I was at the store on Memorial Day weekend to change a watch band and batteries. I usually get my watch repaired at other stores but after my experience at E D Marshall Jewelers in Surprise, AZ, I am their next loyal customer! Traditionally, I spend $10.00 to $15.00 to replace my watch battery. But at E D Marshall, it was only $5.00. After I told the Jewelers that the watch had a sentimental value to me, he told me the cost to repair your watch is "Free." The wristwatch was my first Christmas gift from my husband 15 years ago. While waiting, I saw several customers entering in and out to get their jewelry appraised, fix, or looking to purchase new jewelry. Each customer received individualized attention and left the store with answers and additional information regarding their specific inquiries. The employees are knowledgeable and courteous. Needed a bracelet safety latch repaired. Went to V jewelry. I provided the safety chain--needed to have the latch checked and attach chain. Quoted $55 with pickup in 7 days. One day service $85. WOW. Wanted a second quote. Walked into ED Marshall. Lost the business card and can't recall the woman's name. But. She has the most beautiful hair She tweaked the latch for security and took the time to demonstrate how to properly attach and detach the clasp. Asked her how much for the repair. She said no payment necessary. Just remember the store for any future shopping I live in Colorado. But for future jewelry purchases, I will call her and you should too!!!! read more

do not sell your jewelry here! they weigh things behind the counter so you cant see how much you are getting. i think i dealt with carr? he paid me for the weight of my sterling silver navajo jewelry but gave nothing extra for the fact that it was signed. he told me he was going to return my 10 karat topez because he only was paying for the gold, but he has not given me the stone back. i gave him a very heavy stering huge bracelet but it got lost in conversation and i have no idea if i was paid for it. before you sell any jewelry, go to the usaa website, it has some good advice: https://www.usaa.com/inet/pages/advice-home-sellingjewelry?akredirect=true needless to say, this guy took advantage of me. read more
