We loved the location and parking was free on a Sunday evening. Atmosphere was very nice, food was great and service was good. We had the pasta and steak with fries. Only thing we noticed and were not happy about was one of the workers was picking off food from several plates. Before the food is brought to you, there is a guy behind the bar who gives the food to the waiters, and he's the one grabbing food from several ppls plates and eating it right before its served. Not sure if that's normal for some ppl but he seemed to be using the same chop sticks to eat from each plate. read more

We had dinner at this upscale restaurant with a trendy vibe near our hotel in Downtown during our visit to Chattanooga. Great cocktails and carefully prepared food and attentive service. All the food was presented beautifully but the octopus carpaccio unfortunately didn't taste as great as it looked. It tasted flat and lacked flavor. The mushroom pasta was good except hard to eat the whole entree due to richness from pool of butter at the bottom. The rock shrimp pasta was ok but nothing special. Maybe we should've ordered steak. Looked very good as servers repeatedly passed by with it but we had steak the previous evening. Our favorite dishes of the night surprisingly were Belgian endive salad and the steak fries. That salad was simply perfection! All the flavors were spot-on. All in all, it was nice to fiind a bistro style restaurant w full bar but food was inconsistent and price point higher than other restaurants with comparable food. We had a few small plates, clams and the shredded Brussel sprouts which were very good but the clams had parts of the shell. The Double IPA's were very good but I am sure this place is better known for its signature cocktails. We should have ordered the fish, it looked amazing. We come here every time we're in Chattanooga, and every time they never cease to amaze. From the attentive and friendly staff, to the fabulous food and cocktails. Yes, it's not cheap, but it's not the cheap run of the mill fair we have come to expect from a lot of restaurants. We've come here for over two years, and we will continue to do so... until our daughter graduates from college, then we'll just have to make special trips. Dirty, Ryland, Martini-man was a great find when visiting one evening for a company Christmas Party and dining on our own after. He's a great bartender and offers friendly, knowledgeable and attentive service. The food is fantastic as well! Our table was occupied by a group of 5 that had finished their dinner and simply settled in to gab. Manager should have politely explained that another party needed the table or invited them to continue talking at the bar. Standing in the middle of traffic in the restaurant until 9:10 pm doesn't put one in the proper frame of mind for a good dining experience. We ordered most of the small plates to share. We were walking and decided to dine at Easy Bistro. Without reservations and wanting to dine outdoors, we ere given a wait time of 45 minutes. They were full and noisy. The wait staff were very friendly and accommodating, if a bit disorganized. We enjoyed our wait on a street bench, and our waiter came to the street (instead of calling) and ushered us to our outdoor seat. By then it was late so we only ordered entrees, Short Rib Agnolotti , Gramigna, hot peppermint tea and fresh made lemonade. At first I was a little thrown off because we had to 20 minutes even though we had a restaurant but the food and service more than made up for it. We started with mussels and the octopus. I highly recommend the octopus. It was super tender and had these bits of charred olive that were incredible. Next up was the whole fish and Babette steak. To accompany the main dishes we got mushrooms and steak fries. I'll start with the sides. First, I'm not a fan of steak fries. At most places they are not done right. They are mushy and just way too potatoey (that is a word). These steak fries were crisp and full of flavor. Reminded me of the homemade hand cut French fries my mother used to make. They are served alongside a beef tallow mayo. The mayo is good and I dont like mayo. The mushrooms were very good and a nice accompaniment to the steak. The Bavette steak was amazing. Tender, flavorful and the au poivre sauce was on point! On to the roasted fish. It was pure perfection. It was a whole fish (snapper) with a lemon stuffed in the cavity and lemon rind and rosemary stuffed into the slices crevices. The fish was crispy and had a nice salt crust! I got the bigger fish which is 1.5-2lbs. It's a nice size fish. It was enough for me and enough to trade for steak from my husband. I definitely recommend this place and when I come back to Chattanooga I will come back! read more

If you have not been to Easy Bistro since they reopened, you need to head that way. The new location is beautiful. The cocktails are second to none. My new favorite drink is the Black Magic Woman. My wife and I ate dinner here last night and it was incredible. Because of COVID-19, we were only comfortable eating outdoors and they made sure we had a dedicated heater for our table. It was delightful and comfortable and the service was awesome. The food was spectacular - we each got a pasta dish and my mouth is watering thinking about it now. The roasted broccoli was amazing too. Also, our server was so personable and when I declined dessert (because the delicious-sounding options they had seemed like more food than I could tackle after dinner) and shared that all I really wanted was a small bit of chocolate to go with my wine, she brought back a small plate with the most delicious dark chocolate with almonds they had laying around from another dish they had been serving. I was excited to try this restaurant, from the outside it looked cute and trendy, but I quickly found out that is all it was. The food and service here was very disappointing. I had a large party of 8 and not one person was happy or excited about their meal. After ordering, our meals took forever to come out - almost two hours to be exact.
