The first time, I called for a same-day appointment and they were able to book me right away. When I arrived, I was checked in immediately and seen at my appointment time. For my second visit, the experience was just as great. I checked in and they started working on my nails as soon as I arrived. Both times, Judy has been excellent. She took the time to explain what would be best for my nails since I wanted to take a break from acrylics. The rest of the staff is also super friendly and welcoming. The salon has such a calm and peaceful atmosphere, and they never make you feel uncomfortable like some other nail salons where it feels like they're talking about you. They also offer 10% off Gel-X on Wednesdays, and they have Wi-Fi, which is super convenient!

She asked for a full set of acrylic nails but the owner told her that her nail beds were too small and she recommended gel. (Of course she did because they cost more). Nails done and my niece pics a color. Her nail tech (who is the owner) shows her the chrome look.....which is an overlay of powder which changes the look of the original colors. Mind you she never says how much more it will cost. My niece likes it but has no idea of an additional cost. So now it's time to pay.....my niece was charged $120.00 for a basic gel set (no designs or jewels) and a chrome finish. When my niece asked for a breakdown she was quoted $60 for the set and $50.00 for chrome !!! I could not believe it. I have been in the nail game for YEARS! I have had chrome many times and I have never paid more than $10 extra. For those of you who aren't familiar with chrome it is similar to eye shadow and it is also applied to the nail using an eyeshadow sponge applicator. It's a powder that is rubbed on the nail and it changes and enhances the color. There is always an extra charge for "extras", but $50 for chrome is a fricken RIP OFF! I had my nails done yesterday with one of the best on the island. When I told him about this he was absolutely floored!!! He could not believe someone charged $50 for chrome! I have gone to place of perfection twice......this place is the closest to my home. It was a nice clean place but the owner if too "extra" . My sister (the mother of my niece) loves this place so several years later I gave it another try. Didn't like it and I've never gone back. So when my niece told me and showed me her nails I was very upset. Her nails were thick and the shape was very inconsistent.....and the owner was the one who did it! Although her nails weren't that great, the fact that she was charged $50 for chrome AND the price was not quoted to her BEFORE it was done was what really pissed me off. If my niece didn't fly out that same night I would have gone back with her and demanded a refund. It's absolutely wrong to not inform the customer of what an extra service will cost before doing it. SHAME ON YOU (THE OWNER) for not quoting the cost but more so for grossly overcharging for it. Beware people....:not everyone is honest and sincere as they pretend to be.

Before this happened, I had made my same day appointment about 2 hours before and when I showed up, the electricity was out and they said they couldn't provide the service (all of Kaneohe was out that day so no big deal). I was slightly annoyed that they didn't call to let me know but it's fine. They said they would call if power went back up but I know it took forever to come back on. They called me the next morning and said they could take me right away and apologized for the inconvenience with the electricity. I gladly took the opportunity and headed to their salon only to find out that they didn't even do the service I requested. I'm giving 2 stars because she was very nice about it, she wasn't annoyed and was apologetic. I just wish they were honest from the beginning.

On June 10,2024, at approximately 4 PM, I visited Eagle Nails where BRAIN served as my nail technician. I specifically requested pink acrylic nail powder for a French tip look, emphasizing durability. However, Rayan convinced me to opt for gel nail polish and regular powder instead. Unfortunately, just three days later, my nail polish began to chip. Additionally, I was charged an extra $28 contrary to the initial pricing information I received ($35 for acrylic and $10 for gel paint). Upon contacting Eagle Nails to rectify the situation, I encountered reluctance from their staff to address my concerns promptly. This experience has been particularly inconvenient, especially during my vacation, as correcting this issue requires significant time and effort. I caution others to exercise caution when visiting this nail salons, as there may be a tendency to overcharge tourists. read more

Took my wife here after seeing their grand opening advertisement. This place is beautiful and the employees are very friendly. Frankie at the front desk did a fantastic job taking care of the customers. The luxury pedicure was absolutely amazing and relaxing. My wife was super satisfied about their wide selections of gel polish and definitely recommend everyone to get their nails done here. I would rate them 10 stars if it was possible. Since this was decided overnight we didn't give them any warning. But they took it in stride. There were three customers there when 5 of us arrived between 9-9:30. There were four girlies getting pedicures, one set of acrylic nails and one gel manicure. We all walked out the door around 11:30am. I think this is spectacular timing which included a few other customers entering for services who weren't turned away and thrown right into the rotation. Personally I got my gel off and regular nail polish on my nails. A week later and they are still looking good. No chips! Everything I encountered was clean and sanitary. They also lent us a cart so we could set out some breakfast treats for our little party. I recommend this gem of a business and maybe we will give them a heads up next time!

There were just a few things that made it more of an OK experience for me. First thing is that they have a sign to "request to see the price menu". It's not like the pedicure was extremely expensive or anything, I just think that folks should be able to know beforehand what the service they are receiving costs. The other thing is that they had asked multiple times if we wanted to get manicures. I didn't mind the first time, but after declining multiple times it got awkward.
