Second visit to Eagle Gun Range and was very impressed with the customer service both times. I wished I lived closer so I can visit more often. The best indoor gun range in the metroplex in my opinion. I have used BT and TM but did not like their people skills nor range (small, dingy & dark). I enjoyed the fact that I was able to shoot my rifle and pistol in the same lane. That was very helpful to me as a new shooter. Safety was enforced and I appreciated that fact. This service is spectacular. The staff is very friendly and quite knowledgeable. There is a variety of rental guns to choose from.

State of the art indoor facility, always at 72° with twenty-four 25 yd lanes with electronically powered distance controls. Range officers are helpful and personable, while doing their best to keep everyone safe and mindful of rules. The one qualm I have is that they only offer military/police discounts Monday-Thursday. Ammo and targets are reasonably priced and one large paper target is given free; of course you are allowed to bring your own ammo and non-offensive targets. Gun rentals are available. FMJ rifle rounds are allowed. I've been here half a dozen times and will keep going back. Great place to shoot. read more

This is a great facility Range is clean and well lit. Range safety officers are personable, yet they look out for safety issues. I took a class there and the instructors were great. Only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is their policy for bringing children. There are only specific days I can bring my family with me. I understand their desire for safety, yet I want to teach my children on days that are convenient. The other ranges in the area that I have been to do not have this policy. read more

A week before deer rifle season I made the mistake of taking my new rifle here to have it sighted in. The only reason I went here is my other ranges that I go to were closed and I was running out of time. I arrive and after paying etc a guy takes my rifle and explains that they only have a 25 yard range, but he assured me he can sight my rifle in for 100 yards. He sounded very knowledgeable and I trusted him. He leaves with my rifle and literally comes back 5 minutes later with paper target in hand and said "all done". He had fired only 2 rounds, and both holes were in the bullseye area but not dead center. He explained to me that after dialing in the scope for 25 yards, he later adjusted it for 100 yards. Keep in mind, he only fired my rifle twice. It was brand new, never been fired before. Again, I trusted what I was being told, and happily left. Later, I'm at the ranch hunting and a group of hogs come in and I shoot at the biggest hog and totally miss. The next day, another group of hogs come in, same thing, I shoot and miss. When I get back to Fort Worth, I take my rifle to my preferred shooting range that actually has a "rifle" range and paid for a second rifle sight in fee. Turns out, my rifle was not even remotely close to the bullseye. It was about 4 inches left, and 6 inches high off main bullseye. In other words upper left corner of large paper target. I think this range is perfect for pistols etc, but I don't recommend taking a rifle here for a sight in. They should not even offer this service, it's impossible to validate without a true 100 yard shot. read more

Yes my wife and I have been going in for some time now and have had no issues with the staff they are always helpful in every way they are safe so if you have a problem wit that maybe you should find somewhere else to shoot, as for the reloading issue all I can say is that fellow must have got a new RO because every time I go in I pick up my brass and it goes all over the place not just behind me so I have to do a little walking around to get it When I shoot my 357 sig I really need to make sure I get as much back as I can, The RO's will some times pick up strays I miss and bring it too me or they will sweep it up against the wall so I don't have to chase it all over the place I can tell you for sure these guys are reloader friendly and why not reloading allows me to shoot more so it's more money in their teal. I do wish we had some place to do some real training in the area but for a indoor target range these guys are in the top 3 in all of the Dallas area. read more

Wonderful facility - we drive out of our way to visit. Professional, friendly staff - we feel very safe. Clean, comfortable facilities. Nice waiting room if a wait is necessary. A small selection of gun goodies to buy if you're so inclined. We only wish this was closer to home! read more

Best range in the area hands down. I've been about six times, never had a problem with any staff (other than one guy muzzle swiping me when handling a rental). Everyone is friendly and the range is clean and new. The temp is just right and the air is always clean. They have a range officer in the range at all times which is great when you have some new shooters or rule breakers down the line from you. Perfect, perfect, perfect. Wish the price was a little lower, but hey, you get what you pay for. read more

I have been to this ranges a few times over the past few weeks and have been thoroughly satisfied each time. Most recently, I took my brother who was visiting from out of town. I am a newbie to guns who has been shooting for only a few months. My brother is a newer-bie who has never held a handgun before. I was concerned that the ROs would get on our case if we slipped up. There were 3 ROs when we were there. Each of them was very friendly. When we did something we weren't supposed to, one of them politely pointed out what we did incorrectly, showed us how to do it right, and encouraged us to continue having fun. We had a great time. I am going to sign up for one of their memberships next year. They are more expensive than some other ranges but not by much. Their memberships will decrease the cost so long as I go often. More importantly, they are the nearest to my house, indoors, and very professional and courteous. I strongly recommend them. read more

