Extremely disappointed, waiting 15 min for a simple breakfast sandwich. It's as if the chef decided to make some mix between two sandwiches. Luckily I work close but when I called to alert them I was coming back the phone was left unanswered. Eat Up Drive in has been open a few years, now. I've been there a couple of times and after my first visit, I hoped there would be some improvement on a few points, though I haven't seen them. On my most recent visit, the food tasted a bit bland. While another reviewer indicated their food was too salty, mine was quite the opposite ... it had too little salt. Consistency may be a concern. When I looked at the Heirloom Tomato and Cucumber Salad, it was so colorful that I couldn't wait to dig in. Then the little/no salt concern was immediately apparent. I rushed to check my carry out bag for salt packets, but found none. The same was true for the Mac and Cheese. Truth be told, rather than added salt, I'd prefer melted cheese to cheese sauce. That would elevate both the texture and flavor. The Main Chick would have been great if one small tweak were made. It seemed to have come directly from the fryer to the roll with no effort to drain the oil or pat the chicken with a paper towel. This meant there was greasy oil all over the sandwich (including the packaging), not to mention it was a burn hazard. Don't get me wrong. I appreciate that it wasn't served cold, but a small change can go a long way. The service was speedy. I placed a curbside pickup order and when I pulled into the parking spot, a server approached me before I could pickup the phone to let them know I arrived. I just wish I had everything I needed before they walked away. I then had to wait in line at the drive through to request utensils. If utensils aren't provided by default for sustainability reasons, it would be nice to be prompted online to request them. All in all, Eat Up Drive In has a good concept and with some attention to detail and minor tweaks, they can go from good to great. read more

This establishment was exceptional and beginning, and went downhill ever since. Prior to their Jewish lightning claim their customer service and food quality began to decline significantly "in the last six months". My immediate family and dear friends feel the same way. I'm very back and forth with this place. The first time I tried this place I got the burger and thought it was 10/10. The bun was awesome, toppings were good, and just an overall great burger. The next time I went I got the chicken grinder. Phenomenal! 2 for 2 right? The portion was massive and it was loaded with chicken. I honestly would like to know what happened because the last three times I've gone it's been off and different. The chicken nuggets are extremely dry. Like very dry. The burger on a GF bun was pretty bad, would not recommend. But the kicker is when I got home this evening after ordering the chicken grinder (old reliable) and it was about half the size of the first one I had ever gotten and there was almost 0 chicken on it. At first I thought maybe I was being dramatic but after I deconstructed it, low and behold there was literally almost no chicken. So disappointed, I went here and the first time they forgot my fries on my to go order, I go back next day to try it out again and to get my fries because they said I could come back and I ordered the grilled chicken plate with 2 sides and the shrimp with 2 sides. The shrimp was decent, but the chicken was awful-so dry and it wasn't even a whole chicken breast. I was shocked at what I got for the price. Also baked potato was so dry and awful, everything was cold when I got home. I called and they never called back. Will not be returning. I'll start by saying the grace period for patience has passed. You should have your stuff together by now. When the food is good, it's so GOOD. I take issue with spending $16 a person per plate and having issues with food quality and inconsistency. I've dined in and ordered takeout on several occasions where one of the side items was bland, overdone, underdone, or way too salty. Another issue I take is none of the provided feedback has been taken into account. Went through drive thru today 1/16/24 and ordered chicken tenders. I was in a hurry to get back to work and didn't check my order. When I got to work and opened the bag - I received 5 what I would call nuggets NOT tenders. Also they charged me for BBQ sauce that was NOT in the bag. All this for $7 ! Don't not go through the drive thru. This is the slowest drive thru I have ever been in and the food is not worth that long of a wait. I waited 20 minutes just to have my order taken and then another 15 to get to the window to pick up my food. They do not have the parking lot to have such a long line, other cars can't even back out or leave. They need to have someone outside taking orders if they want this line to move quicker. Not sure what the inside is like but seems like they were taking care of people inside first. Not sure if I would try again due to how long the wait was. read more

It was an absolute genius idea to make a drive-thru with elevated American classics. Sure it gives diner vibes from afar, but Eat Up is anything except some greasy spoon. It is a fancier version of fast food. And more! What I tried: The double cheeseburger, which tasted fine but was impossible to enjoy without making a mess. The two medium-well patties, the onions, cheese, and their signature "awesome sauce" was reminiscent of a certain Cali burger chain. But goodness gracious I would not want to eat this on the go, nor would it have remained intact on even a short trip home. Had I ordered this to-go it would have been a soggy mess and I would have been grumpy. Heck, it was a soggy mess fresh out the kitchen! Also tried the BBQ short-rib sandwich, complete with its scrumptious horseradish aioli. Similar problem-- it was delicious, but incredibly messy and falling apart. I want to say "who cares?" because everything tastes great. I want to say I'll gladly get it all over my face, and that's just the price you have to pay for *real* food.
