I was driving OKC to Memphis and decided to stop in Conway for lunch. I didn't really want 'fast food' so checked on Yelp to see what else was nearby. This place looked promising and I was not disappointed! I received a warm welcome and a military discount, but prices were already pretty reasonable. I got a catfish basket with hushpuppies, cole slaw & fried okra, plus a fried peach pie and sweet tea - color me happy! This was seriously some of the best catfish I've had in quite awhile - light cornmeal breading and the tartar sauce was very tasty too. You order at the counter then they bring your meal to your table, but they also check on you often. I can't wait to make a pitstop in Conway again! read more

I'm so glad Eat My Catfish have upped the spice on crawfish! $6.99/lb and we added sausage, corn, and potatoes for around $4 more. Y'all!! I started randomly singing Alicia Keys', "Girl in Fire" however, changed the lyrics to, "My lips are on fire...my lips are on fi-ire!" If your lips are chapped, beware if you asked for spicy. I love this place! I love the crawfish Po'boy. I get it deconstructed because all I really want are the crawfish tails. Wish there was just a crawfish tail basket! I like their catfish very much. Love this place, but the experience wasn't as good as the last time I.was there. The food was great as always... I had the 1lbs. peel and eat'em (spicey) shrimp (it was great) and the Mrs. Had the 1lbs. Crab legs, also good if not a little expensive. If I had to complain about anything I would have been the women's restroom was out of order (I mean no camode at all) and the men's restroom was filthy. Also, they didn't have any floating servers to check on food or help with any help. All this was a one time issue, all other times were good, so hope this will be remedied soon. read more

Finally tried this place and the experience was a good one. I think we went as the dinner rush was getting going. But we couldn't really tell because the staff worked quickly, efficiently and friendly. The cashier taking our order was patient and didn't rush us knowing it was our first time. The seasoning on the food was really good. The batter was evenly coated and the crisp was just right. I've had food from some places that the batter was over cooked. We waited 30 minutes for our food to receive cold catfish. There was only one customer besides us, she was already eating. I paid an extra dollar for okra in place of my second side to receive a 2oz cup with about 8-9 pieces of okra. I don't mind to pay extra but expect something for the money. Staff informed me owner is forcing them to weigh out their food servings. Baked beans were not baked but generic pork n beans. We love stopping when traveling through but this place has changed and not for the good. Don't mind paying the high prices but not for these small portions and cold food. Although the crab legs were pretty good (3/5) and the lady was nice, nothing else about this place was worth it. Small portions, $5 beers, super long wait for cold food and then another 15 minute wait for a pie. You order when you come in and pick up after yourself. My fiancé and I with one beer each was $78. I have eaten here many times, and have always had a great experience. I normally go there for the Crawfish, spicy of course. They are really good, and cooked properly. Their shrimp are great too. I bought a sack of crawfish yesterday, and they were really good quality. Though they were ungraded, most were very good sized, and out of the entire bag, 32#, I only found one that was deceased. I have never had that kind of luck buying live crawfish. These folks know their business. Great folks, and great product. What is not to like. read more

Tonight was my first time eating here. The service was friendly, the place was clean,and overall it was a good experience. I ordered the crawfish and the flavor was on point however, they were not easy to peel at all. When eating crawfish it should not be as much work as i had to do. I'm not usually a fan of catfish (I went because my husband was craving some), but I was REALLY surprised by how much I liked theirs! The shrimp was also fantastic, really a good size and very nicely cooked. I also REALLY loved their fries, they were nice and crunchy and seemed to have just a bit of breading on them. The restaurant is very informal and friendly, and the decor sort of reminds me of Gus' Fried Chicken or Slim Chickens with the corrugated metal and distressed wood. read more

It was different, delicious, and I couldn't get enough- I even ate it with my fries. This is a pretty relaxed restaurant good for big group get togethers or just a couples lunch. My wife and I had a good experience here with the food. We both had the boiled seafood buckets. They were good. The crawfish was a little overlooked and were a little mushy to pull from the tail. I have worked in Louisiana for years and have been spoiled to good crawfish. With this said, I have to say they were the best I've had in Arkansas from a commercial business. I look forward to eating there again. The shrimp were spot on with the boil, peeled easily and were not mushy. Crab was good, all the trimmings were good. Price was fair with market. read more

This is a great catfish restaurant. I have never had a piece of fish that tasted burned. Their po'boys are excellent. Their tarter sauce is one of the best recipes that I have ever tasted. Well, its like this.... I'm in the ER. My stomach ruptured due to a new strain of flesh eating bacteria that I picked up eating the shrimp at this restaurant. The catfish was so rotten, so overcooked, that I was unable to moisten my mouth by normal means. Between bites I had to kiss my girlfriend to get her saliva into my mouth. Just driving through Arkansas and had a taste for catfish. Boy, did we find the right place! The fish was fried just right - melt in your mouth right. The dinners came with fries and cole slaw. My husband had the cole slaw - very good, he said and he's a stickler with cole slaw. I had fried okra and it was perfect. We both had hush puppies and they tasted just like my mom's. It's not a fancy place. You put in your order and they bring it to the table. But it was clean and felt like some of the catfish joints I went to years ago.
