This is a great place for a family to stay. Rooms are roomy and clean. Great Location. Just North of North Conway center. Dining is very close and lots of options. It winter now but they have a nice area to grill and sit outside. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Plenty of off steet parking. Year round swimming pool. We love this place. Overall I was happy with booking this place for our overnight. The room was comfortable (the bed was surprisingly comfortable!) And spacious for an adult and a teenager. The room and main hotel area were clean and overall felt safe. The pool area was nice, though due to COVID, pool time has to be reserved (there is a sign up sheet on the desk) and there is a max of 10 people allowed at the pool. It is on an honor system that people arrive and leave when they are supposed to. They had snacks available for sale at the main desk, as well as grab and go breakfast items that you could order ahead of time similar to room service. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The downsides: The bathroom was TINY. I had to maneuver around the door to close it. It was really awkward and uncomfortable. The toilet was also loose and unsteady to sit on (it would tip forward when sitting down) and I was worried it would break. They had a hot tub in the pool area that was out of service, so that was a bummer, but I am sure COVID probably didn't help that. The exterior doesn't look like much, but we felt safe and it was close to town. Overall, though, we would stay here again. It was affordable and clean and relaxing, and we enjoyed it! read more

Worst experience ever! Left after 5 minutes after seeing the dated, dirty, smelly room. The room looked nothing like the pictures. Hotel "manager" was extremely rude and refused any refund. Told me the rooms looked differently because they're independently owned - so who knows the state of the room you'll get. Decent relatively speaking. Has a playground, Indoor Pool and Hot Tub, Game Room. COVID closed some of these amenities however. We stayed in a large suite. 2 Queen beds and TV. Combined to another room with a chair, pull out sofa and ANOTHER TV! TV selection was decent. The only downside was they are suptitable to weird power surges...and the TV had to be reset. But the woman there was extremely pleasant and explained the situation. The sleep was pleasant. The morning was a bit more rough. HORRIBLE water pressure for the shower and temperature issues. The breakfast was "Grab and go" due to Covid. Okay selection...but it was cereal heavy unless you want a dinky muffin. I would give it a second chance once the virus subsides. The pool/Hot Tub game room limits were disappointing but understandable. But the bathroom needs some renovation (VERY small toilet as well)...the bathroom and minor cleanliness is why I didn't add another star. read more

Front desk lady was not properly mannered and was extremely passive aggressive. Rooms weren't cleaned to full extent, bathroom had close to no room and the sink was in a different room. Found a quarter on the ground and that showed the room was not vacuumed; the room also smelt like something died in there. read more

Could use some protein items Overall experience was relaxed but would like to see it in action on a busy day/night after... I would price it around 20-30$ a night because of how basic it is. I was booked into this motel for a job in North Conway. Saw a lot of other motels on the strip just before getting here and thought "oh nice, it's gonna be some dilapidated old place." But man I was wrong. Staff is super nice. Phil is awesome. There's an arcade, pool and billiards room open to guests. It is nestled along a wooded area that is beautiful and the rooms are very nice. Our third night here on a ski vacation with my daughters. Skiing was excellent and location is excellent. Major snow storm today and if this was the last place to stay in NH, I would definitely take a pass. Completely disappointed with the accommodations. Arrived early on day one (Saturday) front desk clerk said our room was not ready. Returned at 4:30pm to find out our room was not cleaned or prepped. The room smelled musty, beds & pillows were not changed, bathroom unclean. No toilet paper, soap in the room. I asked to speak with a supervisor but knowone was available. Person suggested I speak with someone in the morning but it turned out they did not come to work. Lady took my information and concern. They suggested I speak with someone on Monday, but still no supervisor. No room changes, upgrade or rebates- not even someone to speak with hear our concerns. The front desk staff did offer to have our bedding changed on Saturday night. During our three days here, housekeeping were nowhere to be found. No room cleaning etc. Very sad service. We will never return to this Inn! I strongly suggest anyone looking at this place to look elsewhere. Based on what I have observed, this place is poorly supervised and maintained. We travel a lot, and I have never in all my years, experienced anything like this place. Can't wait to get out of this place. read more

