The restaurant was a bit busy but staff had no problem taking my order and letting me know it should be 15 minutes. My partner and I took a seat in the outside area and waited for about an hour before getting our food. The server didn't realize we wanted to dine in but didn't ask when we placed our order. The Italian food was okay and the service wasn't good. The server checked on us a few times and gave us breadsticks and cups with ice about 40 minutes into waiting. Was disappointed when the food finally came and the noodles were not fresh, though the meatballs were. My partners fettuccini alfredo wasn't great because the chicken tasted firm and dry. The outside area was cute, maybe their Brazilian food is better than their italian?

Do you believe in serendipity? I do now after the experience here yesterday. I normally don't write reviews right away , but I'm doing it for this restaurant because the food was just that amazing. So my friends and I were in the area all set to get a burger at Calibur. However, on the way there my friends saw shops they wanted to go into. I waited outside on the phone with my friend. As I was chatting I kept on seeing this restaurant getting a lot of foot traffic, and I mean non-stop foot traffic. I walked close to see what it was , and it looks like a pizza place. I can see they had regular pizza and Detroit pizza, however I took a closer look and they had Brazilian food! It was getting so busy inside, so I went back outside to wait for my friends. We did go to Calibur but when we got there, we noticed they didn't have indoor seating anymore and it was too cold outside as they didn't have heat lamps . So what did we decide on? Let's go back across the street to Mozzarella Di Bufala! They have outdoor seating with heat lamps but they also have a few tables inside. We sat inside and placed our order with them. I didn't want the pizza and as were captivated by their Brazilian food as it's harder to find. I'm glad I'm able to find something that's not a Brazilian steakhouse. This place seems very authentic and homey. We started with the Bolinho de Bacalhau which was the deep fried salted cod croquettes. This has four pieces and was fried to perfection. It was golden brown and the batter was light and crispy. It was packed with the cod fish and came with some dipping sauce. We each ordered the Moqueca de Peixe. This was the fish of the day which was halibut sauteed in coconut milk cilantro, palm oil, green and red peppers, onions and tomatoes. Served with spinach and rice . Since it was my first time having Brazilian food(non steakhouse), I was blown away from this dish. The sauce looks spicy but it's not . I asked for no cilantro and luckily they remembered. Fish was tender and it went so well with the rice which tasted like coconut rice. You can smell the aroma from this dish tables away! Like, you knew it would was coming to your table for all the flavors this dish has. By far this dish itself is worth coming back! We also order the Pao de Queijo, but I think one do their delivery guys took our order. The server was very apologic and gave us a free dessert. We ended up getting the Brazilian flan. If you are a strawberry lover, you must get this because it came with lots of strawberries! Whoever, ate my Pao de Queijo, I hope you're happy, I was saving room for that ! I'll def make sure I'll order this next time . However, I was looking for it for delivery today but I didn't see this dish for delivery. That makes me sad all over again. The servers here were all super sweet! They have amazing service and they seemed so down to earth. As busy as it was, no one seemed stressed. They continued to give everyone the best service with a smile. I loved this place so much I wanted to order the dish again for delivery but I noticed the prices were different. It was a little bit higher for the Moqueca de Peixe online. I think I understand , but I would've totally gave in if they had my pao do Queijo. Overall, we are glad we found this place. Trust in serendipity.

Detroit Pizza with only pepperoni topping

We ordered calamari (good, fresh not frozen) and the Detroit style pizza with just the pepperoni topping ( AMAZING MARINARA sauce). My partner is half Italian and the last time he tasted an amazing marinara was many years ago in east coast. You can taste how fresh the sauce is, not out of a can. I really thought he'd cry and that's how good the sauce was! It was sweet, not sugar sweet and salty, which is probably from the pepperoni. But it was a great combination! This is definitely a hidden gem for Italian food. Service was great. Our server/host was nice and professional. When we came in, there were only 3 tables, tiny space but there were seats outside, a makeshift dining room. Planning to comeback for the spaghetti and meatballs knowing how good their marinara is.

Place was fantastic! We got two pizzas and a plethora of brazilian dishes. The service was great and staff was extremely quick and friendly. 10/10, will be back!

It's a decent pizza place, although we probably wouldn't get the sausage next time. We also ordered the calamari, which was good, and the Moqueca de Camarão (I believe that's what it's called). Although I was expecting it to have some spices, it really just tasted like a watered-down Thai red coconut curry, if you've ever had one. It did have a decent amount of shrimp, but I wouldn't get it again. I'd probably come back if I'm craving pizza or want to try another dish. The place gets super busy, though, and there seems to be limited seating inside, with lots of to-go orders and people coming in and out. I recommend sitting outside since they provide heaters.

