more components on the bike. Andy who is the co-owner but apparantly has no say in anything gets Tim on the phone and he proceeds to tell me that I need to accept things as they are and that they have already done so much for me. That was the final straw. Let me also mentions that I purchase a bike from these jokers for $1400 before this fiasco. They care zero about the customer. Only $$$$ read more

I heard about this place and wanted to buy an e-bike today. I came prepared to pay cash and ride one off the floor. I'm such an impatient cat, I didn't want to wait a couple of days for delivery from Amazon. My perception is: this is not a showroom to shop for a new e-bike. It's a repair shop with a few bikes for sale. More than once I saw a bike I might like and it was a repair job waiting to be picked-up by it's owner. I did hear a voice from the back offering help, but by then I was pretty shut-down from my spending mode, so here's your extra star for offering to help. I feel like shops like this make a point of not offering "exactly" the same product you can buy online, but some were quite close and not competitively priced. This is a perfect example of brick and mortar shops not being able to compete with online shopping, and sending the customer home to their computer. No, a computer can't greet you when you arrive and assist you with your selection. Unfortunately neither can E-bike Premier. read more

Terrible communication, but nice people (I guess?). I dropped by scooter off for a diagnostic, and they gave me a week timeline, which was fine. I inform them this is my commuting vehicle. A week goes by and there is no communication. I call a day after they said they would get to it and they still haven't looked at it. They said would get to it tomorrow. I wait two days then call. They still haven't gotten to it. 3 days later, they call me and inform me that it's a battery problem and they have contacted the supplier for a quote. I say, great, please give me an estimate on everything. They say fine we'll get you a quote. 3 weeks ago by and no communication. I've secured other transportation. They call me and inform me the scooter is ready and I have bill due. I say, I asked for a quote and never approved this. They realize their error and say oops, we'll comp some of the work (something else needed to be repaired). Disappointed I agree. They call me back 2 hours later and reneg on their promise. They say they've done work and wont uphold the promise they JUST made me. I need to pay them everything or they'll pull the battery they already installed and I'll need to pay them additional labor than the bill I was already quoted if I want work done. They pull the newly installed battery but when I go to pick it up, they kindly explain how to reinstall it. Which was nice, I guess. Definitely will not be returning for future service. read more

I purchased an e-bike for my son for Christmas . Tim and Andy were great with communicating while I tried to figure out which bike I was going to purchase. They had actually sold out of the bike that I decided to purchase but they went out of their way and ordered another one to make sure I could get it before Christmas. The entire transaction went smoothly and it was great experience overall. They really went above and beyond On Christmas Eve when we discovered that I didn't pick up the charger when I picked up the bike. I was definitely panicked but the shop had already closed so there wasn't much that could be done. Even though Tim doesn't live near the shop, he ended up driving to the shop on Christmas Eve to meet me to give me the charger. The guys here are the most honest and knowledgeable people in the business. They helped me fix a problem on my bike after my puppy had chewed the power cable and then the wiring got wet in the rain. It was basically a total loss for all the other places I went to but they found a way to save it for me. Its absolutely crazy to find out that my whole bike was almost rendered useless because a lot of the older style bikes were made in such a way that you can't repair a damaged power line, it seemed like such a waste of a great bike. This is a great Bike shop if you need an E-bike repair. They just worked on my Rad Rover 4 bike. The rear tire tube needed replacing.

Took my ebike in for repair and 2 months later I got it back. But Tim lost the peddle assist switch. he never got around to order a replacement part. I finally bought my own. Less than a year later my controller died we think Tim said he would order me one but never did and stopped returning my calls. Think twice cuz this seems to be a pattern if you read other reviews. read more