Our original trip to ME was canceled because we're MA residents so my husband and I decided to changed our family trip to NH. With only a week and a half to plan, it was easy to book; with less than a week we decided to add another day and the hotel was very accommodating. Price was very reasonable with the space given. We were under the impression breakfast, game room, pool and jacuzzi would be open but due to Covid, only the pool was open the last night we were there; but not a deal breaker for us. Upon entering the property it appeared clean but dated. There were guest sitting at little tables right next to the entrance smoking- so we had to walk through the cloud of smoke to enter. It definitely appeared dated inside but nothing alarming yet. The front desk was nice and checked our party in to 2 rooms side by side. The room, that's where it all falls apart. Both rooms were wet, like beyond damp ever the bed sheets were damp. They smelled like mold and in one room air freshener had been sprayed to cover it up. The carpets were all wet and the furniture in the room look like it had not been replaced since 1980. The smell and mold aside the room was pretty dumpy. We immediately asked for a refund as we could not stay due to having small children and being pregnant. The air quality/ mold in the rooms was a major health concern. It was evident this was not the first time as the front desk had heard this complaint . She immediately called for a young man to bring dehumidifiers to the rooms. It needs more than a dehumidifier, I cannot imagine what is inside those walls. Front desk said she was refunding our money, days passed no refund. I called again and the person I spoke with on the phone was pleasant and said our refund had not been issued but she would do it immediately. Days later nothing, finally filed a dispute with my credit card. We actually ended up chatting with some former staff who told us that management is completely aware of the mold/mildew/ damp issue and does nothing. So many hotels to pick from in North Conway, spend the extra $30 and avoid this one. read more

We stayed there for 2 nights, paid 150 plus. Pros: Close to Storyland. Indoor pool. Cons: Our room,126, smelled musty. The dressers hold extra blankets and sheets, so no room for clothes. The bathroom sink is small and there are no drawers or shelves for toiletries. I sat on the upholstered chair and realized my pants felt wet. My clothes were soaked through and found out the chair cushion was extremely wet with strong smelling stale urine. I was mortified. Afterwards my daughter said her jeans felt wet after sitting on the chair but assumed someone spilled water on it. The chair was removed quickly and we were notified we would receive a discount. Upon leaving we found out the discount was 30 dollars and there was no supervisor available to discuss this with. 30 dollars is not good enough after what I experienced. We will not be back. Got engaged in the white mountains this past summer and stayed here for 2 days. We didn't spend too much time in the room but the time we did spend was pleasant. The woman working the front desk was extremely nice and the room was large. I wish we had a small refrigerator to store our leftovers but it wasn't a big deal. Small arcade, hot tub, billiards, large 5ft pool. I didn't use any of those but they are nice options to have! The free continental breakfast was really nice! Some of the best coffee! This place was a no for me. We paid 140 for "suite" which had two queen beds and sitting room which both were located on first floor and dark and dingy. Pros: close to North Conway and King Pine ski which was our focus. Free tea and cocoa in lobby. Cons: yucky continental breakfast in basement with watery coffee. Yuck. I forgot toothpaste - they didn't have any. The shower featured on the wall pump Breck shampoo (which was empty) and Dial body wash and had the worst water pressure. The room was hot as hell, literally had to open a window!!! Had a musty odor. The place has a pool but we didn't have time to use so no comment on that. Needed a place to stay in North Conway for the night and Motels.com app had this hotel at a great rate. As already mentioned in other reviews, this hotel has an indoor pool, game room, laundry, free continental breakfast in the morning and is located back away from Rt16 so it is very quiet. There is a cross country ski trail access here also. The front desk was very accommodating with any questions or needs that came up (no ATM in the hotel but there is a change machine for game room/ laundry.) Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and it was a good value. read more

We had a great stay here! Got a nice 2 room suite. The room had 2 Queen beds, a Queen pull-out sofa, chairs with a little table, a fridge, sink and microwave, and 2 big screen TV's. We loved the pool and hot tub. Also took advantage of the pool table. And LOVED walking the trails adjacent to the property. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were just lovely. Our family stayed at this "suite." As soon as we walked in to our room, 206, I got hit with a huge puff of bad odor. It was two queen beds and very cramped. The bath room was first on my list of things to check. As soon as I walked in I had noticed that the sink wasn't inside the bath room and the toilet was just a few inches away from the tub. I checked our tub. The flooring of the tub was all peeling and scratched, reveling the green underneath. On the side of the tub there was mold. INSIDE the drain, as soon as I turned on the water some thing got blasted out. It was green, and black, and had looked like there was hair all rapped around it. EW! I got out of the bath room and made my way to the room itself. The room had looked like it was from 1970! I'm writing this at 3:00 am. I refused the to sleep in their beds because there were crumbs and yellow stuff in the covers. *Note: When I came here when I was younger it was way better. FYI: I found out that the rooms are owned my people and those people get a cut of the money when you sleep in them.So I guess you can say that its their fault of my bad experience. I would also like to add that the pool is nice and the breakfast is great but the room was nasty. I don't think I can every come back with out remembering what I saw. read more

