Being a Pescetarian husband & wife, and vegan daughter. The first thing we look for are places we can eat and this is one of the recommended place to check and we did. They've got nice reviews that's why we did checked them out. The servings was just right and we love the taste of the fish. Their food are not that salty or bland, for me, perfect because as a person who knows how to cook, the taste means everything. Anyways, being a food truck, the service needs to be quick & precise that's the only downside of this food truck, they don't have that much choices for my vegan daughter. Hopefully in the future they will because we will surely be back here. The price for me are not that bad being in Hawaii but lowering it a little will surely attract more customers. As for its ambiance, we came here twice but both around noon for our lunch that's why we haven't seen it's surroundings at night but looking at it, I may say, they have a nice area. The only negative side of this place are the parking. They don't have that much. We even park by the hotel nearby parking lot for a short time because it's not allowed unless you're checked in at that hotel. I frequently dine here because they only serve vegan eats so I don't have to worry about my food being fried/cooked on the same equipment as other food. My favorite is the fishless tacos (seriously, so good. How?!). My partner likes the pulled porkless with fries (you can get this gluten free!). If you see the snicker bar, treat yourself. Man we were glad and amazed to find a plant based food truck in the cannery mall parking lot on the way to Safeway. You can find some vegan friendly options in Maui but this was a real treat. The service here is great. I wasn't able to catch the young lady's name but she was so patient and kind when answering our questions. There was also a slightly difficult customer before us and we loved the way she had handled the situation. The food here is fantastic. I ordered the fish tacos and the French fries. My sister got their smoothie and a soda. We just love everything here. I'm not vegan and everything I've tried so far tasted amazing. If I did not know that the restaurant was vegan, I honestly wouldnt have guessed. I also love the amount of condiments and HOT SAUCES they have available to enjoy! The food truck has great vegan options! I had the falafel wrap twice. They have an interesting take on falafel where they also have lentils in it. It did not feel like the it was of a good size and soft to bite into- which was great. They were always out of Taro burger, so that's a good sign if you want to have one. Their teriyaki fries were amazing. The substitute ( some version of Seitan, probably) tasted quite good and had a good texture (not chewy). I had a whirl-wind of a time on Maui and earth aloha eats was in a collection of small food trucks near the airport. Everything in town was mostly closed, since it was a Sunday evening. My sister got a Gyro from the gyro truck and I was like "Wow! This vegan place has a competing Gyro. We HAVE to try it!!" My faux-chicken gyro was so fresh and flavorful with an amazing texture, I didn't miss the meat! I really want to fly back to Maui, just to come here and eat again. Best food truck experience EVER & first time eating a vegan meal! We asked for recommendations & the person at the window was friendly and offered advice. She also answered our questions since 4 non-vegans were trying it for the first time. We ordered the Thai Chicken tacos, Pulled Pork Fries & Mozzarella sticks. The food was so flavorful & we didn't miss having meat at all. The fries stayed crispy despite the mounds of vegan pulled pork, coleslaw & 2 different sauces topping them. They were the perfect amount of spicy! Seriously one of the best things I've ever eaten & I could totally switch to vegan pulled pork from now on. The tacos were so full of filling we had to eat with a fork before picking up, which made them very worth the price. Loved the peanut sauce & actual crunchy peanuts too. Again, you would have had no idea you weren't eating chicken. Kids liked the mozz sticks too. We will definitely give them another shot based on aloha. :) ORIGINAL: 3/14/21 My partner and I went to the Kahului location based on a coworker's recommendation and were disappointed. The service was amazing and very friendly, so kudos for that. The BBQ fries were tasty, but the soy curls got to be too much - half the amount of curls would have been good, we picked the fries out and scraped sauce off the curls. My partner is Celiac so we were glad to see gluten-free options, we got the falafel plate and gyro with the gluten-free wrap/tortilla and it was like a stiff dried out stale tortilla, I would have rather just not had the option. The falafel was hard, dry, and flavorless, we threw that plate away after trying 1 falafel. The gyro was edible, aside from the gluten-free wrap, but the flavors were not defined. Would loved to have seen more veggies than fake meat. I always try to be fair and believe in second shots, so I will probably return to try their Buddha bowl since that seems to be their only fake meat-free option. read more