I had a craving for pizza and decided to get take out at Mozzarella Di Buffalo Pizzeria. I came here a long time ago but didn't have a opportunity to come back here since. The restaurant and kitchen looked pretty clean. You can see the workers making the pizza from the window from the outside. They offer pizza as well as Brazilian dishes. The service was good. The cashier was very helpful in explaining the menu. He even checked on our order for us. I ordered the Detroit Style Square Pizza withe mushrooms. It had four slices, made the pan pizza style. I was impressed on how much mushrooms were on it with also a finishing touch of marinara sauce on top. The cheese was just enough with the bottom crunchy. It was enough for two people to share. The price was around $21. I would come back again if I am craving some pizza or next time may try their Brazilian food.

Two irresistible slices - one with linguica and the other margherita!

Super reliable, popular, and local pizza stop! This is the size of slice that I'm talking about for this unbeatable price. Everyone we talked to knew of this place. Everyone who saw the pizza asked where I got it from. It was the star attraction! I also love the remodeled look. It's very modern and clean. The employees there were also very nice and well-mannered. Even though I was in the way of the busy restaurant business, they repeatedly were polite and said it was ok. But I found my nook and chat a little with the people there - super friendly! Cool dudes. Overall, left with a good impression and happy tummy with pizza that soaked up some EtOH. That is not how it works, right? Heh. Glad to be a returning customer!

The staff is super friendly. Tough to find Brazilian cuisine, and the fejoada and fish dishes were tasty. Detroit style pizza was also very good. Steak with grilled onions and garlic was also quite good...

Came here at about 7pm, on a rainy night and we were the only customers dining in. The dining area inside is very small, only about three small parties could be seated at a time. Service was also very good, there were a lot of people working for such a tiny place. Garlic Bread: this was super dry and flavorless, would not recommend! Maybe breadsticks are better. Pesto chicken pizza: this was really good, the best thing I had all night. Spaghetti Fresh Clams: The portion of clam/mussels was generous. I thought this was good, but extremely fishy. I regretted ordering it because my pregnant sister couldn't even stand the smell. This also was a different dish than I had pictured (my fault for not reading the description well). I was expecting clams in white wine sauce like I typically get but this had tomatoes and a bunch of other stuff in it as well. Spaghetti and Meatballs: Comes with two large meatballs, I thought this was good as well. Overall, we had a good time with good food! We would probably get pizza here for takeout next time.

Before you've even had any meat, they've got the biggest salad bar you've ever seen with more options than you can imagine. It's a feat in itself to try not to fill yourself up with just sides. They start you off with hot, fresh pao de queijo at your table, they had a chef off to the side making incredible feijoada, and I had a plate full of charcuterie, sauteed vegetables, and fruit...and I hadn't even turned my medallion over to green to start the meat coming! So I was already a happy camper, and then the skewers and the swords came and took me to hog heaven. All the meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. And they really kept it coming. Had to cut them off before my plate overflowed. Each time I thought I had enough, they came out with something new that I HAD to try. I thought I would finish with the rare rib-eye (my favorite), but of course I had to have one more, so I ended on the rack of lamb, which was to die for. Our server, Eder, was charming and wonderful. He really took care of us and made us feel right at home. He told us stories of his trips back home to Brazil which really added to the experience. He told us all about feijoada and how it's made, and was so kind and generous to my two daughters...It's that kind of personal touch that's lacking at restaurants these days. It felt warm and classic, like how service used to be. Many thanks, Eder! An upscale, Vegas-style AYCE experience, right in the heart of SF with fantastic service. What could be better? Everyone was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel taken care of throughout the entire meal. It wasn't just dinner, it felt like an experience. If you're looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion, have an amazing dinner, or simply treat yourself to an incredible meal, I highly recommend Fogo de Chão. We scheduled the delivery for 9:20 a.m., but by 8:40 a.m. the app showed it had already been delivered. The problem? There was no food at our hotel room. I tried contacting the delivery driver by text, but never received a response. It was incredibly frustrating, especially after leaving a generous tip. We later found out the driver had left the food at the hotel but never told the front desk which room it was for, even though they had all of the delivery information. As a result, our food just sat there until we eventually had to go down and get it ourselves. In the end, I paid for a delivery service that I never actually received. Instead of enjoying the convenience we paid for, we had to track down our own order. Based on this experience, I would not recommend paying for delivery. If you're ordering from this restaurant, save your money and pick it up yourself. I paid for a service, but I did not receive what I paid for. Then to make it worse the breakfast sandwich was just OK. Nothing to write home to mom about. To say the least we will not be ordering her again and would not recommend this restaurant.

