I just remember growing up, we used to go apple picking down the street and we'd always stop by afterwards for some Chick-fil-A. The Chick-fil-A in Northshore Mall was one of the only locations that Massachusetts had at that point in time (I believe?) or at least the only one I had visited as a kid because the ones near me had not arrived yet. Northshore Mall is the only mall in MA to have a JCPenney now. Still a pretty lively & busy mall when I last visited about a week ago! As I walked through the mall, it felt a bit dated compared to the other malls (Natick, Burlington, etc). Very early 2000s kind of vibe with a mix of some popular stores you'd find at most shopping malls, along with a couple small businesses... they've even got a barber shop in here! Overall, I find that not much has changed at Northshore. Seems like an okay mall for quick, casual shopping. Nordstroms will be gone soon and replaced with a Dick's Sporting Goods. I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here, however, it was still nice to visit!

Here, you have to order on the touchscreen tablets, then pay by credit card or cash at a register. They also offer DoorDash delivery too and if you order directly on the store website (pickup only), you get a 3% off discount. I stopped by the mall for food takeout and decided on L Kitchen. I ordered my food on my phone to save the 3%. I ordered the Seaweed Roll Topping 2pcs ($1.94 plus tax), Bulgogi Mandu Topping 2pcs ($1.94 plus tax), Crispy Spring Roll Topping 2pcs ($1.94 plus tax), Crunchy Chicken Katsu Dosirak Lunch Box with white Rice ($9.99 plus tax), and Yakisoba Noodle - Beef ($10.66 plus tax). The total was around $28. My food was bagged and ready in 10 minutes. I enjoyed some of my food in the food court before repacking the rest for later. The food I had was pretty good, including the bite sized pieces of spring rolls, seaweed rolls, and bulgogi mandu going well with the beef yakisoba noodles, which had vegetables, corn, chilled hard boiled egg, and soft beefs of marinated beef. The chicken katsu (lunch box) was crunchy outside with tender chicken strips topped with katsu drizzle, Asian slaw with a vinegar flavor, soft hot white rice, chilled egg slices, tomatoes, and grapefruit. Next time, I will have to order some Korean chicken tenders & fries, and the potato cheese corn dog,!

Have tried many of the Korean restaurants in Allston and this, K Restaurant, seems to outrank them all! As for service -- indeed you pay first, but was a bit confused about the server/front desk who pretty much tell you to order before seated (choosing your own table), take your order, serve you with all the food, etc -- literally she handles all the customer service stuff -- wondering why she did not appear at pleasant or smile at all. Don't get me wrong, fully aware of wide range of personalities -- some appear more excited and enthusiastic than others others -- even without the the usual tipping at the end, and especially with the tipping at the end. Here, of course you pay -- and finalize your tip or no time before being served with your food, but still the server did not appear to greet or show those standard pleasantries expected all common in America ... She wasn't rude or anything. It just seems like she's not happy being there. Any event, just some thoughts here. Would definitely be back. And do recommend this place to others who want delicious meal but just note the above.

It's evident that Chick-fil-A places a high emphasis on ensuring that their customers are not only treated well but are also served promptly. In addition to the scrumptious food and quick service, the atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting and comfortable. The cleanliness and attention to detail were evident throughout, enhancing the overall dining experience.
