Nachos dinner at Ebenezer Ale House across the parking lot from the Rusty Nickel Brewery. Probably the biggest happy hour plate of nachos I've ever seen. Since its opening in 2011, the Ebenezer Ale House has quickly become not only one of the best restaurants in West Seneca, but also the authority on craft beer in the Buffalo region. Owner Nate Springer has worked tirelessly to create a destination that all can enjoy. The Ebenezer Ale House features the perfect marriage of a mouth-watering menu and one of the best craft beer selections in Western New York. With everything from bronzed, bacon wrapped shrimp to delicious specialty pizzas, their menu is broad enough for everyone to find something they can enjoy. The beer is always flowing with 24 constantly-rotated taps including many hard-to-find flavors. Alongside many other countless bottles of craft beer and plenty of special events, the Ebenezer Ale House is the premier craft beer connoisseur in all of Western New York.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with my experience. My friend and I visited on Thursday night, and while the service was great, the food was disappointing. We ordered nachos, but the chicken was unappetizing and had a grayish hue. We could not eat it and ended up with stomach aches. I also ordered a roast beef sandwich, but I felt off from the nachos and decided to box it up. The next day when I went to take a bite, I noticed what looked like blood on the sandwich. I reached out via email and Instagram but never received a response. I'm very upset and won't be returning. The atmosphere was fine and there was a ton of people in there, but I would never eat there again unfortunately.

French onion soup 10/10 Probably one of the best soups I've had in Buffalo. The broth flavor was fantastic. I can also tell they toasted the bread before putting it in, the edges had a tiny bit of crunch left to it. Onions were cooked down perfectly. And the cheese was amazing. Sausage platter 9/10 Chorizo- great flavor and spices. Bratwurst - fantastic. great snap to the casing. Cook, flavor and smokiness was great too Andouille - good flavor. Spicy. Queso dip - not a huge fan really. Creole sauce - good flavor. Like a warm and southern seasoned salsa German mustard Crostinis

We have eaten here a few times now and have enjoyed everything we had. This was the first time I had their chicken fingers and liked that they were actually house made! My wife tends to the same salad, every time it's a little different but it's a great salad!

Lunch time review, Restaurant was very clean and we were immediately seated upon entering. Waitress was very friendly and attentive through the visit and had our drink and food order in just a few minutes. I ordered a single wing, and opted for the wet Cajun and I was not disappointed. Very meaty and crispy the only negative was I wish there was a little more bleu cheese. That little baby cup definitely was enough for 3 wings, but with that much meat and celery a little more would have been appreciated.

I've been coming to Ebenezer's for the past ....lets just say, it's been a long time. Going further, I honesty can say I've never had a bad experience here. Well, let me take that back. I had to use the bathroom and the cleaning lady was taking forever. LOL Any way, I love the ambience, the crowd, the food and, the bloody Mary's are on point! There's always a good beer selection for the beer geeks. I also love, love, love they allow dogs on the patio especially because I take my Boonsri everywhere with me. I'm a pescatarian and they have a lot of options and for vegetarians. The owners are very personable and always are here to make sure you are satisfied with your experience. In my opinion, come to Ebs! You won't be disappointed!!

I've been here so many times, I can't believe I've never reviewed it before. It was a beautiful fall day, but the outdoor deck was so busy we opted for a calmer atmosphere and sat indoors. Service was a tad slow, but we're getting used to that everywhere we go, what with bars and restaurants all having staffing issues. I was tempted to order the Green House sandwich: grilled zucchini, roasted red peppers and red onions, baby spinach, pesto mayo. Sounds delicious, but I can never resist shrimp tacos. They were pretty good, It was unusual to find green bell pepper on a shrimp taco, but I didn't mind it at all. My friend ordered The Betty: a monstrous construction of roasted turkey, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato and mayo on toasted sourdough. Rave review for this one. Good selection of beer, wine and specialty cocktails. Prices in line with other comparable taverns. This has always been one of our go-to lunch spots, since it's conveniently located for all of us, they have plenty of parking, and a menu with enough choices to please everyone in our party. We'll be back.

A solid A here. Great roast beef on kimmelwick, German potato salad, wings, and fish fry.

Always loved this place especially the double decker Ruben, but last two times they were out of them at 5:30 ? Really?. I tried the special meat lovers burger- hamburger, a sausage patty, pulled port and bacon! I asked for med / medium rare it was more towards well! It was till very good and flavorful ! My wife had the fish fry , it was cool and soggy like it was sitting on a shelf for a long time. The fries was limp and cool too. It was NOT busy and the service was very, very slow! Disappointed!!!

