(2 stars because it was my first time here and I haven't had the chance to try their ice cream/other desserts) but I just had the most horrible grilled cheese :( I spent $16!!!! on the apple & bacon grilled cheese for the employee to say they didn't have any apples after I had already paid for it (I added arugula) but when I opened up the sandwich the sourdough bread was stale and wasn't even toasted. The cheese was overkill and not really melted. And the bacon was so greasy. I'm really bummed about this sandwich next time I'll save my money and make it myself!

UPDATE: Came here again after the store manager reached out to me. ONCE AGAIN HORRIBLE SERVICE! First my partner tried to ask something about the menu and the girl didn't even listen to her straight away was like no then walked away. Then I was looking in the sweets cabinet and the cashier kept pressuring me anything else, anything else. I felt so rushed and there was no one behind me. The service here is terrible not welcoming at all. Which sucks because the food here is good. I'm up for second chances but this place is gonna take a lot of work.

Love Eats and Sweets! This has been one of the few places I frequent during Covid, and they are doing amazing! I love the atmosphere inside and that they have so much different options to eat. Try the Tofu Sandwich! You can add all sorts of fun vegetarian add ons. They have great ice cream as well. It can get a bit crowded in there but there's a lot of seating.

Bomb dot Com! We were in the area a while back, and the kids wanted to get Ice Cream and a bite to eat, low and behold we found a two for one. They have great sandwiches and ice cream. Though at the time they were a bit understaffed, and some of the items took a serious amount of time to get... Like 20+minutes. We waited though, and were patient and they apologized for the delay. In the end all of it was worth the wait, and everyone enjoyed what we had ordered. If in the area we would certainly stop by again. I highly recommend the Banana Bread Ice Cream Sandwich!!! 10/10.

I am a fan & I love supporting a local creamery (Boulder Ice Cream) & a local establishment. Their prices are 1/2 of what the other local ice creamery over in Louisville charge & the ice cream is better. My only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that I find the customer service to always be somewhat 'chilly' (a smile would be nice & not acting exasperated) every time I've been in (this is with several different employees) and today's 'single' scoop was only 5 bites (I counted). I call a 5 bite scoop a 'kids scoop' not a single scoop. Other than that, the location is great and I really like their ice cream selection. read more

We stopped by today after going to the nearby WOW kids museum and we had an excellent lunch. The sandwiches were reasonably priced, large, and custom made with dozens of options for toppings, dressings, and fillings. The soup was delicious, and the cheese and bacon quiche was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't have any sweets this time, but given the rave reviews by other yelpers we will be back to try them soon. read more

I really want to love this place. I've gone in several times over the few years I have lived in the area and gotten a variety of different things from pie to cake to ice cream. Nothing has ever been bad, but I am not left with a need to return. I love pie, and their mini pie is a great idea which I was super excited to get last time I was in. I found the crust to be a bit dry and the filling more jelly than fruit. Customer service has always been great, which is a big part of why I've gone back so many times. I like to support local businesses and know everyone can have an off day. I'm not a super big fan of ice cream, which seems to be what people normally get here. Perhaps this is a place for ice cream lovers. read more

I order cookies and sandwiches from here and had them delivered. In my order, I indicated that I had a tree nut allergy. Not only did they acknowledge my allergy, they called to let me know that they would be making fresh cookies to ensure my order was nut free. Very impressed with the care they took in my order. This place was delicious! I only tried the desserts but I'm sure next time I'm in town I will try the soups and sandwiches too. I had the cheesecake, which was highly recommended (and for good reason). It had two layers of different consistency, which made for an interesting and very creamy cheesecake. I also tried the pear pie, which I took home and heated up. It was also very good. Good crust and filling. The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave great suggestions and I would definitely return here. Very kid friendly and a nice atmosphere. read more

