It takes a lot for me to write a bad review!!! I was so excited when i heard that Eat Up was going to open again as my family and I loved it. But ever since they opened we've been disappointed one time after another. Every time I go, they are always out of something! I know they get busy so today I decided to place my online order early and everything I wanted was available. So when I get there 30 minutes after my order was placed and I was informed that 3 out of the 5 items I ordered were not available anymore that they had just sold out. So I asked them to cancel my order. The cashier did not know how to cancel it so she called the manager Miranda and soon as I saw her I knew this was not going to go well. She had a terrible attitude and kept on rolling her eyes. She canceled the order and didn't say a word to me as I was just standing there waiting for her to give me a receipt. No receipt was given and she just walked away. The cashier came back and asked if there was anything else that she can help me with and I asked her if I can have a receipt as she handed me the receipt. I noticed that the refund amount was incorrect. So she called back Miranda the manager to let her know and when Miranda came, she said that she was sorry but that she wasn't able to give me the tax or the tip back and I told her that I was sorry about that. I wanted my full refund so she opened the drawer took the cash out of the register put it on the counter and walked off. I'm sad to say but I will not be going back to Eat Up again. read more

Even though, I keep having bad experiences, I am still trying to love this place like I did before the fire. My experiences here have been super hit or miss! First, every time I have gotten anything with chicken, it is super dry and flavorless. Second, one day, I could not hear the drive thru employee because it was super loud inside. There were multiple cars in front and behind me, so I am sure I am not the only one who was experiencing that! I kept telling him that I could not hear him, and it was not improving. He was being super rude in his response. When I finally made it up to the window, he tried to compensate while I was tipping by "complimenting" me. This made me even more upset. Lastly, any time I try to go through the drive thru, it i always takes me super long, even if there is only one other car in line with me. read more

Love this cute little place! The employees were super helpful to us new comers and helped us pick the perfect order. I had the seasonal lemonade and I was obsessed. We used to visit Eat Up weekly. The whole family could find something to eat. Before the fire it was 50/50 weather they forgot something. Especially my wife's fries. Since the fire none of use enjoyed our meal. My steak was half the size and tasted awful. New fries soggy and less flavorful. This is a review from my girlfriend who doesn't have a Yelp account... This is my very first ever Yelp review and I'm so bummed that it's about Eat-Up, a place that we used to LOVE! Spent 20 minutes in the drive through line, ordered hot chicken sandwich with fries and the kale salad as a wrap (no apples or pears)- got home, sandwich and fries were cold, but the wrap was inedible- it was bone dry with no dressing, its was basically just lettuce in a loose, dry wrap- there were no almonds, no cheese no breadcrumbs and maybe a currant and a bacon bit or 2) - in addition to never having written a yelp review, I've also never sent food back, let alone, driven back takeout- the ladies at the front (NOT this miranda I've been reading about) were very nice and attempting to accommodate- first I just wanted a refund but it after several minutes trying to figure out out how to do that and maybe having to call a manager who wasn't there to figure out how to issue the refund, I said ok, if you can just re-make it with the ingredients, that's fine. I got home, opened the wrap, and it was completely the wrong wrap that I didn't order. I called to let them know I'd be coming back and would like a full refund on the meal up give them a little time to accomplish that. Again, the ladies in the front were perfectly nice but what a frustrating experience. And no refund of tax or tip which seems to be a theme here- an hour and 20 minutes after I first got in the drive through line, I'm now eating leftover pizza. IVE BEEN SLEEPING ON THIS SPOT! Eat Up has literally been one of our favorite restaurants for lunch lately. They have so many great options such as customized bowls , salads, sandwiches, and more. Our go to items are the bowls and we always get the chicken with the potatoes gratin & Cesar salad. Their other menu items are also great like the Cesar wrap or the baked potatoes. Yikes I hate writing this but I'm so disappointed! Pre fire they were amazing and I got food within 10-20 minutes but now I've given them two chances since and now I'm over it. Waited an hour both times. The first time was in the drive thru then she comes back to window after I pay and says did you need something else...I said ya my food...she goes I didn't give it to you?? No I was starting at my food not knowing for an extra 15 minutes so now it's cold she's not really sorry offered me nothing. Not fresh food nada. Gave them another chance last night. Ordered online waited 30 minutes drove over there for them to tell me it'll be another 30 minutes!! I wasn't mad yet I live a mile away went home and came back picked it up and was so disappointed the amount of steak was sad. Then my potatoes were raw and had zero flavor. ZEROOO. I literally had to add cheese salt and pepper then air fry for 15ish more minutes! That's crazy. Sucks because I live so close and they were great pre fire. Eat Up Drive in has been open a few years, now. I've been there a couple of times and after my first visit, I hoped there would be some improvement on a few points, though I haven't seen them. On my most recent visit, the food tasted a bit bland. While another reviewer indicated their food was too salty, mine was quite the opposite ... it had too little salt. Consistency may be a concern. When I looked at the Heirloom Tomato and Cucumber Salad, it was so colorful that I couldn't wait to dig in. Then the little/no salt concern was immediately apparent. I rushed to check my carry out bag for salt packets, but found none. The same was true for the Mac and Cheese. Truth be told, rather than added salt, I'd prefer melted cheese to cheese sauce. That would elevate both the texture and flavor. The Main Chick would have been great if one small tweak were made. It seemed to have come directly from the fryer to the roll with no effort to drain the oil or pat the chicken with a paper towel. This meant there was greasy oil all over the sandwich (including the packaging), not to mention it was a burn hazard. Don't get me wrong. I appreciate that it wasn't served cold, but a small change can go a long way. The service was speedy. I placed a curbside pickup order and when I pulled into the parking spot, a server approached me before I could pickup the phone to let them know I arrived. I just wish I had everything I needed before they walked away. I then had to wait in line at the drive through to request utensils. If utensils aren't provided by default for sustainability reasons, it would be nice to be prompted online to request them. All in all, Eat Up Drive In has a good concept and with some attention to detail and minor tweaks, they can go from good to great. read more

