This place is a great place to bring a date... If that's your thing. The lighting says, hey, would you like to spend at least $60! And I answered, absolutely. The server was fantastic and so was the food. I had crab Rangoon and green curry, with a perfectly made Arnold Palmer to wash it all down. Although the curry wasn't really spicy, being their spiciest level, it was still spectacular. I'd come again.

Nice vibes inside. Service was so-so. Food and drinks came out fast. Only lost a star as previous reviews mention small portions and I found it to be true for what we ordered. They give you the smallest serving of rice, I'd say the amount i usually serve to my 5yo at home, think a kids scoop of ice cream. BUT, on the plus side, now I have some curry for lunch tomorrow.

I have also tried the Franklin location and both are EXCELLENT. we were served by Cameron and she treated us like royalty and made our anniversary so special. I can't stress enough how nice it was to feel cared for. All the kudos!! And the food? So so good, the wok edamame was out of this world. Everything about this experience was perfect.

Me and my sister had a great time! Jerrod was our server and he was super helpful and patient. The food was delicious and for the ambience alone it's definitely worth a visit!

Stopped in to Eastern Peak this past Sunday. First time in and a great visit ! Sat at the bar and great service! Started off with the lettuce wraps and then had a couple of sushi rolls the TNT and Ref Dragon both very fresh and flavorful! The place was super clean noticed the health dept scores 98/100 wow!!

The sushi here is soooo delicious! I haven't had 1 bad roll here so if you do visit, try them alll!! They are all good!

Pad Thai - sauceless and bland

Gave up on them a year ago, I decided to give the Eastern Peak takeout another try tonight. I immediately remembered why I stopped eating here. Bland, tasteless, and zero love or care put into the food.... The dumplings were missing, there was no sauce on the pad Thai, no peanuts, and no egg - it was just overcooked noodles and chicken?, Rice box was half filled and overcooked, red curry was meh, sushi was tiny. Never felt more like a restaurant didn't care... at all. Don't trust the pictures on here, what you see is not what you get. Go to one of the 30+ other Thai or sushi options

The Eastern Peak has delicious Asian food - fusion of Thai, Japanese, and Chinese. I tried the Thai food and I was impressed. The fried rice was juicy and flavorful, sometimes at some places, fried rice can be too dry and does not have too much flavor, but it hit the spot here. I got the basil chicken fried rice and every bite was so good. They have a couple of different fried rice options and meats you can select. The Tom Yum fried rice intrigued me so I will have to check that out next time. If you are looking for appetizers for the table, get the Wok edamame (I recommend this over the normal edamame)! The Wok edamame has sesame oil, chili, and garlic, and it made the flavors pop and our whole table really enjoyed it. My friend got chicken teriyaki and rice and I tried a piece and it was pretty good. The side salad and miso soup was refreshing. Service was great and fast and our waitress gave great recommendations. No reservations, but our wait was not bad for a Friday night - 30 minutes. They had a parking lot, but it was packed.

We still feel loyal to our two favorite dishes and tried the 5 Spice Chinese Old Fashioned (pretty great), grateful for getting us in quickly on a busy lunch day nearing the holidays!

In a city where a new restaurant opens every week and prices for great food with great service and ambiance continue to rise it's important to give thanks to special spots that have withstood the test of time. On this give Thanks Thursday I'd like to shout out the staff at The Eastern Peak on Thompson Ln. When I want a meal that consistently hits the spot and never disappoints for a budget friendly price I go here. My favorites are the Thai Fried Rice, Veggie Delight, Tom Kha Soup, Tom Yum Soup and the Titan Roll. They care about providing a great experience for their customers and it shows. Thanks ya'll!

Is this place good for really large parties? Looking to do a birthday dinner with a party of 18-ish...

They have a large outdoor patio that could be used, but the inside does not have separated rooms. Just one open dining room but not very sizable.

Does this place have gluten free options?

Yes they do! Edamame, soup, sushi, rice noodle dishes, etc.

Service is always friendly and quick. I used to think the mild Pad Kra Pao was pretty spicy, but I think they have decreased the spice levels because now it is extremely manageable. They have chili oil and other spices at the table in case you need to add more spice. Recently, I've been loving the red curry. It is packed full of meat, vegetables, and flavor. For the service itself, it's the kind of place where you simply order at the cashier and take a number to your table. They've always been quick to drop off our food. I ordered the Street Dumplings during my last visit and they were fantastic. It's hard to find good soup dumplings in these parts so I'll probably be ordering these as an appetizer every time now. The Chicken Red Curry was also delicious, if a little mild. I just wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often!

The…read morebase of vegetable broth mixed with coconut milk was creamy yet not heavy (with a blend of yellow and red curry spices, according to the menu -- sadly I am not that well versed in curries!). The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the tofu was browned to perfection. The grilled broccoli and cauliflower were snappy and contrasted well with the rest of the ingredients. The dish had a spicy yet tolerable kick to it, but I have a very high threshold for spice and heat (I added chili oil to take it up a notch!). Also, the portion size is BIG. I was very hungry so I had no issues finishing most of it, but it could easily be shared between two adults, especially if you order an appetizer or side. I loved the interior decor, which was simple yet eye catching. The mural encompassing the entire space in particular looked really cool. The place was packed, but the friendly staff were hustling to keep the line moving.

The hardest part about eating at Degthai is beelining to the Tiew Gang Vegan. (BTW, I am not Vegan, yet I LOVE the Tiew Gang Vegan.) They do everything well - the other curries, the standard noodle dishes, the dumplings - and it can be tempting to just go with your regular go-to dish like Pad Thai w/Chicken (BORRRINGG, but they do it well nonetheless.) You've gotta try the Tiew Gang Vegan. It's truly a once-in-a-year of eating out experience finding a dish this incredible. It competes pound-for-pound in the same heavy hitter weight class as the best Pho, Ramen, Jjamppong, or Beef Noodle Soup you've ever had. I've now been to Degthai 10 times, and have gotten the Tiew Gang Vegan the last 5 times in a row.

The Thai Ice Tea was on the sweeter side, but still held the "thai ice tea flavoring" we were hoping for. (I'd say if it was a little less sweet, the flavor would stand out more.) As for the market, there is a nice selection of items from Asia or used in Asian dishes. I also found some interesting snack items, including versions of lays potato chips I have never seen in a US based grocery.
