It's double meat, i missed that but it was super juicy Loco moco is nothing like the traditional Hawaiian dish but still very good Fish was so crunch and juicy. Definitely coming back for that I didn't try the bison burger but several in the party enjoyed, one said needed salt The lumberjack tacos were reallllly good!! There was a little too much bread and less bacon/cheese for the combo but the tomato soup was so rich a delicious Cajun fries had way too much sour, assuming there was a lot of lemon in the seasoning, won't try again Bao was good. The kids loved. I've had better Candied bacon came out cold but still good but would have been better hot. Had a variety of desserts. Top pics for us was, cookies, s'mores brownie, cheesecake.

today was our third time eating at this location. the first 2 times were excellent. but this time…read moreservice was absolutely horrid. the tikka masala meatballs were dry and not good and the peach burrata salad was wet. the peaches were mushy and the greens were swimming in juice and dressing and the peaches had no flavor. my husband got blackened shrimp tacos and the tacos were good but the rice was dry and tasteless and the beans weren't seasoned. he asked for avocado which is 2.75 extra no problem. expensive but fine. dish comes out. no avocado. was charged for it though. my daughter got miso chicken and the chicken was good but again the rice was dry and flavorless. over $100 for dinner and it wasn't good. also wasn't a peaceful meal but that's not the restaurants fault that the table beside us had 5 kids and 3 ladies and the kids were running around and horse playing and even knocked the chairs over and not once did an adult say anything to them or even get up and pick up the chair. I will say that lazy dog management team Chris reached out almost immediately to address the issues that were had and make it right. customer service does go a long way. we will def be back. hopefully today was just a fluke

We had a surprise party set up for a friend of ours, so we had about 30 people including kids…read more Alexis our server did an excellent job on keeping track of our orders despite the amount of people. The wait time was as expected for that amount of people to come in. I had the fire roasted salmon and I loved it. It was a great contrast of differing textures and flavors. It was a lot better than I expected. The portion for me was perfect, I was full and satisfied by the end of it. They do an excellent job in trying to accommodate everyone and they made an effort to regularly check in. This place has that woody, western vibe to it. Definitely a little pricey on certain menu items but aside from that a good time overall.

The evening started out great, but quickly went downhill. Our server, Lexus was polite, friendly,…read morehelpful, energetic and very pleasant. She took our drink orders, food orders and then everything seemed to fall apart. She returned several times, but mentioned that she was tied up handling several large drink orders and that was the last we saw of her. The food was delivered by other servers. As you can see, the fried catfish fillets were burnt on the outside, but the fish was undercooked inside and had raw (uncooked) portions inside. Not a pleasant surprise. We later learned that Lexus had left for the day and we were left on our own, so to speak. No drink refills for the nearly three hours we were there. Finally, we had to get up and find someone to help us and get our checks. When I was able to pay I requested a receipt, which I never received. Lastly, when we were leaving, someone was mopping the walkway and left puddles of water in the walk, which posed a slip hazard for our group of elderly individuals. When we told a server about the water in the walkway, she told us that she knew it was wet, because she just mopped it. Not an answer you want to hear. All in all, a very unimpressive experience.

I brought my friend to Messina Hof Harvest Green Winery & Kitchen to celebrate his 34th birthday…read more He asked me to create a wine tasting event for him. I quickly searched on Google and found several options. Messina Hof grabbed my attention. First, it's out in the country, not in the busy Houston region. Second, it has food to pair with wine. Third, I love driving to Richmond Texas. I thought this city has a lot of charms. So, I made a reservation online. While that was not a requirement, but I would like to be reminded. We arrived at the restaurant late because I under estimated the traffic from Southwest Houston. My reservation was moved with my request, nice. The parking lot is huge and wheelchair accessible spots are on both sides of the entrance. We were one of 2 parties at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The wait staff was very cordial. She introduced us the wine tasting menu: White Wine, Red Wine, Mixed Wines, Premium, Library and Sweet Wines. My friend likes to try their sweet collection, $28. I don't drink. So, I just looked at him enjoying the wines. It started with something weak to something strong like a Port and ended with something delicious that he really liked. Each pour is 3 oz, except 1 oz of port due to high alcohol content. We bought a bottle of Orange Muscat Mistella, $25. I don't think we can find this elsewhere for this price. For people like me who don't drink, I asked for a glass of sparkling red grape juice. We also paired our drinks with a wood-fired pizza and I ordered a Burrata Salad. They are quite delightful. I was surprised as the wines are travelled from Bryan/College Station and Fredericksburg of Texas. Umm... So, this huge facility doesn't produce wines. Although, there is a grapevines out on the front. As we've been told that those grape trees will produce grapes next year. The only winery tour is at those 2 locations. There is nothing to see here. Hehe. We swore to come back with friends and family again.

This restaurant is a hit or miss, with the recent visits being just okay. Kind of unfortunate,…read moregiven the fact that the restaurant is actually very nice with a very cool patio. I'll start by saying that the food is mid. Some items are better than others. Starters: Mama Rosa meatballs - 7/10 - flavorful and rich Spinach dip - 5/10 - just okay Baked goat cheese - 5/10 - okay Fritto Misto - 7/10 - tasty They recently changed their menu and took away the lunch menu, which I actually enjoyed. Mains: Roasted Chicken Gnocchi- 7/10 - this was my go-to entree, but the last 2 times it has not been good. The last time I went the chicken was shredded and tasted off. Chicken Parmesan - 6/10 - just okay, pretty bland Spinach Bacon Alfredo - 7/10 - again, not bad and not great Pizza - I hate to say this, but they have some of the worst pizza. We have tried the pepperoni, the Douglas, the fig and pig, and they were all bad. Reminds me of school cafeteria pizza. Overall, this place could really be a hit, but the food is just mid and it seems to be getting worse every time I go. Service is the same, sometimes terrible and our waiter is nowhere to be found, and sometimes good. I do enjoy their wine. Their Sparkling Almond is amazing! They have some other great wines too. All of their Premium Dry Reds are great! and I also love their semi-sweets. So maybe just go for their wines and skip the food.

When I walked in, I remember the bar mgr went around with concern and he handed me water after water, they offered chips and salsa, the chips were fresh made and perfect texture and warm.
