I put my car in the shop and they stole about $700 out of car. I filed a police report and the general manager, Michael Groh, came off rude and abrasive to me. He didn't care one bit about the theft or my items. Came to me with an attitude and tried to say he made more money than me, looking down on me. When I asked if he wanted to Compare bank accounts, he got quiet. I felt the guy to be a jerk and a racist with the comments he was making. My car still isn't repaired100% yet they billed my company for all they could. He admitted they still needed to do work to it. The whole family seems to work there. If you take your car to this shop, please take everything out that you don't stolen. Hell, they even stole about $5 of coins and my prescription meds too. Michael had tattoos everywhere and will laugh in your face. One of the most painful experiences in my life and I filed a police report. My truck was brought here after it was stolen by law enforcement. I should up hours later to have it moved to a shop of my choice and they wanted $1500 before they would release it for a storage fee when they had it less than a day. This place is not easy to deal with. They are ripoffs to insurance. Vehicle was there for only 2 days and they charged over $1400. Could not get a straight answer as to why so high on bill. No detail explanation. They dif this since I was not allowing them to handle my vehicle fixed and needed it released to insurance. The complete incompetence collected in one location is astounding. My mom's car was taken there in July. They told State Farm it would be $15,000 to repair it. They came back a couple of months later and said it would require another $5,000 to finish. After a couple more months, they came back and wanted to add another $20,000 on top of the $20,000 already paid to repair a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. State Farm changed it to a total (I hope State Farm sues them). We go there to release it so the State Farm salvage could pick it up. The said they couldn't "find" the car. State Farm took over from there and said they'd handle everything else. Eastex had the car for 5 months, and it seems at this time they successfully duped State Farm out of $20,000 for a car which should have been totaled in the first place. I'm guessing they probably will be trying to snatch storage fees from State Farm as well. read more

I have been really patient with this company and I do not recommend. I have never been in a vehicle claim accident and had to deal with all the problems I have went through with this company. I have no idea how they found me but after a fatal accident someone from the company reached out. After speaking with them I put my trust in the workers fora seedy/accurate repair. My car entered the shop in July once entered I was told that it would take a week and a half. The week and a half turned into 2 weeks, 3 weeks and than an entire month. The worker would get mad because I wanted to speak with him over the phone vs texting and have updates on my car. He would also get mad because he would tell me information like "it's done just needs to be painted" and than the next two days some how I'm waiting on a part after he had just informed me that it was ready for paint. The co worker was very rude and lacked communication and because they send out texts every Tuesday I guess that's the only update your allowed to receive on your vehicle. I then started to work with the manager due to the complications with the worker. The manager helped me and was nice until he no longer wanted to be bothered with me and my car anymore. I complained about my brand new bumper disconnected after 2 weeks from receiving the vehicle and My engine light was also on. They attempted to fix the problems and than after having my car for another week i received it back and after two days my bumper disconnected again and my engine light is back on. Now because I believe they are tired of fixing mistakes or they just don't know how to fix my particular vehicle I was blocked on the managers telephone. Once I called the company the manager basically is saying it's my fault for the damage of my vehicle. Instead of taking responsibility for the pore work performed the customer is the one being blamed. He claims it was tugged on as I explained to him if a vehicle was tugged on underneath we would of felt a tug, heard a crack, snap or something. There's entirely no way a bumper would disconnect from getting caught on something and a sound or movement was not felt or heard. My vehicle has not been driven like that due to a major personal injury which the manager down played and basically made fun of over the phone saying i quote "doesn't matter what your injury is, if you didn't have legs etc" which was beyond a disrespectful and disgusting statement. I have never in my life Dealt with so many problems or disrespect with a car place. I do not recommend to anyone. And I will be passing it on to connected parties through the insurance world. Not only did they have my car all together for a month and a half but my car is still not fixed. My bumper is still disconnected, engine light still on, the paint job is not blending in to the front fenders so it's entirely two noticeable different colors, along with A supposedly new front light that is either not working or dying when it's suppose to be brand new. I have multiple complaints that I was willing to bypass as long as two things could be resolved on my car but after the smart comment about my injury and this horrible experience everyone should know. They took almost two months to do a week job, while I was coming out of pocket for a rental. Full of excuses on why things are taking how ever long. Gave me my car back unfinished, and in some ways worse than the way I gave it to them. Had a rear door collision. The door had to be replaced/painted. I get the car back, driver side door is now missing the lock/unlock button. The replaced door doesn't open. The other door somehow stopped unlocking/locking from the key fob/passenger side lock/unlock button. RUN RUN RUN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I dropped off my vehicle on September 1st, 2021 to Rene who gave me an estimated turn around time of 1 week to have my catalytic converter replaced after being stolen. Unfortunately, this is a trending incident and the part ended up on back order. However, this was not communicated until over a month later when I had to keep calling for an update because the lack of communication was exhausting. I had to reach out to GEICO to force and update to be communicated. November 5, 2021 I was advised that my car would be ready in three days, but did not get a call until December 1, 2021 that my vehicle was ready. I had moved out of town and picked up my car right before closing. I was given a general replacement key because