As this was unavoidable, I got on the hunt for a reputable, highly recommended moving company. And I was super duper happy to find A Few Good College Men. Their communication was great, the charges were clearly laid out, they arrived on time, and most importantly took the utmost care with my belongs and furniture. Clearly they have been in the business for a while, because the truck was loaded so intricately and with a lot of care. We had two stops - the first to drop off stuff to the house and the next to the storage unit. With both stops - I was really impressed with the professionalism. All in all, my husband and I both agree that they were excellent value for money; and I really felt peace of mind throughout the moving process! And that's saying a lot!! 10/10 would recommend and I will DEFINITELY be a repeat customer future moves!!

I will happily recommend Bookstore to family and friends and will never use another moving company. Their strength, kindness, commitment and pride in their job and the company, organization, efficiency as a crew (this was amazing to watch- they just flowed as a team of 5 and Patrick was an excellent leader!), was consitent and apparent throughout the entire time they spent with us. I really can't say enough good things about the experience and hope to work with them again when we hopefully buy a place and move in the next couple of years. One of the founders came to the home and looked through the house. All employees have been straight talking and easy to talk to. We stored our belongings in their warehouse for more than one year. Other than a dollar store bucket, some parts of my jointer (they offered to pay for the replacement parts) and a few furniture dings the contents arrived as packed. My only slight ding is they told me they have semis crossing the country several times a week and it would be their employees. The deliver team though good are from a local company and they are the ones that I believe broke my jointer.

The starting prices are reasonable and my only complaint would be that if there was at least another person it would have went by faster. I did end up paying for an additional hour, but it was WORTH it! I would recommend them and I would use them again. The next time I will be more realistic with myself about the time it will take and plan accordingly.

They were flexible with us as we had to reschedule due to weather, and had several complicated moves that were handled very well. As with any move, we took care ourselves to wrap things, communicate our needs and expectations, but I would do that with any mover. Ask questions, clarify and explain what you want. All furniture was wrapped carefully with moving blankets and secured and all breakables were treated with care. I've never seen a team of people work so hard!

But then after putting in our claim on damages with ample proof of damages, and also our honest review, my wife received a call from one of the movers asking us to take down the poor review because they would get in trouble with the owners. Now I'm wondering goes on behind the scenes because the good reviews seems much more shady now. How many other reviews got asked to be taken down? They got the move done and did it relatively quick given the difficulty. The price was rather high given the quality of work completed. And given how quick they were to request us to take a poor review down to me deserves an even poorer review. Honestly, if they had taken accountability right away to the damages I would have felt better about a simple 3 star review. I can't in good conscience recommend Zip Moving and Storage.

From my initial telephone contact with Karey and our video walk through with Jon I was very impressed. Likewise, I was very pleased with the initial cost estimate that was provided to us. We did our due diligence and obtained two other estimates, both higher than the one from Prince. In fact, one was twice as high. We were a bit concerned about the great disparity. However, having been impressed with Karey and Jon and reading about the fundamental principles of their business we elected to go with Prince. I cannot say enough about the crew that handled our move. They called ahead of time to advise they were on the way - and on time ! Carlo, the team leader, was polite, responsive to our requests, flexible to add on a few things we needed to move, and his supervision of the other three members of the crew : Omar, Jeff and Mario. The care that the entire crew gave to our furniture, including some large, heavy wood pieces with glass shelves and doors, was extraordinary. The move was handled efficiently, effectively and expeditiously. Nothing was damaged ! The crew was great in moving things around to get them in the correct location. We were very pleased ! I must point out that this move was so well handled from initial contact to the crew departing our new home And it was accomplished UNDER BUDGET !! Kudos to the entire Prince team. We are grateful.
