This is probably one of the cleanest and nicest decorated buffet I've been to in a while. Seating is quick on a weekday but expect some wait during a weekend. There's a little bit of everything in terms of food (American, chinese, dessert, fruit, sushi, salad) and it will definitely get you full. It's a good comfort spot- especially for the price ($20). Obviously don't expect the most authentic cuisine, but I think it's well worth it's value and we'll continue coming here when we're craving some comfort food lol

Not bad, not good--just barely passing. Think mall Chinese food, but with slightly better ingredients. Packed to the brim in a heavily populated area near 290, like everyone had the same bad idea at once. The "highlight" short ribs were either wiped out or burned into charcoal art. The ice cream machine refused to dispense vanilla, and when the worker investigated, his professional solution was for me to wait and hope for a miracle. Food quality was aggressively mediocre, but hey... it's a buffet. Expectations were already on the floor.

Clean and good food. We went right at 11am and it was fresh food. The basic American Chinese foods. Best thing is the salt and pepper shrimp. Good price for the amount of food they provide.

    I LOVE THIS PLACE!

We will never stray and try any other Chinese buffet, ever. This place is great, they really do have a great selection of food choices and fresh! Everything is delicious and super friendly wait staff.

Went across town to check out this buffet my dad had recommended. It was a Sunday early evening and it was completely packed. The selection is pretty typical of Asian buffets and everything was as tasty as AYCEs go. My bride ate a lot of crawfish interestingly enough, and sizes there were inconsistent depending on the batch. The restaurant was extremely noisy, which makes sense given the number of people there. I could hardly hear the people across the table from me. This place is cleaner than most buffets I've been to, which is a huge plus. $17.99 is reasonable for weekend dinner. If i lived closer to this side of town, I would be back whenever I was in the mood for AYCE.

Highly recommend for seafood & sushi/sashimi lovers with healthy appetite! Their foods are fresh & tasty. You can find varieties of salmon, crabs, shrimp, crawfish, fish, octopus. The sashimi & sushi are legit, unlike some other buffet-style Japanese places. They have the common Chinese food items that are fresh & tasty. The deserts were great, the fruits were fresh & sweet. They have plenty options for picky eaters too - nuggets, pizza, ribs, fried chicken. It's a huge place, with dark modern Asian-inspired decor. The staff are friendly & attentive. The price of $17.99 per adult is reasonable for the quality & variety. Seniors get 10% discount. Highly recommend, but come hungry!

They also have bar seating inside, regular chairs/table seating, and chair with a half booth seating. We were welcome by many of the staff immediately when we entered. Very welcoming. They have sweet tea! I love sweet tea. :) My Friend had a Bloody Mary. They had a $5 special for drinks. We split the Buffalo shrimp and the Gulf Wedge salad. The Buffalo shrimp (8 to an order) came with celery and ranch for dipping. They were just like I remembered years ago from the Richmond location. I'm not usually a Buffalo sauce type person, but their shrimp with their sauce is the bomb! The shrimp are large, so the entree is great for splitting. The Gulf Wedge has crab meat, bacon, grape tomatoes, and a hardboiled egg. It also comes with red onion and blue cheese crumbs, but I do not like either of those, so I had those removed from my half. I also prefer ranch dressing instead of blue cheese dressing. The salad was a great addition to our shrimp. Very tasty and filling. Nick was happy to make the substitutions for me. Many restaurants have an issue with splitting dishes. I was happy RC, via Nick, did this for us. For these reasons, Nick made out with a 25% tip. I am always a 20% tipper, but good service will get you even more. Thanks, Nick! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, and we will not only be back, but we will tell others to go see you!

The required valet was a real turn-off as this isn't in the Heights or downtown where space is limited. If the food was better, I wouldn't mind if it was $8 regardless of time or location. But alas... The HRW menu allowed a nice selection of two items for lunch main course plus a dessert. So we ended up with 6 different courses amongst the 3 of us. The crab and shrimp seafood gumbo had one shrimp and one crab stick. The roux seemed burnt so this got a 1/5 review. The chicken Milanese got the same 1/5. The fried shrimp po boy had 2 shrimp and got a 3/5 review. Shaved Brussel sprout salad received similar 3/5. I tried the prime rib french dip (4/5) and the barbacoa puffy taco (3.5/5) so I fared the best of the group. I get that this was a sampling because we got to choose two, but one shrimp? For dessert, the chocolate mousse seemed ok, but I got the Cracker Jack sundae (1/5) which was just vanilla ice cream with Cracker Jack popcorn thrown on it. Very unimpressed. Service was good (5/5) and bathrooms were spacious and clean. Would I return? Maybe to try the brunch menu but not the standard one.

The deviled eggs make good comfort food and was satisfying. This version doesn't have much of a kick, but it's very creamy and you can definitely taste the truffle oil. The homemade potato chips also add to the texture and salt between bites. The shrimp dish was fun with a light and crispy batter, well-seasoned and drizzled with sweet chili sauce. The cool ranch surprisingly added to the shrimp and enhanced the chili sauce rather than overwhelming it. The made-in-house fries were far better than expected. I was somewhat expecting dense, oily, boring fries, but these were very crisp and somehow didn't feel too greasy as far as fries goes. Almost seemed like an injustice for it to be served with ketchup as it was too good for it. Lastly, the tart was a great way to end the meal without it being too much. Loved the crust. The tart shell tasted really good and went well with the filling, which had a lighter consistency than pudding. Fruits tasted like they were on season, even though it should be a bit too late for strawberries. I'm also a sucker for meringue. I'll have to come back to see if it wasn't a fluke, but there were a lot of dishes here that looked good. Maybe even swing by for happy hour, we'll see.