Great restaurant in the heart of West Seneca. April the bartender is the best! We ordered blueberry and garlic parm wings and the happy hour special of jerk chicken strips. The blueberry wings were just okay. They were sweet, which was good, but they needed something else in the sauce. Maybe lemon to add a little acidity and to compliment the blueberry. The chicken strips with honey mustard dip were crunchy and had good flavor. I'd love to try other items from their extensive menu.

The chicken wings were great along with the drink. The waitress was very nice. The price was excellent 75 cent a wing on Sunday's. It was nice and relaxed in here.

After seeing his dinner though, I was kicking myself for not ordering food. Recently, I had the opportunity to rectify that and I'm glad I did! Around 5:30pm on a Thursday, I pulled into the huge parking lot (which looking at my first review, is now paved!) and found a spot pretty close to the main entrance. Walking in, there's a host stand straight ahead with a brewery to the right and the dining room to the left. I took a moment to wander around and came away impressed with how large The Ridge West Seneca is. Afterward, I found most of my group had been seated at a both right near the entrance. Cups and glass bottles of water were spread out and menus were laid in front of us. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted to order but looking over the menu, The Ridge has a great variety of food. Our waitress was great with our group of five, one being a (almost) two-year-old. Our waitress was friendly, personable, did a great job checking on us throughout the evening, I know I was at ease throughout the evening. After a few minutes looking at the menu, we all placed our orders and then sat back and caught up. As I mentioned earlier, it's very spacious inside with music playing over the speakers, some TVs playing sports, and plenty of people enjoying the evening. I've seen The Ridge advertise their outdoor patio and seeing it in person, it looked awesome! The turnaround time from ordering to our dinners arriving was very reasonable, what I would expect for a group our size. For dinner, I ordered their Rustler Burger (8 oz. burger topped with cheddar cheese, a couple strips of bacon, BBQ sauce, crispy onion strings, fried jalapenos, and siracha aioli between a toasted brioche bun), cooked "medium", with a side of fries and their roasted red pepper fry sauce. The burger was excellent!! A hearty patty, cooked to a perfect "medium", topped with nice, big, crispy pieces of bacon, nicely melted cheddar cheese and plenty of crispy onion strings and fried jalapenos on both the top and bottom! The siracha aioli was creamy with a nice spicy, slightly sweet flavor. The fries were cooked perfectly - not soft but not crunchy, perfectly crispy and nicely seasoned. The roasted red pepper fry sauce had a thick texture and great, almost smoky flavor. They have several other fry sauces to pick from so I'll switch it up the next time I come. The portion sizes here are excellent - I've been to other restaurants where their side of fries is... weak, but The Ridge West Seneca, between the generous amount of fries and the big burger, I was far from disappointed! For the price, between the excellent quality and great portions, I thought the price was in-line, very reasonable! I, and the group I was with, had a great experience at The Ridge West Seneca! Friendly staff, great food (both quality and portions), and a cool atmosphere. Whenever I have friends or family in town, I would not hesitate bringing them to The Ridge West Seneca - I know I'm looking forward to coming back again!

We got the Viking Stinger Mac and Sunrise Smash burger. Both phenomenal dishes, and the French fries were some of the best I've had in the area. Make sure that if you're getting the Mac that you're ready to carb load because this was definitely not a healthy dish but a great indulgence. The restaurant itself has a relaxed atmosphere with indoor and outdoor dining along with a bar. Inside was a bit noisier so we went outside and even though it's off a main road, the vibe was still good. Service was quick for a Sunday evening. We will definitely be back at this location soon!

Filled with plenty of fresh greens, quinoa, tomatoes and lots of chicken. Shaved Parmesan cheese and walnuts made a delicious complement to the other ingredients and the pesto vinaigrette was the perfect dressing! My wife loved her apple salad with shredded kale, wild rice, apple, dried cranberry, toasted almonds and plenty of roasted chicken. She substituted mozzarella cheese for the goat cheese that is normally in the salad for a slight up charge. The salad is finished off with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The orange dreamsicle smoothie was also excellent. Made with banana, orange, vanilla and almond milk... a tasty sweet treat to enjoy with my salad. The service was excellent as well. The friendly and knowledgeable staff helped me decide on which Smoothie to order as I was mulling over the Raspberry, Strawberry and Orange Dreamsicle. We both liked how we received a choice regarding the amount of dressing we wanted for our salad. Light, medium, heavy or on the side. Being a dressing lover I opted for heavy dressing, while my wife asked for hers somewhere between light and medium. She probably should have just gone with medium as it seemed not quite enough for her taste. Homegrown is set up where you order at the counter and can watch as the staff creates your salad or bowl. There was plenty of seating to handle the lunch crowd which grew as we dined at our table. I would definitely recommend Homegrown for your next outing for a quick, healthy and delicious lunch or dinner. We will definitely be back!

Honestly, how nice would it be to have someone make a salad like this for me regularly?! The only drawback is the price. My bowl was ~$20, which felt a little steep for a salad.
