Really enjoyed this place, great authentic Turkish food with a great location for sitting and working

The place is a solid choice. Tinterior is really nice, with plenty of seating and a relaxed vibe that makes it a good spot to get some work done. It's mostly a place where you walk up and order at the counter, and then they bring the food to your table. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I stopped in and tried the Turkish breakfast, which I'd definitely recommend. It's a little pricey for what you get, but the overall experience makes it worth it. My plate came with eggs, sausage, lots of fresh fruit, walnuts, and a few pieces of bread. The vegetables were crisp and the honey and jam were a nice touch. The menu says Nutella is included, but I got strawberry jam and honey instead. The eggs and sausage were tasty but a bit oily. I still finished everything, but next time I might ask if they can ease up on the oil.

The food here was tasty but a tad small in portion considering the price. Service is quick and friendly. The space is pretty big but definitely gets busy on weekends. So bear in mind when it comes to wait times especially if you are trying to dine in.

I've passed this place so many times and have been wanting to check it out. My friend and I came for lunch one day - super cozy, good for working too. I wanted the Turkish breakfast but didn't think he was interested in a full spread. But I'll be coming back and I'll get it next time! He got the breakfast burrito and really liked it! Said it was very hearty too. I got the smoked salmon omelet and it was no joke! They don't skimp you. Our meal was delicious! Oh and the honey cinnamon latte was so yummy. I also noticed they sell beer and wine - that's dope! Great spot to hang with friends in the evenings.

Decided to swing by East West in Arlington with my boyfriend for breakfast. I ordered an iced matcha honey latte and a smoked salmon omelette. Both were delicious and came out very quickly. My boyfriend just grabbed a bottle of orange juice but he enjoyed his breakfast burrito sandwich. It's a self ordering service however they do bring your food to where you're seated, just not your beverages. The establishment is always a large and open cafe feel with plenty of people studying or doing work at tables. There's plenty of outlets so it's the perfect place to get work done at.

I said to my hubby "We must go here for breakfast" after I met a friend here for breakfast. I love the concept 1) You look at the beautifully photographed menu I have ever seen 2) You pay for your meal 3) They bring it to you. I had the smoked salmon eggs benefit which will be MY DISH when I return. The egg was perfectly runny, the salmon was smokey deliciousness and the potatoes were not overly seasoned to perfection. The service ambiance and price were well balanced. A repeat visit is definitely in my future!

Great service, as the server recommended me their honey cinnamon latte. It is the perfect amount of sweetness. Inside, there's a great atmosphere for working or chatting. Clear they foster a great community space and I will be returning!

Great casual cafe for weekend brunches. They have their entire menu available for brunch - you order at the register and they bring out the food to your table. I got the Turkish tea and chicken kabob. The kabob was delicious and came with couscous, vegetables, and a small yogurt sauce.

Stopped in for a solo lunch after an appointment in the area and loved every bit of it! The interior of East West is cozy and inviting with plenty of space to sit, chat, eat, work. The outdoor area (shown in the photo) is pretty big, with brick patio below and string lights above. I had an iced matcha latte with oat milk and the Buffalo chicken wrap. Everything was delicious. Would return!

I have to say that East West was definitely in one of our have to try books! It was recommended and we had to give it a try. The service was excellent our waiter was super helpful with any questions that we had. The food was something new for my family and we got enough portions for all three adults I was full to my limits! Super yummy!! The only problem we had was that we didn't have sugar for our coffee but I should have just asked for some instead. For parking you will have to look on the street. I look forward to coming back soon!! :)

Across the street from the Clarendon Metro Station is a coffee shop/wine bar called East West Coffee Wine that looks very sterile on the outside. Walk passed the small outdoor patio and into a large space with tables and outlets everywhere. Here's my experience after going for a Wednesday afternoon cup of coffee: 1) Coffee: They have a full coffee menu, including some more unique drinks like honey cinnamon latte. My latte was smooth and tasted good. 2) Space: It's massive with outlets everywhere. There's free password-protected wifi that's easy to access. 3) Service: It's average- not super friendly, but not rude. There's a neon sign inside that reads "Sunup to Sundown." It's all a little cheesy, but if you need a space to work with open tables, head here!

And I remembered that Lyon Hall had all day happy hour including a special on oysters. So we put in a reservation and game. We were promptly seated and it wasn't too busy today. We did a dozen oysters and I ordered the Hangar Steak Frites. The oysters were fresh and delicious and the steak frites were cooked to perfection. I loved how buttery the hand cut fries were. My sister-in-law got the French dip sandwich and she liked it but said the dipping sauce was a salty and she likes salty stuff so her saying it was too salty says a lot. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time and I'll be back.

When I go to French restaurants, I enjoy the quality of fresh bread and soft butter, and this one lived up to the test. So good! I ordered the pork schnitzel sandwich, and I liked the warm and buttery pretzel bun and flavor. It was good food at a good price. My party enjoyed their dishes as well--the presentation looked great, and everyone was pleased. I would come back here for brunch whenever I'm in Arlington.

I told my friend not to be scared of the jam, and she ended up pleasantly surprised. If it's still on the menu, get it before tomato season wraps up. My friend got the soupe à l'oignon and really enjoyed it. We finished by splitting the profiteroles, a solid way to end the meal. This place keeps proving why it's a favorite. Highly recommend.

Cute long and thin restaurant with a gorgeous bar and view into part of the kitchen. It felt relaxed even though they had a good crowd. Attentive, friendly service from our waiter. My eggs benedict satisfied me - prepared just right. The accompanying salad: I always love French salads- they always seem dressed just right and appear so lightly and intentionally constructed. I also ordered the pain perdue French toast. It was light, crisp, tart from the orange and sweet. A very nice accompaniment to the eggs benedict. Wife wasn't feeling the best and so her ordering decision: French onion soup and the pate maison didn't end up being a good decision for her although I tried the pate and enjoyed it. Enjoyable meal.
