I ordered a catered lunch from here via Relish. Because of that, I can't speak to the service quality or ambiance of the restaurant. This review is solely off of the Greek salad I ordered. I was not too impressed with the salad. It didn't come with feta cheese (or any cheese) which is a staple for a Greek salad. The side pita it came with was a plus. Ordered the pizza, mozzarella sticks and fried, specifically said not to ring door bell. They rung it anyways. The pizza was soggy, greasy and overall not palatable. The Philly "Steaktips" pizza was disgusting, and the steak wasn't even proper steaktips. The cheese on top was extremely yellow and out of place, like they poured extra cheddar cheese onto it. It was supposed to be Mozzarella. That was NOT mozzarella. It was borderline inedible. The BBQ Chicken pizza was the only one i could stomach - if only a slice. It was soggy, overloaded and greasy... but better than the philly pizza. The mozzarella sticks were disgusting too! They tasted like grease and cardboard wrapped around cheese, and the marinara sauce wasn't that good either. Most of the food we ordered was thrown away - except for the fries... which were okay. I used to go here for years and years, and I spent $70 on food today for my friends to have a nice dinner, and we were met with disappointment and despair. Not gonna order from here again. read more

A group of us came here for lunch while waiting for our session at K1 cart racing. With a time limit if 45 minutes, we ordered wing dings, Buffalo wings, the broccoli and chicken white pizza and a "supreme" pizza. The wings came out really fast and the pizza only took about ten or fifteen minutes, which was perfect given our limited time. The wing dings are really good, and the buffalo wings were saucy and spicy. The crust on the pizza was a bit like a thin crust and of the two, I definitely liked the white pizza best. It wasn't too wet and the crust could maintain it's consistency. The supreme pizza was meaty and delicious. With so much weight and sauce/meat juice, the crust wasn't as firm as I like it though. I have ordered from Reading house for the past few years. I ordered 2 chicken ceaser salads for delivery. The salad showed up with no chicken. I called them back and asked for a refund and Olga told me she remembered the order and she didn't charge me for chicken. I tried to politely explain to her that regardless if she charged me for chicken or not she took the order wrong. I asked for a refund which she refused l. I told her I have ordered here for years and would not be able to order again if she was not able to solve the problem, she didn't care because there was someone else on the other line. So no refund and I will no longer be ordering from this establishment. Seems like the easy thing to do would have been just refund the twenty bucks. read more

Portions are huge so you really get bang for your food buck. I ordered the roast beef dinner. It comes with salad, french fries and onion rings. I asked for no onion rings and double salad but I don't think they heard me correctly as I got double french fries and regular salad. Regular salad was not very impressive. One cucumber, 1 olive, 1 tomato, 1 carrot slice and 1 green pepper on a bed of lettuce. I hope that wasn't double salad. The fries were delicious. Very nice flavor. The roast beef was just okay. I got it with pickle and tomato with mayo but it was dry and the bun was over heated. Very staff and good prices so I'd go back and try another item off of their extensive menu. Called the restaurant a few days before to inquire about catering a birthday party at Cowabunga's down the road on a Sunday. George was very accommodating and our order was big enough for him to take the order for a day they were typically closed. He also help make recommendations for amount of food needed for 40 kids and 40 adults. Delivered food on time and piping hot. Pizza was delicious and among the best pizza we have had in the area. We have been ordering from this place for so long. Today we ordered food $50 worth of food. We received the chicken wings, and they were burnt along with only drumsticks not wings. I called them and told them about the issue. Her response was sorry we cook them like that to make sure they are done and some people, Just order drumsticks .. Ugh no I order from you guys all the and they are not burnt and I always get both drumsticks and wings together.. I asked if she could send me out new ones and she said no sorry we can't do that and the hung up the phone on me! Reading House of Pizza is a hidden gem. This place RULES. We are always on the hunt for an excellent kabob salad and/or sub actually done correctly. The kabob recipe for subs and salads at this place is exceptional. Seasoned amazingly, cooked perfectly. Chicken is always juicy, tender, and superior quality. Lots of small "pizza & sub" joints like to ghetto out on the chicken - not this place. Top notch every time. I also ordered a few slices of "Hawaiian" pizza from this place and there were so many slices of pineapple and chunks of ham they were tumbling off the slice with every bite. Plus, there is an art gallery for waiting customers....should they choose to view artwork by community artists.
