Eating House is the perfect spot for a special occasion or catching up with friends. I had a fantastic experience for my birthday; our server, Marisol, was attentive and offered excellent suggestions. My cocktail, the Black Parade, was unique and delicious--the gin, strawberry, and St. Germain blended beautifully with the activated charcoal. For a starter, the tuna crudo was incredibly fresh, perfectly complemented by the guava sauce and pickled onions. My short rib entree was tender, though the true star was the Tuscan kale with a sherry demi-glace. I have to figure out how to recreate that kale at home! My mate also thoroughly enjoyed the wagyu burger, which was tender and memorable. We finished with the "dirt cup." The combination of vanilla ice cream and cookie crumbles was great, but the hazelnuts stole the show with their addictive crunch. Overall, I had a fantastic meal and highly recommend Eating House.

Great meal at Eating House! Every bite was delicious and service was great. The carbonara was everything a carbonara should be. Loved every cocktail. Really knocked it pit of the park with the Cap'n Crunch desert. Nice vibe and not too loud. Great find on a work trip to Miami.

Omg the Capt crunch pancakes are the devil!! One bite and you can't resist to keep eating it. They are the best dessert like pancakes I have ever had and is a definite MUST!!! We were celebrating besties birthday brunch here. We were a comfortable party of 5. Place is modern and open and in a very popular area of the Gables. We all started with refreshing cocktails and the loaded tots to share. The truffle was definitely a great added touch to the tots and I highly recommend. Around the table was the eggs carbonara, chicken and waffles, and the french onion burger, they were all a hit and bellies were all satisfied. Place just has a great atmosphere for all occasions. Definite spot for any eats and libations.

Had a great experience. Made it on time to get a drink during Happy Hour which was nice. We went for an early anniversary dinner and were pleasantly surprised with some Prosecco. We opted for the pumpkin spice dinner menu which was delicious. Everything was tasty but The Burrata appetizer was the winner. Looking forward to going back. Efraín was wonderful.

What a meal!!! Got to go with friends during Spice and it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Food: Fantastic. Vibe: Spot On. Service: Wonderful. 100% the best sea bass I've ever had in my life. We were four people, and since three ordered the Spice menu, we got to try everything. In addition we got the tater tot appetizer. I'm telling everyone about how delicious everything was. I couldn't recommend enough!

A staple near Miracle Mile in Gables. We started with the caviar dip, and let me just say--wow. It was luxurious without being pretentious, served with perfectly crisp accompaniments that let the briny richness of the caviar shine. It set the tone for what would be an unforgettable meal. For the entrée, I went with the slow cooked Short Rib, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Tender, flavorful, and paired with red wine that elevated the meal exquisitely. Every bite was a masterclass in balance and boldness. The ambiance is effortlessly cool--graffiti art meets modern elegance. The open kitchen adds a layer of excitement, and the plant wall gives it a fresh, vibrant feel. It's the kind of place where you want to linger, sip a cocktail, and savor the moment. Service was top-notch. Our server was knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about the menu. You could tell the staff takes pride in what they do, and it shows. Whether you're celebrating something special or just treating yourself, Eating House is a must-visit. Chef Giorgio Rapicavoli continues to push boundaries in the best way possible.

Glad to be back and I'll definitely return. Had the 420 menu with the PG-13 mocktail alongside some friends. Though I don't do wagyu or beef ribs, I was GRATEFUL for the check replacing my beef options for chicken. He could've said no (because it was set menu) but he went above and beyond and that spoke volumes! That part was 5/5. The first three starters were DELICIOUS! Crudo with crunchy chips sprinkled with tajin, the shrimp with the Indian dipping sauce (the pinch of lime elevated it) and the snoop dog (mine was made with chicken). The main entrees were the chicken Parmesan bao bun (my favorite) and the ribs (sub chicken). The chicken was too crunchy but whereas in the bao bun, it was cooked to perfection (needed a little more marinara sauce). The sauce for the "rib" was incredible! The corn and bbq sauce combo was great! The desserts were good, but the chocolate one was way too sweet and no one finished it and there were 6 of us. The ice cream sandwich was yummy, but it would've been better with vanilla ice cream instead of matcha. I know matcha is popular but it wasn't (in my opinion) the right pairing for the concept. The ambiance was vibing with a 420 movie and old school hip hop playing in the background. It was cool and the vibes were great! Lenny, our great server, was attentive, on point with service and delivered excellence. Looking forward to returning. Enjoy!

I love eating house. The first time I came here a raved about the Brussel sprout Ceasar salad - I had it this time on their Miami spice menu and it's still just as amazing. I love the mix of hot and cold. The short rib was phenomenal. Every bite was good and it could be pulled apart with my fork. And the dessert duty cup is not only delicious but sooo cute how it comes out like a cute little plant. Now a word about the service and ambience. The ambience is cool, they have a dark and moody vibe going on. However, they need to better arrange their tables. We got sat in a back corner, despite making a reservation, and more than half the time we were passing servers plates and cups because it was impossible to get through to us. The service was great, until the end when our waiter gave us some serious attitude. I asked if the check could be divided separate ways and he said no but we could use multiple cards. He said he was going to come back with the credit card machine that way we could just tell him what we ordered and pay. He came back and I told him what I ordered and he said "I'm making an exception this time for you guys". I'm sorry, what exception? You literally just said we could pay with separate cards. He also walked away as I was paying and left the credit card machine sitting at our table. And he was shaking his head "no" the entire time he took our payments. His attitude at the end really put a bad taste in my mouth on the whole experience. TL;DR: great food, pour seating arrangements, service is good but server had attitude over payment.