My husband and I stayed at Eastern Inn and Suites a few months ago. We left our home and decided to go on a road trip to North Conway, New Hampshire for our 5 year wedding anniversary. We decided on Eastern Inn and Suites frankly because of the reasonably priced rooms, and second the great location. Let me say my husband and I were very impressed and very pleasantly surprised by the Eastern Inn and Suites!! The front desk staff were great. The ladies on that night were super helpful, and very knowledgeable about the local area, extremely friendly and kind. The room had a large king size bed, that was very comfortable. The whole room itself was very spacious, and immaculate. The bathroom was also super clean. The Inn's location could not have been better, you are right in the heart of North Conway, but you are set back from the main road so you feel totally relaxed, very quiet. My husband and I have decided to become VIP members, because honestly we found our place to stay when we go to New Hampshire, which is at least 4 times a year. Overall, AWESOME!! My family stayed at eastern inns Saturday 8/8/15, we came home with bed bug bites!! I never write reviews but this is horrible, I am scared I brought bed bugs home to my house, i will be contacting eastern inns to let them know and hopefully this wont happen to anyone else!!! 8/12/15, I called eastern inns, steve the manager was very nice, apologetic, and said they would take care of the room we stayed in. I was just disappointed that I was not offered a refund for my stay, and I am now also out $40 for bed bug sprays and bed bug fogger that I now have to use at home because we woke up with bites again meaning the bed bugs came home w us, I might have to have an exterminator also if this doesnt clear up. Very upset about this whole situation and what it is going to cost me!!! read more

The room was inexpensive which is why we choose Eastern Inns also it has 2 restaurants located across the street. The room had a smell?? Not a musty smell, smelled similar to men's cologne?? We slept with the window open, it didn't help. $155 per night for 2 queen beds. In the corner of the room we were in the paint was peeling away from the wall, hope that wasn't mold??? The pool was ok a bit cloudy didn't look to clean. The beds are comfortable, bathroom small (not a big deal), ok for a 2 night stay but no longer than that. Front desk staff was friendly, continental breakfast was good, coffee was great not watered down like most hotels that offer coffee. Could use some renovations. read more

Not our first time here, this trip we noticed definite recent upgrade improvements to outside, lobby, and room. We stayed 2 nights, slept well: comfy bed, nice linens and plenty of pillows. Biggest reason to stay here : LOCATION - close to downtown but secluded from traffic and noise. CLEAN - we found it well maintained in both rooms and common areas (I wonder if complainers are looking for a discount- to another reviewer: is it possible your own daughter wet the chair - as you stated : HER pants were wet ??) CAVEAT : reasonably priced AMENITIES are numerous (can't think of anything lacking) - free breakfast in morning and 24/7 free beverage station in lobby, indoor pool/hot tub, spa on property, playground, gym equipment, game room, tv with free videos, washer/dryer, fridge in every room, nice outdoor patio pergola with grill, seating and fire pit post, large private parking lot. Fireplace and couch in lobby. Plenty of towels, Soap, shampoo, lotion provided in room. Kleenex, ice bucket/cups, alarm clock, hangers, luggage rack, paper pad and pen, flatscreen wall tv with remote, wifi with good service. There wasn't an iron in the room but front desk had one to borrow when requested. I May not have noticed everything, sorry if I left anything out. Everything I needed was provided. FRIENDLY STAFF - and COMFORTABLE NH ATMOSPHERE - if you like "formal and stuffy" this isn't the place for you - here you will find New England "homey", plop in the lobby to sit by the fireplace or watch tv and be comfortable that no one will ask you what you're doing. Very minor suggestion - white or navy face cloths would have been nicer than ecru with the other white towels FYI - Did you know they may have rooms for SALE ? Cool. As we always do when we are in the area we stayed here and found that they have been updating their rooms since the last time we were there. They have new furniture, flat screen T.V., kitchenette tile and an electric fireplace/heater. The breakfast has two waffle makers that make the most delicious waffles I have ever made ( then again this was the first time I have ever made waffles). That, along with the other items makes the breakfast filling, but doesn't waste a lot of time. The only drawback on this visit was the "extras"... the pool table is old and the balls get lost within the machine at times so the clerks have to get the key to find them... if they can find the keys that is, if not they will refund your money (which happened to us). The WI-FI was having issues all the time that we were there as well, sometimes working, other times not. I did see an internet company there working on it as we were leaving though. All in all this is still one of the better places to stay if you don't want to spend a whole lot of money or deal with the sort of people who have spent a lot of money at the other places. We only rent the family "suites" and it fits us to a tee, large enough for all of us to be able to do something different at the same time. We enjoy the pool and hot tub as they are always clean and inviting. We love the fact that this place is close enough to N. Conway to be able to walk into town, yet far enough away and set back enough that the stay is quiet read more