they LOST my dealership key and did not offer to replace it. I also have scratches on the front of my vehicle that is a brand new 2021 that I had just bought in April 2021. The car is loud when I drive and my speakers make noises now on the right side. Today I attempt to start my car and it stopped working completely. If I could rate this place a zero I would. Terrible communication, terrible work, terrible service! I wrecked my car on 11/22/2021 and it was immediately towed to Eastex Collision. The following week I came in to sign a release for my insurance to transport my car to another facility for repairs. Upon arriving Ruben (the tech assigned to my car) convinced me to leave my car there for repairs and ensured a TIMELY repair. I had to repetitively call for updates and ask what was being done as far as repairs. On 7 occasions, I left unreturned messages. I sent unanswered emails to Dustin, the manager, who claims to have never received them. Dustin's voicemail was full the two times I called reception to get ahold of him. I was told on 12/27 that my car would be ready in the following couple days. It was not. It was another 22 days before it was actually ready. I called on 1/7 and pleaded with a man named Wesley who told me he'd call me back or have Dustin call me back before the end of business that day. No one called me back, of course. Last week on Monday I called and was finally able to get ahold of Dustin - who told me my car would be ready last week. Once again - a part was not ordered when I was told it was and instead was ordered 2 days later causing a 2 day delay meaning my car that was supposed to be ready on Friday the 14th was now ready today, Monday the 17th. Upon picking up my car today - I pulled out of the lot and did not even make it to the light .2 miles away and the front passenger tire that they repaired was flat and I was being flagged down by HPD to let me know that I was in danger. I immediately call Dustin 3 times and he does not answer - so I turn around and text him that my tire is flat. He finally answers and tells me to pull up to the air pump for them to inflate it. They refuse to replace this tire that did not even make it a block. They put a patch over a hole in the tire and his exact words were "sorry not sorry" when I asked him why they would not be replacing my $190 tire. He asked me if I paid the $190 for the tire. No sir I did not but MY INSURANCE did and you are obligated as a business manager to ensure that it is in the condition it is SUPPOSED to be in when it is given to me. He stated that since it sat in front of the building for 30 minutes waiting for me to arrive without going flat that it is not their responsibility to repair or replace it but that he'd plug it out of courtesy. Mind you - there was not a nail in it - just a LARGE hole. My rear tire also has a screw in it and they were put on 4 days before it was taken to their shop so I am assuming in the junk yard my car was parked in - it was driven over some screws- hence the issues that ensued. Lastly would the be the complaint of dishonesty. Supposedly my car was taken for TWO alignments. I asked where the alignment shop is - Dustin said 8 miles round trip, which would mean they put AT MINIMUM 16 miles on my truck. Let us not even bother to acknowledge the two test drives I was told that someone went on after each alignment. Realistically they should have put around 20-25 miles on my truck. They only put 7. SEVEN total miles in the FIFTY SEVEN days it took to do $6k in repairs. How did they drive it to alignment shop twice? Did they teleport? They surely did not DRIVE because the odometer would reflect that. This entire experience has been awful and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I am grateful for the work they did - however- my front end is still shaking and pulling to the right as well as the tire with the hole not even .2 miles down the road. 10/10 would not recommend. P.S. They put a tire on my trucks other side that wasn't wrecked WITHOUT informing me first and want me to bring back $100 cash- instead of me just paying for it when I paid for the deductible........that's not suspicious at all. P.S.S. I will have to take Fiona into another shop to have an inspection done because it's rocks so bad when you hit the brakes- and this didn't happen before the wreck. This is the worst collection of human beings that I've ever dealt with professionally. They were attempting to run scams from the moment we got on the phone. When I made it clear that I did not want their collision repairs, they turned ugly. Demanding that I stop taking pictures of MY vehicle and forcing me to leave. As I attempted to get into the golf cart to leave, the employee started it intentionally early causing me to stumble and then parked it on an incline as to make me stumble when I got out. Truly ugly and despicable behavior. When questioned about it, the store manager seemed to not believe me or care. I don't trust these people to watch after a hot wheels car much less my truck. On August 15th My vehicle was towed there due to a minor accident where I was side swiped and rear ended. I went to pick up my vehicle after a few days from the storage lot and was asked by "David" if he could do the repairs & if so my storage fees would be waived. I agreed and he said the paperwork I was signing was to allow the release of my vehicle to the body shop and take it out of the "grave yard" in his words. I had a 2018 accord touring that was not even a year old. I left the information to the insurance company with David to fallow up with the claim to get my vehicle's estimate, but he NEVER CALLED THEM. After contacting him to find out the status of my vehicle AND GETTING NO CALL BACK I WENT TO THE SHOP, he had no clue the claim was denied because he was unconcerned. I asked him to give me an out of pocket quote to change a rear bumper cover and paint my scratched left rear quarter panel which should have cost roughly $1000 to $1500 on the high side. After calling and texting him for WEEKS OVER AND OVER with no answers I popped up on a Saturday and texted him I was outside to let me in. He lied and said he was not there BUT A WORKER OPENED THE DOOR AND HE WAS SITTING AT HIS DESK ! HE'S A LIER AND A CONARTIST !! I told him I NEEDED my car back asap and he stated he would get me an estimate in a day. We were in an accident on 6/11, I didn't hear from anyone from Eastex Collision so I called them on 6/22. Our truck was sitting in their storage lot for 11 days for no reason. They tried to blame the police officer at the scene. Then, all through the process I always had to call them for updates. They don't return calls, barely answer the phone. We finally picked up our truck on 8/27 only to find out the windshield is cracked, the 4-wheel drive won't engage, and the driver's side door lock is broken.