Not only was my food not ready, but everyone in there had been waiting for 30-40 minutes to get their food. I asked when my order would be ready and the person at the front responded by saying "I don't know. Could be 30-40 minutes."Was told I would be getting a refund but not holding my breath. I've ate at Eat Up many times over the past 2 years. Today is the first time I have been back since the fire closed them down. I used to regard their burger as being one of the best. Today, I got my usual double cheese burger and though it was very juicy, the seasoning was gone. I always appreciated the flavor and today it was noticably absent. Extremely disappointed, waiting 15 min for a simple breakfast sandwich. It's as if the chef decided to make some mix between two sandwiches. Luckily I work close but when I called to alert them I was coming back the phone was left unanswered. We live in the neighborhood and want to support local small businesses but Eat Up has let me down on too many occasions to not update my review. I'll start by saying the grace period for patience has passed. You should have your stuff together by now. When the food is good, it's so GOOD. I take issue with spending $16 a person per plate and having issues with food quality and inconsistency. I've dined in and ordered takeout on several occasions where one of the side items was bland, overdone, underdone, or way too salty. Another issue I take is none of the provided feedback has been taken into account. I'm very back and forth with this place. The first time I tried this place I got the burger and thought it was 10/10. The bun was awesome, toppings were good, and just an overall great burger. The next time I went I got the chicken grinder. Phenomenal! 2 for 2 right? The portion was massive and it was loaded with chicken. I honestly would like to know what happened because the last three times I've gone it's been off and different. The chicken nuggets are extremely dry. Like very dry. The burger on a GF bun was pretty bad, would not recommend. But the kicker is when I got home this evening after ordering the chicken grinder (old reliable) and it was about half the size of the first one I had ever gotten and there was almost 0 chicken on it. At first I thought maybe I was being dramatic but after I deconstructed it, low and behold there was literally almost no chicken. So disappointed, I went here and the first time they forgot my fries on my to go order, I go back next day to try it out again and to get my fries because they said I could come back and I ordered the grilled chicken plate with 2 sides and the shrimp with 2 sides. The shrimp was decent, but the chicken was awful-so dry and it wasn't even a whole chicken breast. I was shocked at what I got for the price. Also baked potato was so dry and awful, everything was cold when I got home. I called and they never called back. Will not be returning. Don't not go through the drive thru. This is the slowest drive thru I have ever been in and the food is not worth that long of a wait. I waited 20 minutes just to have my order taken and then another 15 to get to the window to pick up my food. They do not have the parking lot to have such a long line, other cars can't even back out or leave. They need to have someone outside taking orders if they want this line to move quicker. Not sure what the inside is like but seems like they were taking care of people inside first. Not sure if I would try again due to how long the wait was. read more
