I have been looking for a good nail spot Windward side and really wanted to love this place. They have great customer service, very kind people, everything was clean and decently priced. I got the spa pedicure and dip manicure. The polish on my big toe chipped after 2 days and unfortunately the tips of 6/10 fingernails are already chipping after 6 days. I keep my nails pretty short so there really is no reason it should be chipping this soon. This is my second time coming to Eagle nails. Absolutely love them! I was helped the first time by Frankie and loved my full set. I got a simple coffin shape, but like mine a little shorter and wider than most. Came back this time for a fill and to fix 2 nails that broke also with Frankie. Only losing 2 nails in the last 5 weeks is a win for me as I have a very active toddler I chase around. Definitely recommend giving them a try! Absolutely appalled by my experience. I thought last time was a 1 time fluke and gave them a 2nd chance, and now my nails have paid for it. They took me 35 minutes after my appointment time constantly asking what I needed. I had to repeat myself 3 times to 3 different people, and only on the 3rd individual I received service. I came in for an acrylic removal and manicure. I've had acrylics before and have never been in so much pain getting my nails done. She took the tip that they apply to acrylic nails and used that to take off my current acrylics by wedging it in between my actual nail and the acrylic, slowly peeling the acrylic nail off mine. She made me bleed on 2 nails, one of which was my thumb in the photo. They used to be amazing back when they first opened. I received great service, but the past 2 times I've visited, it's been a nightmare. Both times, I've been left to bleed. I will not be returning again. It's truly a shame to see such an amazing place go so far downhill. I hope they don't cause anyone else this harm. read more

First time going here, and I really wanted to have a good experience but unfortunately the guy that did my nails did not leave me with a good first impression. I only came in for a simple fill. But he was rude, rough, and hurt me more than a few times - he drilled my nail bed to the point of burning, also drilled around my cuticle which left a few fingers bleeding. He ripped off 3 of my old nails (acrylics) without warning - and the way he did it was so sore! The only good thing about my nails is that my acrylics came out nice and thin. It almost looks real/natural. I see a lot of reviews that praise this particular nail guy, but maybe I just got him on a bad day. I hate leaving bad reviews, but my experience was horrible. And to top it off, their credit card machine doesn't add tips... (there is no sign saying they only accept cash for tips!).... so I couldn't even give the guy anything even if I wanted to. read more

My last experience was not what I expected. After getting my nails fixed they turned out great. I wanted to give them another try. I got a dip "manicure" earlier this morning. I was cut three places. I paid for a full manicure. They did not provide the services listed. No cuticle trimming or anything. When I asked for it the man said he already trimmed them. I guess drilling your skin raw is trimming. No location. Or massage either. When I requested them do what was listed I was handed a bottle of lotion. They told me I could use some My manicure chipped 10 hours later. I will not be back. read more

Kelly always does my nails, and she is fantastic. Spectacular attention to detail and gives a great massage. However, I think there is miscommunication when it comes to the schedule. I am unsure who answered the phone to book me, but the past two times I made an appointment, I was waiting to get my nails done. The first time, it was 45 minutes until I was helped, and this time, it was 30 minutes. I have a tight personal schedule, and I'd like to know that I can come here to relax and not worry about running behind on my other obligations. read more

Very very disappointed that I got in the chair at 2:08 despite having made an appointment on line 2 days ago for 1:30 and the WALK IN IS BEING WORKED ON BEFORE ME! I'm going on a trip and time is very very precious right now. Some of the staff are very nice but they are obviously understaffed and the walk in is now asking for not only a pedicure but a manicure AND A FLOWER ETC ETC ETC ETC ETC ETC. Guess I will downgrade from deluxe to basic pedicure now...IF THEY EVEN GET TO ME! it is 2:22 and they are finally taking off my nail polish. I knew Saturday would be problematic which is why I made the appointment ahead of time. I'm getting my calluses removed for an extra $5. I say some of the staff is nice because the first time I came I met a lovely woman named Kelly. This time is the same rather unsmiling woman as last time but I think she is good at heart, she cracked a smile just now, I think she is just harried...maybe the owner's wife? I've been here about 4 times, not anything special. Just happened be in the shopping center today and decided to get a badly needed basic manicure and pedicure. The salon was not busy but there were a few patrons. A woman who seemed to be in charge came to the front. I did not say "greeted" me because she did not. She seemed preoccupied or in a bad mood? Like mumbling something like "go over there!" So, this unwelcoming feeling permeates throughout the course of the service. Curt, unfriendly, uninterested, rude actually. "What Eva h...it's up to you!" I was patient and quiet, most of the time until she suggested in a scolding and rude manner that the next time I come to the salon I should wear the right kind of slippers. Wow!! Most salons slip on the floppy slippers while giving your feet time to dry. She criss crossed my sandals to get to the same objective. That's not a problem but at that point I did say nicely that I had not planned on getting my nails done, it was a spur of the moment kind of thing, therefore, I was not wearing the open slippers and that any kind of walk in business might be appreciated. But, no problem, there will not be a next time for me! There are a few things nail salon owners should listen to their customers about. First of all teach your technicians to welcome guests as if they appreciate the business. Secondly, learn to greet your customers and introduce themselves. Then, please don't speak your language between one another as if you're talking about the customer. Whether you are or not, it's just not polite. It's like whispering in front of others. Return customers are your mainstay, I no longer will be one of them. Interestingly enough the technician was not clueless once she realized that she had ruffled my feathers. The patron next to me also agreed that this person was totally rude. She began to chill out, finally making suggestions and showing attention to her job. She realized that I was unhappy. Too late. I don't need to spend $50 plus for a bad time. I've never done this, but zero tip. No service, no tip. Don't want to do what you're doing? Do something else but don't take my money, there's many other customer service oriented businesses out there who appreciate their returning customers. 1 star only because they are located in a convenient part of town. After that, todays experience leads me to think that businesses or workers like this don't understand that there are many choices in our town, even if it's a small community. Too bad. read more

I did not want to go back until my nails had grown out to a length I was happy with, so in the end it was only discounted. However, I really appreciate that they tried to make things right and my new set was awesome. Very rude. I try not to assume but it was blatant they had very little tolerance for people of color. of course this affects less than 1% of the island. But I'll warn that one percent. My nails are bulky and the service was UNCOMFORTABLE. They often spoke in an angry tone in their mother tongue, which wouldn't usually bother me but it was obvious they were upset my entire service. I got a full set with gel and pedicure. I will never return. I was polite and even apologized for THEIR behavior. Again I'm sure this will only be the experience of the 1%. And I wish no company any ill will. Very disappointed, dissatisfied, and honestly uncomfortable. Side note. If the nails were good I would've taken the bad service on the chin. But bulky nails.... I used to come in and see "Lynn" all the time but I think she moved to Kahala but I make sure to see "Na" all the time because she's amazing!!! I thought she had quit because when I called they said she wasn't working anymore and I was devastated but I'm currently getting work done by her now and she just did the most perfect job removing that horrific pedicure job done at the mall.
