They do not serve hotdogs I repeat - they do not serve hot dogs!…read more They serve much more than that. I came here for an event and was surprised at how good and fresh the food was. The staff was so attentive and knowledgeable on all the foods. It's American food, but they do a lot of fusion, so there was something for everyone. My favorite of the night was the loco moco fried rice and the lemon cheesecake! The cheesecake was zesty and not overly sweet, which I appreciated because it let me taste all the distinct flavors going on. The curry chicken salad with chickpeas I know my husband would've loved, I ate it for him lol. I don't know what it was but the bottom of it had a dressing that made it very delectable. I was on the outside on the patio that had a large fireplace and it was so cozy, I can imagine it being very inviting during winter time. Even though I drove from Cypress to Richmond, it was worth the drive. The general manager was super friendly and I learned they have a Cypress location so you know where I'll be going!

This was a very disappointing experience tonight, which is interesting because last time I came…read morehere it was amazing and over the top quality. First, tonight my family and I came into the restaurant and were not greeted by any hostess or employee for about 7-10 minutes. We understood though because everyone seemed to be in a rush since it was busy. We patiently waited then we were finally seated. Our server took our drink orders first as usual, got us our drinks then walked away. We waited a good while for her to come back since we were wanting to order an appetizer, and that took forever. Once we finally were able to place our appetizer order, it took another 10 minutes for it to come out. Again, we tried our best to be nice since it was busy. Now to the meals.. we put in our order for our dishes and proceeded to wait about 30-35 minutes. There is only 3 of us! Once everyone got their meals we realized it just.. wasn't the best. - My mother ordered a customized pick 3 meal, her roasted chicken sandwich didn't have any roasted chicken, she said it was all lunch meat? And her bread was as hard as a rock. The "truffle fries" that she had to pay extra for didn't have any truffle, when asked about it.. we were informed it was just truffle "oil". What. Lastly, she didn't even receive her soup. They forgot about it. We had to remind them about the forgotten soup for my mother to finally receive it. She said it was not even good. - My mediterranean chicken bowl was..okay, but I did notice that last time I was here I had a good amount of chicken. This time.. I had barely any chicken. We received 0 REFILLS on our drinks, so by the time we ordered dessert we couldn't even finish it since we were so thirsty and the chocolate was so rich. In the end, the rush died down so much where once we sat up to go we were wondering why service was still awful when no one was in the restaurant. The manager did come to apologize, both our server and manager were very nice. They decided to take off the sandwich from our bill and remake the sandwich and soup to go. Once we got home, my mother realized the soup in our to go package was actually the correct soup, and that at the restaurant she has no idea what soup they brought her. Overall, this experience tonight has been awful. We went home thirsty and hungry.

The wait time was as expected for that amount of people to come in. I had the fire roasted salmon and I loved it. It was a great contrast of differing textures and flavors. It was a lot better than I expected. The portion for me was perfect, I was full and satisfied by the end of it. They do an excellent job in trying to accommodate everyone and they made an effort to regularly check in. This place has that woody, western vibe to it. Definitely a little pricey on certain menu items but aside from that a good time overall.

Came here on a weekday at night and didn't have to wait too long. We got the seared ahi tuna,…read morespinach and artichoke dip, smoked gouda burger, and cajun pasta. The ahi tuna wasn't the best. It wasn't fresh and the feta cheese was a bit too overwhelming. As for the spinach and artichoke dip, I felt like it was okay. Didn't really like the tomatoes as it made the dip runny and hinder the taste from the star ingredients of the dish. The smoked gouda burger was the best. The meat was cooked perfectly and the amount for each ingredients were given generously. I also really loved how you really can taste the smokiness from the bite. As for the pasta, I thought that it was good but not the best. It was starting to get a bit heavy with the amount of cheese and I do wish the cajun flavor could be a bit stronger. The chicken was also on the dry side but it's still pretty decent. Overall, this place is okay. Service could've been a bit better since it took a while for us to find someone to help us on our water refill and check.

I thought their Ahi Tuna, vegetarian burger - El Bandito, and truffle fries were fantastic so I was ecstatic to see a location open up in Richmond. I visited this location during their first week of opening and it was a complete disappointment. My Ahi Tuna was overcooked, and the fries were both soft and undercooked. When I brought these issues to the manager on duty, Jose, he responded curtly and dismissively, claiming that they were still in the early stages of operation and that perfection wasn't expected. Since then, I haven't been back. However, yesterday I found myself in the area and my lunch date was craving a burger. So I decided to give them another chance. I ordered their vegetarian burger, El Bandito, and was disappointed to find that the veggie patty was incredibly dry unlike my experience in California. While I really like the avocado slices and basil pesto sauce, the combination of the dry patty and buns left something to be desired. The truffle fries were not undercooked this time, but they were over-seasoned with salt so we could only finish half of the portion. My lunch date ordered the El Diabo and said it was good but very spicy. The staff was friendly and helpful with clearing the tables which was nice but other than that, I think I'll leave this location out of my restaurant rotation list.

We visit this location frequently. This evening, we came in to celebrate my son's birthday. As we…read morealways do, we informed the staff of food allergies in our group, including a severe dairy allergy. This was also clearly noted on the receipt. When the food arrived, we immediately asked whether vegan cheese had been used on my son's burger. The server took the burger to the manager, Mr. Fuentes, who confirmed that it was vegan cheese. After only three bites, my son began showing signs of an allergic reaction. I approached the counter and asked for a slice of vegan cheese. The slice provided was yellow, while the cheese on the burger was white. I pointed out the discrepancy and expressed concern that a mistake had been made. Rather than apologizing, checking on my son, or attempting to correct the situation, the manager melted a slice of vegan cheese to prove the burger had been prepared correctly. The melted vegan cheese remained yellow, confirming my concern. I then mentioned that we also had a to-go order requesting vegan cheese. When the box was opened, it contained the same white cheese. The manager stated he would remake it to show that it would appear the same. Once again, the remade burger came out with yellow cheese. Throughout this interaction, there was no accountability, no apology, and no compassion. Instead, the manager continued to double down. He stated that he has worked for Hopdoddy for nine years and commented that because the restaurant serves many allergens, customers should "use caution" when eating there. This response was deeply concerning, especially given the seriousness of food allergies. I am expecting a follow-up from leadership regarding this incident, including a review of allergy-handling protocols at this location and appropriate corrective action. Food allergies are a serious health risk, and this situation should never occur--especially after allergies are clearly communicated and confirmed.

I asked for a drink recommendation and she gave me two great options. I chose the Tres Cucumber and it was amazing. Refreshing, not too sweet, and perfectly balanced with a clean cucumber flavor. My husband ordered the Old Fashioned, which was also very well done. We shared the fudge brownie for dessert and it was rich, moist, and elevated with just the right hint of espresso. The atmosphere is comfortable and versatile. It works just as well for a date night as it does for a girls night or a casual meet-up with a friend. 10 out of 10. I definitely recommend this spot and will absolutely be back.