Great experience! Went in to just browse and ask a couple of questions. Not expecting to buy a bike that day, but ended up riding out with a bike! They answered all my questions and even brought up useful info I didn't think of. They were very transparent when giving me options on which bike I wanted. I was between two and they told me they would get the same commission with either one. So what they were telling me is not convincing me to buy one bike over the other. Here to leave yet another well deserved 5-star review for the guys at BM E-bikes. I'd been trying to figure out for a while how best to convert my Brompton folding bike to electric. After inquiry and research, I found that the process wasn't exactly straightforward, it being a UK-made bike with Euro sizing. It needs a very specific conversion kit, and none were available for domestic purchase in the US. From the get go, Tim assured me that he could procure the parts and do the job -- and based on the excellent Yelp reviews, I put my confidence in him and his team (over others who said they would also do it) even though their shop is a bit of a trek from where I live. This turned out to be a good call! Although the job took longer than Tim himself anticipated (international orders needed to be placed) Tim kept in communication with me throughout with status updates. He also gave me a discount due to the long wait time, which was super nice of him. Since I'd done my homework, I knew that extra work/time was probably going to be required, so I remained patient. Well, it certainly paid off because they did an excellent job with the conversion! My Brompton still folds up as compactly as before (one of the many cool things about them), and the battery sits inside a stylish bag (that's even in a coordinating color!) that they attached to a rack that fits perfectly onto the original Brompton rack mount! Now I'm zipping around on my Brommie everywhere, even using it as a shopping cart like other owners do with theirs (see my photos!) as the guys at BM were even nice enough to install some roller wheels that I provided to them. Needless to say, I recommend BM E-bikes without any reservations. read more

I bought a Rawrr Mantis last year and thought it was a great place until I needed my bike fixed. Not only did they charge me for labor, $120/hr which was covered under the warranty, but the part he got wasn't even the actual issue. Tim, the "owner" has no clue what he's doing as far as service and repair. All he knows how to do is bullshit his way to make a sale, which he obviously makes a pretty penny on considering the two vehicles he drives, but if there's an issue and the bike needs fixing he's definitely not the one you want to have to take it to. I don't know why Tim thinks he's the master at ebike repair and charges more for labor than Harley Davidson which if you've ever owned one is much more labor intensive. His knowledge and skill set for repair is almost zero and if you can find another shop, even if you have to travel a bit, take it to them. read more

I now have over 2,000 miles on the bike, and it has been running great. I've called BME a few times and they have been very helpful. I live pretty far away from BME, but it was worth the drive to have them do the conversion. I mostly use peddle assist level 1 and though I usually ride about 20 miles on hilly roads, it looks like the range of my 750 with 48v stock battery would be more than 60 miles. I was hoping to find a new place to service my two e-bikes but after a few difficult customer service interactions, I realized this spot was not going to be it. I was trying to get a replacement e-bike battery. At first, the shop said I should go through the manufacturer but then they said they could order it for me which was great because it was sold out on the manufacturer's website. They called me back the next day and said, we put the order in, it'll take about a month. I called one month later to learn that no one had placed my order and there was no record of the multiple conversations I had with staff. I looked up the exact date and time I had spoken to someone and submitted that through the Contact Us page on their website - no answer. I called back today to see if they figured out who I spoke to last month. They were unhelpful (well a lot of people work here) and they didn't even have a record of the message I sent through their website. Then they asked that I call the manufacturer and said it was them that was giving the shop the runaround and to ask for their rep. The manufacturer said that the rep only dealt with businesses so they weren't sure why they told me to contact them. In the end, I got help from the manufacturer who actually referred me to a third party because they couldn't help. I hope people have better experiences at the shop than I did over the phone because it left a lot to be desired. read more

This review is long overdue. I randomly met the owner Tim outside of my bank and he invited me to come check out his bike shop. I ended up going hoping to find a bike for my girl and myself. First off, don't be fooled, this shop doesn't only sell E bikes, they sell all types of bikes. Tim was awesome and provided me with some of the best customer service I have ever received. He was patient and really paid attention to what I was looking for. Being new to mountain biking, I had countless questions and Tim took the time to answer each and everyone of them. He also assisted me in ordering and purchasing a bike rack that fit my vehicle. The bikes I wanted were not in stock so Tim special ordered them from the factory for me. This guy is no joke, he takes his business and customers very seriously. Something that is extremely difficult to find now a days.