The ambiance is nice. It's definitely a a more upscale place. The service is phenomenal the waiters were very attentive. The loaded tots were very good and probably the best thing on the menu. The breakfast burrito was pretty good. The ranch they use here is delicious. The Captain crunch pancakes weren't very good. The flavor was ok but the pancakes were burnt and soggy. This place is also very expensive. I'd give this place a 3.6/5

Soft baked potato rolls and Caviar tater tots

Dinner at Eating House with my boyfriend and honestly... still thinking about it. We sat outside on a Saturday night and the vibe was perfect. Our waiter was super attentive and basically built our whole order for us -- every recommendation hit. First thing that surprised us was the bread rolls. Definitely not your typical bread and butter situation. They were super soft, warm, and honestly addicting. The caviar tater tots? Insane. I genuinely still crave them. The pasta carbonara was creamy, rich, and full of flavor without feeling too heavy. The wagyu burger was cooked perfectly and tasted unreal. And the espresso martinis??? Easily some of the best we've had in Miami. Overall such a good experience from start to finish. Definitely one of those places you leave already planning your next visit.

I came her with high recommendations to celebrate my mom's birthday. The menu sounded noticing and had good options. We got convinced to do the pumpkin spice menu and to make it for 3 servings. The laugh we had when the appetizers came out... I feel one person could've eaten this. The flavors of the tuna in my opinion did not go well together. The burrata was very good, but again small. The short rib came with the same amount of pieces it would've came with had we ordered off that menu. The ravioli was good but felt it didn't vibe well all the other flavors. The food was good, but like individually. The rolls were incredible and I'd recommend them. Our waitress Marisol was very nice and made our experience enjoyable. I'd come back again but probably would be cautious about the speciality menus.

I did the tasting menu at the eating house and everything that I had was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and I was very happy with every single thing I had to eat. I ate it so fast. I almost forgot to take pictures. The bread and butter was surprisingly delicious. Delicious. It blew me away and the carbonara pasta was awesome. Highly recommend the restaurant has romantic vibes and great service.

Can never go wrong with this place, the food is always phenomenal and I was blown away on my last visit with their bread rolls. Love the fact that they always provide a seasonal tasting menu to keep things interesting, for the price point I've yet to find any better tasting menus in Miami.

Unfortunately, the illusion fades rather quickly. The first sign of trouble arrives with the server sporting a rather impressive lip piercing, followed closely by a colleague whose diamond nose stud could probably be seen from space. Not exactly the ambiance one expects when aiming for "elegant." Despite the abundance of servers floating around the dining room, none seem to notice when your knife dramatically dives off the table and lands on the floor -- where it enjoys a long, lonely stay. Water service is also quite innovative: they simply leave the entire bottle at the table, which seems less about generosity and more about avoiding the inconvenience of returning to refill your glass. The food? Sadly just as uninspired. From the octopus to the $68 Milanese, every dish managed the impressive feat of being completely flavorless. The Milanese arrived with a beautiful crust, which raised hopes... until you realized there was no sauce, no garnish, and nothing to rescue what turned out to be a remarkably bland plate. Meanwhile, the staff appears deeply committed to minimizing effort -- though not shy about judging you directly when the tip doesn't meet their expectations. All in all, this place feels like fine dining in costume. Perhaps a return to the basics of hospitality and service would be a good start... followed by a serious conversation with whoever is currently in the kitchen. Good luck to anyone brave enough to give it a try.

They had amazing team work to provide the perfect high class dinning for guest. I never had to think about water being refilled, wine glass being refilled, or crumbs on the table. They checked in with us just enough. Price: If you have drinks, apps, entree, and dessert expect to spend around $300 or more. Portions: Not the largest portions for "family size" but if it's just two it may be filling enough because they give you bread, cheese, cured meats, and pickled cauliflower for the appetizers. Overall, this is one of our favorite spots and it's truly worth the hype. For it being F1 weekend it was not as hectic as expected.

I had high expectations for Carbone, especially given its reputation, but unfortunately, my…read moreexperience left me feeling disappointed. THE FOOD The food itself wasn't the problem- the value was. Charging nearly $200 for a 2.5-pound lobster and serving what appeared to be no more than 10 ounces of meat is unacceptable. I've ordered lobster countless times, and this was nowhere close to what should come from a lobster of that size. It honestly felt like a bait-and-switch. At Carbone's prices and reputation, I expected transparency and quality, not to leave wondering if I had just paid hundreds of dollars for an empty shell. It completely overshadowed the rest of the meal and left a terrible impression. THE SERVICE Our wait staff was excellent- friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. When I raised my concern about the lobster, however, there wasn't a meaningful solution offered. The manager did bring out complimentary meatballs and two slices of cake, which was appreciated, but it didn't address the actual issue. I requested the veal entrée (about $125) as a gesture of goodwill, but that request was denied. I left feeling that my concerns were acknowledged but not truly resolved. THE VIBE The ambiance is everything you'd expect from Carbone- stylish, energetic, and full of old-school charm. It's a beautiful restaurant with a lively atmosphere, making it a great place for a special occasion. Ultimately, the atmosphere and attentive wait staff weren't enough to make up for what felt like poor value and an unsatisfactory resolution to a legitimate concern. At this level of dining, guests should leave feeling impressed--not questioning whether they received what they paid for. Our total bill was close to $1000. UNACCEPTABLE.
