Update 9/18: The business owner has now posted my address and phone number on Yelp out of retaliation. Never once did this person apologize for his employee making me feel this way. Made no attempt at retribution or even agreed to have a conversation with the employee about boundaries. He took no responsibility Instead he chose to lash out and be even more threatening. I would never call someone "mentally retarded" I have handicap people in my family. I did not intend to be cruel by saying he could have been handicapped, I truly would not have wanted to say something negative about someone who was simply incapable of following my verbal cues, to get to work and remain professional. Retaliation against a review is dangerous and against the law. This speaks greatly about the mindset of the men working for this business. Why would I ever call someone who made me feel uncomfortable back to my home?? Entering into people's home requires ethic and privacy. It should be taken serious. Training should have occurred to respect boundaries. You get in, get your job done and leave with as little disruption to the household as possible. I posted a semi bad review about this business. I did not feel comfortable with the person they sent to clean my carpet. He was very insistent with his upsell, overly friendly, initiating too much conversation to the point of making me uncomfortable, wandering into areas of the house that were not necessary fir him to go, repeatedly stopping his work to engage me over and over again. "Accidentally"leaving something behind to come back. Texted me after the job was done. As a single woman I was made to feel uncomfortable. I wasn't sure if the guy was a creep on drugs or if he was disabled somehow. So I wanted to think about my review so I waited 3/4 days to see if I still felt that way. The worker and the business was also VERY PERSISTENT about getting a review from me. I do not like to be pressured to review. I wrote an honest review and they somehow got it deleted and even inboxed me asking me to remove it... after pressuring me to write one. I guess they only want reviews if they are good. A week later, the carpet really isn't any more clean than if I had hired someone else. Perhaps someone else would not have tried so hard to upsell me over and over and not made me feel creepy in the process. This experience made me glad to have cameras, security doors and guard dogs. I have been using Easy Clean for years and I get my carpets cleaned every 6 months. Jeff has come to clean my carpets the last two times. He is kind, considerate and really takes pride in the job he does. I have always been satisfied with the quality of work. I have 3 dogs and my carpets always look and smell amazing after a visit from Easy Clean. I also appreciate that they can schedule an appointment within a couple of days. There was recently a poor review written by someone and after looking at that person's profile, this person only writes bad reviews of companies. My young kid partied a little too had without us knowing and went to bed with a bag of flaming Hot Cheetos and an orange crush chaser as a night cap. Needless to say we were woken up at 3am being informed that they threw up. We walked in on what looked to be a murder scene if the murder victim was a unicorn. These guys came out and we're at my place within a couple hours of calling. Bad news was the stain did not come out. But given the situation, Jeff made it a lot cleaner than I could do by hand. I had him clean the other two rooms as well. Fair price, professional and polite. You can tell Jeff works hard and didn't cut corners. He wanted to make the job right and clearly cares about his end results. I will not be using this company again. I did an initial walk through with Jeff and went over the carpet and tile areas I wanted clean. I removed furniture and other items out of the way before he arrived (making it very obvious / hassle free the areas to clean), and gave him specific instructions not to move any furniture (I didn't want him to hurt himself moving large furniture or risk damaging anything). Nonetheless, he broke a couch when he moved it attempting to clean beneath it, and he removed clothing and items from closets that I specifically asked him not to clean and (those closet doors were closed). I was home and he didn't ask me for any clarification or anything. When he alerted me of the broken couch, I called the company about the issue, wanting to know if they could send someone to help him. I was told to send him home and dock amounts from the final bill, which I thought was totally inappropriate because I don't employ him. I'm giving him 1 star instead of 0, because at the time I paid my bill, Jeff attempted to charge me an additional $30, but corrected it when I pointed out that the bill didn't match the invoice he had me sign after the initial walk through. Had he not spent time finding other areas to clean and followed my directions (or at least asked me questions for clarification), then he would have had time to clean my kitchen floor properly, instead of rushing to get to his next appointment.