I went in just for some practice shooting. While I was there a few of the range officers (Steve and Gary) offered me some pointers and worked with me, they really helped me zone in and made my shots exponentially more accurate. They didn't have to come over and offer advise but they did and I am so thankful. They went out of their way to teach and help. This place is awesome. The staff was all very nice. They are a little on the strict end but when it comes to firearms and people that are below novice handling firearms I don't blame them one bit! Great service! I've been coming here since I read the positive reviews for this business on Yelp. My wife and I are new to shooting ranges and firearms and they are very accommodating. They are also very professional and the range feels safe as the range officers are vigilantly enforcing the rules. I also took my Texas LTC class here and my instructor Ed was very good. He did a great job emphasizing the importance of safety and ongoing training and I learned a great deal from him. My experience was good at the beginning but Bradley just walked away when called to the warehouse and left me standing. I tried conversation with two other employees and faced a non caring arrogant and rude action and attitude. Staff at this point in time was not helpful or friendly even though I spent good money to join the facility. Interpersonal skills were poor at best. Well, rats. I wanted to be able to give a better review than this but I can't. My wife and I went to Eagle a few weeks ago and had a great time. The RO saw that I was picking up my brass and asked me what I reloaded (9mm, .357, .40). When we were wrapping up he offered to let me use a long handled squeegee to grab my brass that had popped out in front of the lane. I thought that was awesome as it let me recover most of my brass. Had I done a review then it would have been 5 stars, marked and reviewed as being friendly to reloaders. I went in today at lunch and didn't really worry too much about being able to pick up my brass because I expected to squeegee it in again at the end of my session. Whatever fell on me, next to me, behind me etc. at the counter I picked up and stored - the RO was watching me do this, watching me inspect headstamps to make sure I was picking up my own stuff, etc. That's fine.. but it tells me that certainly she knew I was most likely a reloader, right? When I finished up I grabbed a squeegee and as I was about to grab my brass that fell out front the RO stopped me and asked me if I had dropped something. I told her just my reloading brass. She said they she would prefer that I not put anything out in front of the lane. She said she realized there was nobody next to me on either side, etc., but that they don't do that. I mentioned that a couple of weeks ago a RO had both offered and allowed me to do just that, but she wouldn't go there. She did say that if I had told her I reloaded she would have pitched unwanted brass my way and I believed her - I think she would have. I just didn't do that because of my other experience.. didn't think it was necessary. So I felt a bit of a burn there for sure in the wallet. The reason I went back to Eagle was because I knew that I could regain most of my brass. So, on top of my 20 bucks for a range fee, I lost at least that much in brass that was about two feet in front of my shooting bench. Made me pretty upset, but I kept that on the inside. That's a lot of money. I was polite and smiled of course, I'm not going to be a jerk over 20-30 bucks. But I don't know if I'll go back if there is such a different interpretation of the rules depending on which RO you get. I don't want to 'pay' 20 bucks one day, and 50 the next. There have been complaints about Eagle as regards reloaders and I don't know whether to believe all of them or not really, but I just offer my own experience to anybody that might be interested. I had one great experience, and one 'phhhtttt' experience. I guess the real rule is, let the RO know you reload and see if they can help you out. Some will perhaps be better than others so maybe sometimes you'll be okay, and sometimes maybe not. Or, the enforced rules might be even different than the above next time? Don't know. read more

I would have given eagle a 3 star review but they have steadily, gone downhill from the ever rude range master that berates the new people (i can hear it, even with my ear pro) the young tall gent is nice and knowledgeable and the young girls are all friendly and polite, management is rough from the good ol old cowboy manager who has an incessant need to have the last word even if it means lying. *Ammo prices here ehhh. you would be better off going to Bass Pro range and save money on range and ammo *The fees are high compared to bass pro almost twice as high or even 3 times as high if you were to use the Managers mathematical prowess. *Having someone shoot an SBR next to you shooting your .22lr, hey management maybe a plan on caliber arrangement on your range lanes. (I'm all for constructive criticism) *They have rentals $80 for 100 rounds *the waits here can be horrendous, if you have plans 4 hours from the time you get to eagle and sign in, you just might still miss your evening plans. (Hey cowboy, see there, that's called an exaggeration (not a lie, like you like to tell, because I am an honest Man) In all honesty the waits are more like an 40 minutes to an hour by my watch or 20 minutes if you go off the managers, wait make that 27 minutes off the managers. wait ..... Very Nice gun range, very clean and latest technology. Wen't here on Sunday and shared a lane with my friends. Staff was very rude and stuck up. It was my fault made a few minor mistakes. I had unloaded 9 holstered because there was no room on the lane table to hold my gear. Instead of range guys asking me nicely not to have it open carried, he yelled at me and made everyone look over at me. Felt like a real schmuck. We pay these kind of places a lot of money, so it would have been nice for them to come over to me and ask me in private to not have my 9 holstered per range rules. Again my fault I missed the rule for that. But it is still no excuse to be rude to a paying customer. I would not reccomed anyone visit here unless you don't mind a bunch of jerk offs with big egos and bad customer service. I've noticed a lot of gun shops that you go to the owners and employees have attitudes, this is not how you get people to come back to your business. I think it's time we as consumers start to boycott places like this so they treat their customers with respect. The best experince I've had thus far was with Cabella's, they cost sometimes more money but exceptional customer service on every transaction. read more

John controlled the class and made sure the class was interactive.John kept the questions to the topic and kept the class under control. John threw in a lot of safety tips. This was my very first time shooting. I was a nervous wreck, even with my boyfriend with me. I think mostly because of the noise. After a few rounds of watching, Justin came up and was so helpful. He gave me so many pointers and really made me feel at ease.Such a friendly and knowledgable staff. Would definitely recommend, and I will go back now that I got my first time jitters out. I'm a total beginner and I've only been to a few ranges, but I really liked this one. It's kind of a drive for me coming from Dallas, but worth it. Really clean facility, and super nice staff. They were really helpful and gave me a few pointers, which helped my technique. I was signed up for my CHL class the following day and the guy monitoring the range gave me some good information on the range qualification. As a regular shooter Eagle Gun Range is the best shooting indoor range that i have ever been. Compare to local gun ranges in Dallas Metro. The Facility is clean, organize, friendly enviroment, Range officers are professionally very helpful to all your needs and for the price the facility charge no one else can't beat. If you have plan to take your CHL class i do recommend this will be a very good place to go. Went there for my first time today. Loved it. Every single worker was very nice and professional, including the range officers. It was a very controlled and safe environment. The range officers were there to help and keep it safe but in no way did I feel like they were hovering over me. Their rental gun selection is incredible and they only charge $5 per gun. Sure you have to use their ammo but their prices are very reasonable. read more
