I recently had a concern with my heating system exhaust system. Another company come by for my annual service and told me the flue wasn't installed properly it could leak carbon monoxide into my home. They said it be $10,000 to fix! I was very upset as they had serviced my system twice before. Plus, I am a VIP Member of this company. Typical bait and switch! I called Eagle Air and it was the best thing I could have done!!! When my family and I were finally able to purchase our first home (after 10 years of marriage), we were so excited. Unfortunately, we didn't know the lowest bidder was chosen as the subcontractor for the HVAC system. Coming home one day my heart sank, as I saw water damage in the walls. It seemed to be coming from my attic. Long story short, the evaporator coil & drip pan were installed incorrectly, causing water condensation to build, damage the unit, and overflow. After months of waiting for a fix, I thought this trial was finally over. Nope. The technician who came over to repair the unit intentionally cut a hole in the evaporator and left zone control wires disconnected. My wife had a strange feeling about the technician to begin with. Seems like her gut feeling was right. I've contacted the Contractors State Licensing Board and filed a complaint. As someone who manages construction sites for a living, I've seen some crazy things, but never something this sinister. Advice: STAY FAR AWAY! Also, shame on builders of new construction homes ,William Lyons (now Taylor Morrison), for choosing the lowest bidder in favor of profits over quality. read more

They came out because of a slight noise coming from the bathroom vent. Ron was the technician that came to check it out. He quickly found the solution and immediately fixed the problem. I asked him about other things I noticed and it turns out I just had to hose down the compressor. This company seems to be used as the lowest bidder for new home developments. Not only are they the lowest bidder they also have horrible customer service. I am a military member that took leave in order to be home for an appointment and they just called and left a message saying they were rescheduling for the next day. I waited around all day the second day and no one showed up. I called them and left a message saying Friday is okay if they will come. I called this morning to see what was going on and they said they are currently in a different location and need to reschedule again. Very disappointed especially since they are who I have to deal with whenever I have an ac or heating issue no, because they are who the warranty for the new house is through. Cooling/Heating on our HVAC had quit over holiday, in new development area. They were prompt in getting in back in contact with me on the next business day. As Fred of Eagle Air was already in area, he was able to stop by to look over our HVAC. Fred was able to quickly identify the problem was with the water safety sensor not being level, which was causing the sensor to trip. He was able to both quickly adjust it, and also explain it what had happened and why. As well as what I, as the homeowner, should look for in future. Very satisfied. read more

Great customer service - they helped me out during a heat wave and treated me as if I was their only customer.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Our A/C unit completely s*** the bed. Of course this happened during a San Diego heat wave. To make matters worse I have a dog and pregnant wife at home overhearing all day. We scheduled a consultation Monday and they gave us a window from 1-4 on Friday. My wife and I toughed it out the entire week. Friday rolls by and I call around 3:30pm (spoke to Erica) and asked what time they were planning on showing up since it was pretty close to the end of the window. She was very nice and told me she would call me back to give me a better idea on what time the experts would show up. I gave it about a half hour and didn't receive a call back from her or anyone else. I call back and it goes directly to voice mail. I leave a stern message. I call again a few more times... nothing. Not only did they no show to an appointment that we had scheduled all week during a heat wave but they couldn't even give me a courtesy call to cancel. Erica said she would call back and I received nothing. The most unprofessional business I've ever had to deal with, and they haven't even touched my unit yet. We shall see how that goes... if they ever show up. I don't have a choice but to use them because of the complex I live in however if you have a choice, do not use this company! read more

Worst company I ever had to deal with. Their customer service is beyond horrible. One time I had to take leave for a technician to come out (due to their limited hours), and he ended up being a no show. Very unprofessional. I also never received a call from the office that he wasn't going to show. The lady at the office says she'll call you back when u ask her a question, but she never does. Don't expect them to follow up with you, you have to be proactive and do it yourself. Otherwise, your issue will never be resolved. I don't recommend any new builders to use Eagle Air as their first choice of A/C. read more

I recently purchased a new house. The house came with stamped supply registers. They did not look or sound good. The first time I turned on my AC I can hear the whistling thru the registers. I called Eagle Air and in 2 days they swapped out the stamped registers with a better looking and performing Bar supply register. The technician arrived on time. Got in there and swapped out the registers in no time. The installation was outstanding. Registers were parallel to the wall and caulked in for a clean look. Eagle Air came to my home to perform warranty work on my AC. The job required two trips. The first trip, the technician diagnosed the problem. The second trip, the technicians replaced the faulty part. The technicians were very friendly and did their work in a timely manner. The only issue I have is with their customer service representative, Vanessa. Vanessa comes across as a know it all instead of a person providing customer service. My recommendation for dealing with Vanessa is to not allow her to get a word in other than "Yes sir/ma'am." During my first call with Vanessa, she did most of the speaking and told me "how it was." Second call didn't go the same for her. I controlled the conversation politely yet authoritatively and I received the desired results. read more

Purchased a new home in 2015, which had a Carrier air conditioner installed by Eagle Air. The developer, and this company were still on site, so they responded to a 2016 issue. The unit is still under warranty. Unfortunately, this installer is not a Carrier dealer and did not respond to a warranty request. read more

We had a problem with an annoying noise in the heating duct in one of our rooms. Eagle Air worked with us to find the cause of the problem and fix it in a timely and creative way. Fred, the technician, who worked with us was very customer oriented, took his time to find the cause of the problem and then confer with his colleagues who came up with the solution. Just used Eagle air for the second time and couldn't be happier. Eagle air was recommended by a friend after our previous AC service company said our unit could not be fixed and quoted us $10,000 for new units. Eagle air came out, and in 2 minutes found a short in a wire. 5 minutes later we were up and running. Given the simplicity they didn't charge us and just asked to keep them in mind the next time we needed them, which led to our second use about 6 months later. Needed the systems to be recharged which they did quickly and affordably. The technician was very polite and professional. He never tried to up-sell us on services like the last company. I bought a new home with KB Homes last year, My AC unit went out, I put in a warranty claim with KB Homes. They sent out Eagle Air. The first tech that came initially told me everything would be covered under the warranty. When the parts came in and the new tech came to install, he proceeded to complete the repairs. At some point he had taken pictures and sent them to his company who had emailed them to KB Homes Rep, who called me to tell me that the warranty would NOT cover the damage. They told me I would have to pay $1500. However, I had not known any of this work would not be covered since the tech did not get my permission as soon as he noticed a problem. He left me with new parts, took out my property (broken parts) away and I never got to see them nor was I ever given a chance to investigate what he was saying. I was left with a working AC that I could not operate because they cut the wires when I told them I did not have the money to pay for it. I have tried to put in a home owners insurance claim but so far it is being denied because neither company has provided a report, pictures, invoice, or even let the claims person investigate. They have not responded to her prompts. I would NOT work with such an unprofessional company! read more
