My steak sandwich with garlic fries . Very tasty
    Michael C.

My wife and I just had delivery from here. It was greatly enjoyed. We got the jalapeño poppers for starter. Nice and crispy and still warm. Cheddar makes it better! My wife had the mushroom Swiss on the pretzel bun . Cooked correctly. Bun nice and soft. Steak fries. Everything nice and warm. I had the Philiy cheese steak . Yum! The bread was so fresh but held up well . Fresh mushrooms and pepper. I had the garlic fries , which were amazing. Not inexpensive but worth the extra on a day we didn't want to go out! I'm stuffed. Well played! We will be eating here again!

Sturdy "A" frame, built of memories. Legend has it that no matter where you stand, the sun always sets over the Ale house. If exotic meats is your thing, look no further than this safari. Would recommend to an old neighbor. Touchdown Lakers.

Service really lacked! Forgot to put our appetizer order in (deep fried bacon). Also brought us the incorrect beer, lights flickered repeatedly while we were there, and dropped items loudly clearing the adjacent table. Food was fair at best. Extra charge for wraps, limited salad offerings, no happy hour or daily food specials. Not impressive at all.

Ordered the chicken parmigiana sandwich with fries. the chicken was over cooked so it was hard around the edges. Not sure it I would go back but they might have some else I might try.

They have a great beer selection!

You get a beer card which is linked to the credit card you provided upon check in and then you go to the wide range of taps on the wall and fill up your glass. There's a little variety in the sizes and types of glassware to choose from. You are charged by oz, and the price is clearly displayed on the signage. I thought it was going to cost us much more to do it this way instead of sitting down and ordering a drink but we think it actually ended up being cheaper to drink this way. We decided to take a seat outside on the patio. It's a large area with games and plenty of different types of seating. You order through the QR code on the menu and your food gets delivered to your table. It came out fairly quick and we were hungry so we ordered way too much food. We tried the Mediterranean Chicken Flatbread which was really good and I highly recommend just getting that! Had the Mediterranean Salad. A nice sized portion and very fresh. Tried the 12 pc boneless wings. I don't normally like boneless wings but that is all they had. So we tried them. Not impressed. Very thick breading, no outstanding flavor. These felt like bar food, which is okay. It is a bar but in comparison to our delicious flatbread I was disappointed. Lastly we tried the Garlic Parmesan Cheese Curds. These were unlike any cheese curd I've had before. They were huge squares which felt like hunks of bread. I though they were too big and too cheesy for my tastebuds. It was a nice place to stop in while we were traveling through and a great day to sit out on the patio.

For me, vacations are anything but lazy…read more When it was time to return to Eau Claire for some shenanigans with Matt and Tim, I knew this go around would need to have some brewery action despite Tim and Matt not being big drinkers. I love visiting breweries and trying out local offerings. Lazy Monk was on my list of places to visit based on just the name alone, but their current beer list was looking pretty good, too. Tim and I (Matt was coming up the next day) dropped in around early dinner time and it was fairly quiet in the brewery. There were a few people chatting with the bartender when we went up to order some drinks. First and foremost, I grabbed a sticker and magnet before I would inevitably forget. I grabbed a flight of beers since a lot of them sounded really good. Unfortunately, the one beer I was really hyped to try was out until the next day. That was the kolsch. I ended up getting the Bohemian Pilsner Lager, Raspberry Lemon Shandy, Kristall Weiss, Mad Monk IPA, and Bohemian Dark Lager. The Mad Monk was really good. It was my favorite. The Kristall and Bohemian Pilsner Lager were really good, too. The Raspberry Lemon was good but not really my cup of beer. I got it to sample since I was taking home a 4-pack for Emily. As for the Dark Lager... not a fan at all. Not that it was gross but it just isn't for me. The bartender was super cool and took the time to explain all the beers I ordered, made great small talk and really made us feel welcome. Lazy Monk really leans into the German/Bohemian aspect. The exterior of the building has some strong German vibes and once you walk inside, it really feels like you walked into a bar in the middle of a small German town. I believe there is also an outdoor seating area but we only saw it while we were out walking around. If you find yourself in Eau Claire and want a really chill place to grab some beer, Lazy Monk is the place to go.

No food here but you can bring in anything you like and eat it inside. Nice meals, occasionally have some special events and live music, you have to check their social media for those updates. They have a Mug club for regulars. Always great service from personable bartenders. They really know the regulars. Occasionally you'll catch the owner slinging beer too. No TV or jukebox so you can actually have a conversation. The acoustics can make it a little echoey at times however, especially if there's a lot of people inside.

A group of my teenage friends went to Reboot and enjoyed a very nice meal with a very nice server…read more When we finished our meal, my group was discussing how much we were tipping. We split our checks, and our meals were around $13-$17. Three out of six of us tipped over $20, one paid for her $8 meal with a $10 bill and told the server to keep the change, one tipped less than $20, and one didn't get anything. In context, our discussion was about trying to one-up each other with our tips, and a random server, with no context, said something along the lines of, "If you guys are going to be tipping low, I suggest you don't speak so loud." We explained that we were not tipping low, but she then reported us to the manager on duty. We thanked our server for helping us, and before heading downstairs, we were discussing our tips while passing the manager. The manager stopped us and said that we didn't have to be rude and that we shouldn't be rude to her servers or we would be kicked out. I explained to her that we were not being rude, that we tipped her server well, and that we appreciated Reboot since the majority of us have been there often. I then explained that we were not trying to be rude to her or her servers, and I apologized if she felt that way. I explained that we would be downstairs hanging out and having fun if that was alright with her. She disregarded everything I said and repeated that if we kept being rude, we would be kicked out. We headed downstairs, and the darts were broken, which wasted many of our tokens, but we did not want to bother the staff more than we clearly already had, so we spent the rest of the night playing pool. I have never had a bad experience at Reboot until now and feel like, as customers, our feelings were not heard. We did tip well and feel as though we were being stereotyped for being teenagers. We believe it wasn't right for the other server to be rude to us or report us to her manager, especially out of context. The server that did help us we thanked him for his service and told him to have a nice night.
