Braised short rib hash ( tender short rib with eggs any way you want & nice sized potatoes mixed with the right amount of red pepper ... all goodness, the pancakes, bread budding with pecans drizzled icing was oh so delicious . I requested a sangria that was not on the menu & was very excited to be accommodated. When I tell you it was wonderfully it was just that. My girlfriend & I sat at the bar, there was no rush or sense of urgency for us to eat & drink which made for an amazing experience. We took in the crowd, how the staff moved about seamlessly & the music playing in the background. Everyone there appeared to be enjoying everything as well. How do I know? Easy Like Sunday is hands down my new go-to breakfast spot. Ellie was THE BEST. She was so sweet, so fun to talk to, and made the whole vibe even better. She recommended the Black Cherry Latte and it was amazing. It was smooth, not too sweet, just perfect. She also told me to try the French Toast with strawberries and that was such a good call. Seriously delicious. The outdoor seating is really nice too, I have to make sure to utilize it more in the fall! Inside vibe was beautiful as well. I'm giving this place 2 stars--and that's being generous. We chose to have breakfast here because it's close to home and typically busy on Saturdays. However, due to a local festival, we figured that going around 10 a.m. would make for a more relaxed experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. After placing our order, we waited longer than usual, only to receive food that was completely cold. We sent it back, but no manager ever came by to acknowledge the issue. It's hard to understand how a kitchen manager or chef could allow food to sit out long enough to get cold and still send it out. Even if our server was tied up, we saw several staff members standing around chatting--why didn't anyone step in? Creamy and full of flavor they remind you of a warm Sunday morning in the south. We stuck with the breakfast side of their menu and ordered a Brunch Burger with Home Fries and a Breakfast Burrito with Seasonal Fruit. The burger was well put together and hit the spot! The brioche bun is a nice added touch. The fries were crisp and seasoned well. This item is categorized as a handheld favorite and quickly became one of mine. Recently opened this location is easy to find with plenty of parking available in the garages. Ambiance is welcoming and airy and bright. Hues of pink and green with florals and greenery. We were seated promptly and our server came moments after with water. Lots of great options on the menu. We ordered a cappuccino and a Spanish latte. The cappuccino was not bad and the Spanish latte was more like an iced mocha. A glass cup would have elevated the drink instead of the same plastic cups as water. We ordered a gluten free pancake and chilaquiles. Pancake was decent and chilaquiles were underwhelming. They were lacking crema which I asked for a side of and a little more avocado would have really brought the flavors together. Our server was really sweet and brought the food out quickly and checked up on us a few times. I wanted to LOVE the place but the food was ok, ambiance and service was great. Came here on a Sunday morning after having already tried the other Easy Like Sunday location, and it did not disappoint. We had a party of 5 and got seated right away. Matthew, our server, was very welcoming and attentive. He got all of our orders right despite not writing anything down. We ordered everything family style and got small plates to share. We waited maybe 15 minutes for the meal to come out -- certainly not long and gave us some time to catch up with each other. 1. Shrimp and Grits: My go-to for this restaurant. Grits are super creamy, shrimp is perfectly seasoned. Love the addition of chili oil for the extra oomph. It's not too spicy for those who cannot handle as much spice. 2. Ricotta Stuffed French Toast: The perfect amount of sweetness for french toast. This location didn't put as much ricotta as the one at 66 Village Square, but it was still delicious. 3. Short Rib Hash with over medium eggs: Matthew suggested this style of egg after confirming that runny eggs were okay with the table. It was done perfectly and went well with the meal. Potatoes were wonderfully seasoned, and the beef was super tender. Highly recommend. 4. Maple Bourbon Banana French Toast: A special menu item. Delicious! The sweetness from the bananas complemented the creaminess well. For 5 people, this was definitely enough food. The portions are super shareable!