There's also shelves of imported, Brazilian grocery items on the left wall, which is pretty cool if you're looking for more specialized goods that aren't typically available in your regular grocery store. There's a handful of tables and chairs, but not a lot of seating otherwise. The pão de queijo was still warm in the bag when we picked them up. Their version was too salty and dense for my taste; the pão de queijo of my memories from that spot on Balboa Ave was bouncier and airier than The Brazilian Spot's (they also had fun flavors like guava). I thought the stew would be a soup, but it was a steamed piece of yucca, which was not bad. I learned what it was after ordering it. Matt had been talking about Brazilian steakhouse every time he saw something that reminded him remotely of Fogo de Chao, so I figured this opportunity might be of interest to him. Come to find out that the day after I make the reservation he asks if I'd be willing to go a Brazilian steakhouse for the long weekend, so I got to surprise him with the fact that I already had a reservation. I'm not the biggest fan of Fogo de Chao based on my prior experiences there. I do believe that I have been to a Show de Carnes location before and had another great experience, but also Show de Carnes's Memorial Day promotion was slightly better than Fogo's and I much preferred that their location was outside of the city even if on the other side of the bridge. I did have to call the morning of to delay our reservation slightly, but it was taken care of for us without hassle. We even got seated closer to the original reservation time when we ended up running early. There isn't much space to wait in the front lobby area especially on a packed night, but everything looks very upscale from the wine bottles on the wall to the crystals above the self-serve side buffet. As far as mandatory meats, I have a couple of personal rules when it comes to Brazilian steakhouse, including go light on the sides and only go for the beef. Picanha is my favorite, extra rare too, so I made myself a whole pincanha meat salad while probably giving the guy cutting the meat a good scare. The grilled pineapple is also a must, followed by the cheese and honey. Matt got a lot more variety but it takes a while for the guys to come around with meat that has already been sliced up some so I can get to the parts that I like. We got a papaya cream and passion fruit mousse for dessert, which we probably really didn't need but enjoyed thoroughly as we are both dessert people. As it was a busy night, it was not too easy to flag a server down. I saw picanhas skip our table left and right so I'm not sure there's an established route for them to bring the meat around. The staff did seem to work together with great teamwork, and someone always stopped by to make sure we had more water and our choice of sides. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone that is a protein or all you can eat fan. The regular price per person is definitely steep in my humble opinion, but if you can catch a promo it'll be a great time. Also, don't choose between still or sparkling, ask for tap. I will not be getting got again next time.

Inside, there is only enough room to place your order - the few tables they have are outside in their garden area. I got the peanut butter acai bowl. They also have an assortment of Brazilian pastries that all looked amazing so we got an assortment of savory pastries to try. They brought those out nice and toasted and they were delicious and cheesy on the inside. My acai bowl hit the spot - beautifully arranged with a great ratio of fresh fruit, granola, and chilled creamy acai with the flavor of peanut butter mixed in - it made for a sweet, yet healthy lunch. Would definitely come back.

My party of 3 dined here on a Saturday for a little girls night and snagged a reservation on short notice (just a day prior). Honestly, the experience was underwhelming. We ordered a pao de queijo to start with two entrees to share. The pao de queijo, coming with just three measly balls, was dense, dry, and far from worth the hefty $8 price tag. The pao de queijo at Fogo De Chao is far superior which is not saying much, but at the very least, the famed Brazilian BBQ restaurant chain offers their bread gratis. The two entrees we ordered were the seafood stew and half rotisserie chicken. I'll admit the chicken was wonderfully cooked with every morsel succulent and juicy. But, the bed of rice was a tad too overcooked and the scant vegetables left the cohesive whole disappointing. Again, the seafood stew was underwhelming and the pilaf-esque rice seemed to make up the bulk of the "stew." I'm not sure if I'd dub seafood atop an oz or two of gravy as stew but perhaps stew is a subjective term.

We were there on a Friday afternoon and our bartender Jaques took great care of us making us feel welcomed. We ordered the pao de quiejo, which had a crispy crust and cheese gooey center as well as the beef kibbeh as our appetizers. Both hit the spot just right with our drinks. Will love to come back for a full dinner service as their menu was really fun and even included vegan items.