This is the fourth 5-star review in a row, so if you're reading this take the hint and check this place out! I stopped in here by chance one morning with my two daughters, one of which was a baby. I have never in my life seen a place that was so great for both adults and kids of any age. My 8 year old went nuts over the hot chocolate bar. Yes, they have a bar of fixins with marshmallows, candy canes, sprinkles, and more. It was great. I had an excellent sandwich that was made on the spot by the very friendly owner. They had a stash of toys that my baby girl just loved. The kids were able to have fun and feel welcome, and I had a great meal and good time. read more

My mother brought me a mini peach pie and it was divine! Not usually a fan of fruit pies but this was perfect. Update 5/3/12 I am ADDICTED to the carrot cupcakes omg soooo good. The frosting is fluffy and is like clouds covered in syrup or something.... Idk but it's freaking yum read more

OMG I love this place. Udi's is like a stone's throw from my work but I'm never very thrilled about their sandwiches & salads (plus its super expensive). I remembered this place and although its a 10 minute drive its well worth the coupla extra minutes! Love the BYO sandwich/salad & the mix & match (1/2 sandwich or quiche with soup or salad). Eating their egg salad sand. on gluten free bread right now - the egg salad has some zest to it that really makes it stand out. Only hard part is walking away without getting a banana bread ice cream sandwich! read more

Eats and Sweets is a great little ice cream shop that's a lot of fun for kids. We love stopping in in the summer after our daughter plays in the neighboring fountain. The owner is usually behind the counter offering helpful friendly service and like another poster mentioned, the banana bread ice cream sandwich is pretty darn good. Definitely stop in some time! read more

The customer service could not have been better---and the dessert was amazing. I live out of state but asked about placing an order for a birthday cake delivery in a nearby town. They were incredibly helpful with taking the order and delivery, with no extra charge!! My friend received the chocolate cake with butter cream frosting, freshly made that morning and said it was amazing. In fact everyone at her office is now making this a regular stop to try all the other treats. Thanks so much Eats and Sweets! Can't wait to visit when I am in CO! read more

Just had the BEST cupcake EVER in my life. I actually got them for my children but my daughter was kind enough to share some. My only regret is not getting my own. I've been here before and I have enjoyed their sandwiches and the kids like the ice cream. It's a great mom & pop local shop! I think the third time was a charm for me and they finally have my heart. Stopped in on a Thursday to order a cake for Saturday... I went right in the middle of a busy lunch hour... Bobby was super nice and helpful. I wasn't sure what size would accommodate the party- he could easily have let me pay more for more than I needed, but instead was truly consultative. I needed an "army themed" cake for my 7 yo, and they delivered a fantastic cake, which tasted as good as it looked! This place is everything a local business should be! We've taken the kids for ice cream before, but I'll definitely be stopping in for lunch as well! read more

Great people, great food. Doesn't get any simpler than that. I go there every week for at least one meal. Their chocolate peanut butter bars are my favorite. Good dietary options, including gluten free bread, vegetarian options, and dairy free treats! The people are great. They are one of the biggest reasons to return again and again. There are times of day when they get really busy and food takes a really long time to get unless you are just getting a quick little treat. Decent ice cream selection, and great baked goods selection. There seems to be something for everyone here. read more

I completely understand that things can get busy, but it would be helpful if customers were given a heads-up when menu items are running significantly behind. If açaí bowls consistently take that long to prepare, it may be worth either adjusting expectations at the counter or reconsidering offering them during busy periods. Just wanted to share the feedback because I've genuinely enjoyed my previous experiences here.

Others come close if you're craving…read moreother foods, but you really can't beat the wonderful and simple food that William Oliver's offers. To start off- it's a pretty simple location. It's actually quite easy to miss with Teocalli having way more business just one street down. It's got a lovely interior with lots of wood and a nice rooftop patio. Walking in, I wouldn't think much of it. The menu is relatively simple with some appetizers, salads, hot dogs, sandwiches, and some other things. Where this place shines is their bacon, and by extension their sandwiches. Multiple people I've gone with have said the JGBLT is the best sandwich they've ever had. It's certainly up there for me, just behind panino I've had in Italy. It's nothing complicated, but each part of the sandwich is so well done that the finished product is understated and overwhelming. So good. It's also the perfect portion, every time. It doesn't seem to matter how hungry I am when I come in. They have an excellent beer list with lots of things to choose from. The whiskey menu is absolutely insane, and the whiskey flights are necessary to digest it. A small thing that is really nice- their sodas. It's not just coca cola or Pepsi products- they have craft sodas, which are really excellent. Additionally, you can get their non alcoholic cocktails for the same price as just a soda, which is lovely. The daily specials are always fantastic and a good way to get something unexpected. I will be extremely sad when I have to move from Lafayette, as this restaurant is one of my favorites in the world.

