Turkish eggs (with a bite already gone)

This place is awesome. The food was soooooo good. One of the other reviews said the lemon ricotta pancakes were too tart but that's actually what made us go, they were just the right amount of tart and sweet. The Turkish eggs were easy to miss on the menu but boy were they delicious. Coffee was great and service was super friendly and efficient. Great vibes, music was nice and calming

Another great spot in Westchester with great vibes and food! The service was great and so were the prices. I thought the prices were very reasonable for their afternoon tea and a la carte dishes. I had the afternoon tea set for 2 and their lemon ricotta pancakes. The tartness of the lemon was balanced out by the ricotta and that paired with the chewiness of the pancakes was just a delicious combination. 10/10 would recommend it! With their afternoon tea, you can choose the tea you would like and they have a great selection so you'll definitely find something you like! Then you choose your tea sandwich and the rest are assorted fruits, scones, and petit-fours. I went with their BBQ chicken salad for my sandwich and I really enjoyed it. I thought the scones had a great texture to them and weren't too sweet. The flakiness was just right and was not dry at all. I had such a great time here and am definitely looking to visit again. It's a great spot to visit on your own, with friends, or your partner I would say.

Eatarry is a very cozy little place with about 10 or so tables. We we're warmly greeted and seated promptly. We ordered one order of lemon ricotta pancakes, which was huge. Photo shows one half of the order which the kitchen split without even asking. Certainly enough for two people to share. We also ordered scrambled eggs on the side, which were delicious. Their coffee was excellent. They had an extraordinary offering of loose leaf teas which was brewed perfectly in a pot. I ordered the Irish breakfast tea. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.

Don't ask me why I'd never been here before. Maybe because we tend to go out for dinner more than breakfast or lunch (which is when Eatarry is only open). But oh my! What a fun place to spend the morning and linger over a beautiful cup of tea. I got the polenta breakfast with the two poached eggs. I asked if they'd make the eggs a little firm and they happily complied (my friend wanted hers "regular" and they were soft as she liked.) She got the heart grain bowl (I forgot what it's called on the menu). She said she usually gets this bowl and her partner gets the lemon pancakes and they share. Now THAT must be an amazing combo! Sweet and savory. I'm going to try that next time. The service couldn't have been nicer. Really quite the local gem for morning/afternoon adventures.

Feeling generous today, so I'm awarding the Tarrytown "Eatarry" 3 stars. My fiance and I come to Tarrytown every June 30th for our anniversary, and it's always, always, always intensely busy in the downtown area (Main St). Eatarry could be great, but I feel like the staff here may just not care... Firstly, it was BLAZING HOT in there, no AC and only a large fan for the wait staff by the front register. After we were seated, it took quite a while for anyone to take our drink order (we desperately needed ice water) and it really wasn't busy! My "Lyndhurst" sandwich was decent but the "homemade" potato chips were not. Could possibly return, but it's unlikely.

Should have read the reviews first... I was completely caught off guard by the automatic 20% tip and they add to the bill plus 3.5% credit card fee. Especially when they only took our order and never checked on us once ... Food is mediocre. Ambiance doesn't fit a "high tea/breakfast". They serve you beer glasses for water and in the bathroom was a picture of the bridge being blown up... so strange.

Stopped by Eatarry in September and just getting around to writing the review. We were a group a 5 and the staff was very accommodating and seated us right away as we did not have a reservation. I ordered the tea party and really enjoyed everything that came with it. Love that they have a lot of tea options. The shop was decorated nicely and had outdoor seating which was perfect for the fall weather. Their menu has a lot of food options and we will definitely be returning to try out the other items.

Great selection of teas. Get the waffles and stay for the scones. The staff is very nice. Gets busy for brunch. Will be back. My daughter likes their kids pancakes.

We came to this area for the day to explore. We were happy to grab breakfast here. We each enjoyed our breakfast. The S'mores pancakes and oatmeal were really good!

    Sample of the seasonal pancakes!

Every time I'm in the area, especially with friends, we have to stop by Eatarry for brunch. It's always delicious, never fails. The staff is so incredibly friendly and the food is consistently good. Usually there's a long wait but this weekend we were sat right away, even with the long wait. It's totally worth it.

They're also committed to cutting out the middleman, such as a store, market, or distributor. Located in the heart of Tarrytown on Main Street, we decided to meet up for brunch at Sweet Grass Grill. The reservation was easily made via Yelp. Al fresco seating filled the sidewalks in front of the dog-friendly eatery, and the open door allows chitchat to move freely in and out, creating a lively yet comfortable vibe. Upon entering as first-timers, the wooden bar commands attention, where my partner, his family, and I were greeted by the staff. The bar top is made from a slab of wood salvaged from a single fallen oak tree on the Rockefeller Preserve. We got a cozy table at the front window inside a bright, airy interior with earthy accent colors. Their menu features rustic New American cuisine with many vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options that change with the seasons. We decided on the Veggie Buffalo "Wings" with a side of fries, the Grass-Fed Cheeseburger, the Mushroom "Cheesesteak," and Maine Mussels. Complimentary vegan banana bread started our meal. Every dish at our table was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented and full of flavor. Reasonable price, and the service was attentive, warm, genuinely welcoming, and patient. Our server was Terence. Voted Best of Westchester, it was a wonderful experience, and we can't wait for a repeat performance.

I ordered the egg and cheese biscuit with the help of the cashier, I didn't get her name and it's on the receipt but I threw it out. Even though this was not a vegan dish, who could pass on a collosal cheese biscuit. The egg was a nice accompaniment to this cheese biscuit also. The lady that gave me the biscuits said, wow! That smells nice. I thought she was giving me a compliment on the order until I sniffed the bag. Normally I don't do well with my sense of smell but, boy oh boy! The only downside is that they don't take reservations for brunch, but trust me, the wait is SO worth it. We started with the mimosa flight, which came with a generous pour and several delicious flavors. Two things I look for in a good brunch: variety and a little buzz, this delivered! I ordered the steak Caesar salad, and the steak was juicy, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the delicious potato fries. My best friend enjoyed her steak and eggs as well. We also tried the empanadas, including black bean & cheese, sazón beef, mojo pork, and buffalo chicken with sofrito aioli. Each one had its own unique flavor, and they were all delicious. They have a program to text when your table was ready, so we went for a walk in the neighborhood while we waited. A surprisingly short time later, we received the text that our table was ready! The menu(s) had a wonderful selection of food and drinks, along with some specials. They do use a QR code for their menus, but noticed they also had paper menus upon request. Our server was friendly and attentive. The other members of staff would also check in as they passed by. My boyfriend enjoyed the PB & J Latte along with the creole shrimp Benedict. He said it was seasoned well, right level of spice, stated the eggs were poached perfectly, and really enjoyed how moist the cornbread was. I indulged with the "Tipsy Palmer" which is an Arnold Palmer with Bourbon in it. To be honest, there wasn't much of a bourbon taste to it, if any at all, but for a summer brunch drink, it was refreshing. For my entree, I chose the chicken Caesar sliders. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed as the brioche buns seemed a little on the stale/stiff side. The homemade caesar dressing was delicious, but they only coated the lettuce in it which resulted in a bit of a dry slider. I believe the sliders would benefit from a bit of the dressing at least on the bottom of the bun. I asked for (and received) a side of the dressing to bring home to dress up my remaining sliders. Lastly, and I know this is extremely minor, but the silverware was placed incorrectly (knife and fork reversed with the knife edge in the wrong direction). Again, I am WELL AWARE this is minor, but for me, sometimes the minor details are the things that stand out. Overall, a wonderful experience and will try them again at a later date.
