I'm writing this review about a month later. However, a month ago when I last dined here, I felt like their staff was still working out the kinks. Our waitress forgot the salad my mom ordered and she mistook​ my sashimi for nigiri. The food was worth the confusion, though. One of my usual dishes if they serve it at a restaurant, drunken noodles, tasted delicious here. I also loved the blue mimosa I drank. Finally, the sashimi is one of the best I've had in the Nashville area. That said, it is on the pricier side. Could you find a more hole-in-the-wall place with the same quality of food at a cheaper price? Probably. But if you have the money, it's worth the taste and the posh setting. read more

Really, really bad. Stopped in for dinner after an afternoon movie and ordered Steamed Dumplings, side salads, Edamame, Lettuce Wraps and a TNT Roll. The side salad and Edamame were passable. The Steamed Dumpling were actually cold (as opposed to steamed). The Lettuce Wraps were way too salty and barely edible, we only finished half the serving. The TNT Roll was the most interesting (photo attached). Although it had all the ingredients mentioned in the description (which was describe as spicy), it had no flavor and appeared as though they simply slapped it on a plate. Every thing I ordered was perfectly cooked. This place is magical and I'm so glad I found it! I came here for an early dinner with my gal pals. I ordered the Pinot Grigio which was an epic fail but it was replaced with the pomegranate mojito. This mojito was light on the mint just how I like it. Freshly prepared and the right amount of alcohol. I ordered the gyoza which were traditionally prepared and pan fried. The filling was flavorful and the dipping sauce was spot on. These gyoza sauces are either too sweet or too vinegary but this one was just right. The salmon roll was very simple and I get this at any sushi restaurant I've never been too. I can see the quality of the seafood and how the rolls are made. This sushi is top quality and the roll was expertly prepared. The drunken noodles! Let me tell y'all how fantastic this meal is! Sautéed peppers that are still crisp, slivered onions, sliced mushrooms, and think rice noodles serve as the base. The sauce is spicy and layered with flavor. The chicken was cooked well and definitely not dry which in itself deserves a round of applause because white meat chicken is easily dry. Great food, don't order delivery. Since I found the Eastern Peak, I haven't eaten at a typical Americanized Chinese restaurant. I just can't! This place is such a classy restaurant with delicious food. It's great for date nights and they have a good bar. The service is great too. I've never had an issue when I dine in. I will say do NOT order delivery. I've ordered through Yelp/Grubhub and Uber Eats, and there's something wrong with my order almost every single time. Luckily I've been able to get refunds, but it's still frustrating when something is missing from the order. read more

I haven't been to the other locations, so this review is solely for Thompson Lane. The happy hour special (3-6 pm) is something that definitely hits the spot. Sadly, nothing is out of this world delicious. I've ordered from the regular menu, as well and still nothing struck me as significant. Perhaps I am ordering the wrong items? The three stars is more towards the service. The restaurant hasn't been very full on my visits, yet the service is slow. I need water at least twice a meal, but that was hard to get. We've been looking for a good sushi place to frequent since relocating to Nashville and I think this may be our new spot! Honestly had the best experience at Eastern peak last night for dinner. We went in for an early dinner, around 5, and both were very hungry. We ordered the sampler, which included gyoza, dumplings, crab Rangoon and spring rolls. Perfect app if you want to try multiple things and served with 3 of their specialty sauces. I got the pad Thai, and it's one of my favorites I've have in the city. If you like it on the sweeter side, this one is for you! My fiancé got the cashew nut stir fry, which was also delicious. The portion sizes were great too and I went home with my dinner for tonight! Super attentive waiter and 10/10 experience all around. read more

The miso soup and sushi were both fantastic! Why 4 stars instead of 5? There's two reasons actually. The Pad Thai was talked up so much the first time we went but it ended up being rather mediocre when we came back to try it. Then, the second time we went, we asked for recommendations, the server didn't seem to know the menu super well and ended up making me doubt whether anything was good due to her personal dislike of most things I mentioned on the menu. Heading east on Thompson Lane near Nolensville Road, you would never know this place was there. It is tucked up on a hill next to a 20+ railyard. You drive under this tunnel to go under the railyard and you cannot even see it. Heading west, however it is only slightly more visible. Passing it several times and missing the turn for it, I finally got my revenge, headed in west, found it and went in. It was well worth the stop. I will tell you about my salad, entree, the service and the atmosphere. Entrees come with your choice of miso soup or salad. After opting for the soup, my server suggested the salad. I changed my mind and completely enjoyed the salad. It was a nice surprise. Typical Asian restaurant salads are iceberg lettuce with a nice Asian dressing. This was different. There were mixed greens and other salad offerings. It was fun to eat. Roasted Duck Curry was my choice of an entree. It was very good indeed. The red curry was a fairly typical curry sauce, but there were nice surprises hiding in the bowl. The duck was very tender and had a nice flavor. There was lots of it. This was a duck dish, not a duck flavored dish. Morsels of pineapple were a nice surprise too. Again, my server made a recommendation of fried rice instead of white. This was an excellent idea. The rice was fluffy and light. It was not drowned in soy sauce. You could tell it was lightly fried by its wonderful texture. Service was prompt in taking my order and in bringing my salad and entree. Very nice. The atmosphere was interesting. Even though the place was half full, it was saturated with the chatter of happy diners. Large paper lanterns dominated the center of the dining area. Lighting was subdued, not harsh, nor was it too dark. Just right. While I don't drink alcohol, I noticed a huge bar with lots of liquors and a menu offering several very inviting tropical drinks. Find the place and go there. The price was reasonable, too. read more

Placed an order for delivery at the Thompson Lane location. My order arrived within said time frame but it was the complete wrong order. When I called the location, I was basically told "sorry, looks like your driver took the wrong order" and I was expected to come get my correct order. When I arrived, they then expected me to have returned the wrong order, all packed up like I didn't just go through the entire bag looking for my food. That wrong order was the last thing on my mind after the "service" I received. FYI, Door Dash is unable to refund an order or driver tip once you have paid. Unfortunately, I learned a lesson the hard way. Hopefully their customer service improves for others. I'm excited to find other restaurants to support. read more

I have been to EP many times for lunch and dinner since their first week in business at Thompson Rd. Always been good but now 5* for me. Drunken noodles top any I have had. I suggest pork or tofu. Sort of tucked away from the chaos of Nashville is this cute, yet posh sushi restaurant. The service was great. The restaurant started picking up business once I was well into my meal. The Eastern Peak was a perfect lunch to celebrate my birthday during the workweek. I was impressed by the interior and love the decor. They did a great job of keeping it Asian themed with a modern twist without going over the top. I was tempted by a lot on the menu, and the lunch prices are downright cheap. I couldn't help myself and was openly checking out the sushi that other diners nearby were enjoying, but I decided to stick with Thai and ordered the chicken Thai basil with brown rice. We also had the spring rolls to start and they were so good we ordered a second portion! My Thai basil was delicious and the brown rice was cooked perfectly. I usually pick at the rice and enjoy the entree solo, but I consumed most of it because it was just so complimentary to the dish and the perfect texture. Also, the portions were very large and I ate leftovers the next day very happily. Lunch is a great value for the amount of food that you get.
