Price is good and the size is decent. I think you could only do better if you pay higher money for specialized gyms.

He tailors each of my workouts so that they not only feel fresh, but also feel like I'm really working out the intended muscle groups. When it came to my nutrition I always thought that lower calories was the key. He taught me about reverse dieting, where I had to really up the calories and gain a little weight so my body could get to a better place. From there I was able to start losing weight in a healthy way and I feel great. The gym he has is always clean and the equipment is well kept. It's a great environment with a really cool music set up to keep you motivated during the harder workouts. I highly recommend Daniel in the Reno/Sparks area. It's well worth it.

I started Kaia 8 months ago a month after my 30th birthday and weighing in at 200 lbs exactly. I…read morejoined for two reasons: first, weight loss; second, I want to be one of those people who loves running. I had a friend who had just finished the Tahoe Trifecta and had just finished Born to Run. I've always hated to run but here was another girl (who was by no means a skinny little thing) and she was kicking butt! So 8 months have passed, I am down 30 lbs, am healthier than I've been in years, and absolutely dread missing a workout! That's right, I find reasons to grab extra classes (do the run Thursday night, grab Juicy on Saturday) and I have even started running on my own on Sundays. I have never been that person; I've always hated working out - sure I've gone through phases of just making myself do it. But last Sunday, I ran 2 miles without even thinking twice (I didn't love it, but I'm obviously getting closer to one of those people who love running). Kaia is a lot about community. Early on, I realized it doesn't matter if you are a skinny 20-something or somebody's grandma, Kaia welcomes you with open arms. Every exercise has a modification and the Koaches can change anything depending on your abilities, level, or injuries. So if you are looking for a lifestyle change, aren't getting enough out of your solo workouts, or aren't sure how you'll fit in to some bootcamp style class, go sign up for your local Kaia - you won't regret it!

I appreciate all the instructors here, they're all very knowledgeable and I have never experienced a bad class. They always do a stretch before and after each class and although they target specific areas throughout they always make sure to cover all areas of your body. It's nice because each class is uniquely different. Helps with not getting stagnant on your workouts. They offer so many classes throughout the day, just about every hour throughout the day from 730am-630pm m-f and 730am-1130 sat/sun. They're open 7 days a week. They offer three levels of classes from beginner to advanced. Their cleaning standards have always been above and beyond. Not only does each individual clean their own station after every workout but the teachers come through and fog all the equipment. At this time it is still required to wear a mask for your workouts. You have your own station and your own equipment throughout class so you never have to share or are too close to anyone else due to having your own reformer to yourself. Since coming here I have noticed a difference in my overall core strength and I have had a lot less issues with any back pain or being out of adjustment! Thanks club Pilates:)

My one hesitation: towel use is inconsistently allowed. My first class back was a full 90-minute traditional class (all 26 postures, twice) with a newer instructor - I used a towel briefly, just for grip during bow pose, and it wasn't an issue at all. In my next two classes, at two different locations, more experienced instructors firmly enforced a strict no-towel policy, citing traditional Bikram purity. What's interesting is that this doesn't match the studio's own history. A 5-star review on this page from about three years ago specifically recommends bringing both a large towel for your mat and a small towel to wipe sweat - and the owner replied directly thanking the reviewer and welcoming them to the community. So towels were clearly fine at one point. The studio also modifies the traditional method in other ways today (music in the 60-minute class, dog yoga), so the current strict enforcement feels selectively applied rather than a consistent, longstanding rule. Worth knowing going in if you sweat heavily or need a towel for grip on certain poses - bring a sweatshirt or wristbands as a workaround, or ask before you book.

Unfortunately, it's just not the vibe I was hoping for. For me, the group classes became a bit too unwieldy. 40+ members during any given session doesn't leave much room for mechanics coaching. Plus, it generally means you're pairing up to complete the prescribed workout since equipment is limited (there are only so many rigs than can fit in a 6500 sq ft space!). In short, Burn is a great place for someone who needs to feel like they belong. Themed workouts, member shout-outs, branded apparel for purchase...all great things for folks who are trying to find "their people." A solid 4/5.