The flavor was warm and cozy, and not too heavy. My friend got the caramel latte and that tasted sweeter than mine but also really good! I love that their flavors are homemade. That's one of the things I look for in a quality coffee spot! There are cute mugs, prints, and plants for sale. Their medium 12 oz latte came in a mug that didn't have a handle, which was unique to me. Definitely worth a visit if you live around here or are in the area!

That one was a chain, this is clearly a local family operation made fresh with from scratch recipes. The frosting dips were amazing as, though a sweet frosting were clearly made with genuine fruit. They hade a display case on the counter with one each of many flavors. As we chose the flavors we wanted, they seeped back and picked up freshly made donuts and dipped each into a container of the flavor requested . They then placed them into a box, no preset number required and why I never had a traditional Asian flavor at the place on my trip. We took them out into the food hall combined seating to sample them. We could not wait. The sad part about doing that is that set into the small box, they had stuck together in a sticky pile. Persisting them dry a little before packaging does have some benefits after all. Im not sure how to effectively do this though as the place is tiny and the line constant. Maybe a small reserve of not popular flavors would be worthwhile for busy Saturday mornings . It a close call between perfection and almost. Same with my stars, 4.5 would be perfect. We drove out that way for specialty local business for hiking gear repair and never knew how close this place is. We use another business nearby so we can stop here again later this winter. The flavors we got were ube( sweet potato) and surprising bland as I love sweet potato " anything"," strawberry, passion fruit and vanilla. My husband loves vanilla anything and felt it was a tie for me of strawberry and passion fruit. Park in the mall parking where you see the sign for The District and go in that door next to Otis Arts and Crafts and walk across the communal seating to the door for Nok's. The friendliness can't be beat!

I've placed three orders with Eats & Sweets and each order has been outstanding. I love their banana bread ice cream sandwiches and cupcakes. Their gluten free cupcakes are delicious, they also make gluten free banana bread. I've found that at other bakeries the cupcakes are dry, not here. They're perfect. Most recently I ordered a chocolate cake with raspberry filling. The cake was beautiful, moist, raspberries were fresh and the chocolate ganache icing was divine. It was one of the best cakes I've ever had. My 15 guests kept telling me how great of a job I did (i just ordered it!) and asked where the cake came from. Eats & Sweets is our go to bakery. As for the service, I've talked with Bobby and he's always kind and helpful. Eats & Sweets offers delicious baked goods and great customer service. read more

I am review #35...all of which are good, need I say more? Well I will, their service is awesome, Bobby cares about his customers. Their ice cream is good and free of added chemicals, which is a must if I am going to take my girls out for ice cream. In the summer months we go there 2-3 times a week. The location is perfect for the kids, it is right next to a plaza with a water fountain for the kids to play in, we tend to go there, let our girls play while my husband and I sit back and enjoy the evening. read more

I had a buffalo mozzarella sandwich with tomato, basil, sprouts, cucumbers, black olives and banana peppers that was out of this world delicious!! My friend had a ham and cheese that was totally delicious too. Then we had home made cheesecake that is better than any I have ever tasted. I couldn't recommend this place higher!! Our family would give a minus if available. Went there on a Sun AM for a treat. Store was empty. I ordered vanilla ice cream with brownies. The brownie was stale and tasted like it was bought from King Soopers in those large plastic containers. I took it back. At least they returned my $$. We will never go there again - rip off.
