This sports bar is located in a strip mall, sharing a parking lot with a 7-Eleven. The front of the bar is roped off: It can be difficult to discern which of the four doors is the entrance. (Hint: In Winter, it's the far right door). Lots of TV screens above the bar as you enter. All of them are tuned to current or previous games. The bartender who took my order was very friendly. My sister and I stopped in late on a Wednesday night. We were so relieved to see a full parking lot, we had tried 3 or 4 businesses in the village and everyone was closing down. We were sooooo thankful pierce Ave was open. We got a nice spot at the bar. I wish they had those hooks under the bar for your coat/purse, but otherwise it was perfect. I got a mocktail that I thought was a little odd, it had Orange Juice and Blue curacao in it, so it had a brown color to it and looked muddy... as far as I understand, Blue curacao should be used to make drinks as visually appealing as possible, so they might want to rethink that mocktail. Anyway, my sister and I ordered wings and we loved them, they were Buy one order get one order free, so basically, the best wing deal in town! It was my first time going to the Pierce Ave Bar & Grill and it was a nice time. They have a very cool atmosphere inside and nice bar area to watch sports games. Outside has some fireplace seating which looked nice. We tried the pretzel appetizer which is HUGE! Very good. I was surprised the cheese dipping sauce was cold though. The Chicken Bacon Ranch dip was very good! I had the garlic parm wings and they were delicious. I would say the service was a bit slow. It took close to 30 mins after putting in our appetizer order to get the appetizers. Then our dinner came out right after so we were rushing eating. The server we had was friendly though. I was excited to try this place! Ordered a large pizza for pick up, when checking the pizza I noticed it was a small pizza. I gave them a call they assured me they made me a large pizza and that they just shrink in the oven but they offered to make me another one if I could pick up, I declined. The manager was helpful, but I'm just not sure how someone thought this was a large pizza. We won't be returning but just thought others should be aware! Server was polite and kind. Wanted a margarita. Found out it was made with sour mix and triple sec. She didn't even know what Grand Mariner was, Manhattan was on the drink menu, but not available because they do not have vermouth. Beer came out not cold. Stuffed hot pepper rolls are in an egg roll wrapper, this is not an actual roll filled with sausage. Twice this week, here and another place, tried pizza logs... both places served a cheese stick wrapped in salami and an egg roll wrapper. What happened to the real pizza logs. Real pepperoni, mozzarella in fried pizza dough? This Cisco version does not make the grade, especially when a restaurant has the ingredients to do it right. Also, fish sandwich was not available. This is how we ended up with wings. Will give them credit for those, they were crispy and appropriately hot. Heater outside was not working at it was 63 outside. Umbrellas were all up too. My advice would be, Sun is out, remove the umbrellas, it's cool, put the heat on. I will try to post a pic of the mozarella shells (we ordered sticks, but they were literally bread lined with a skin of cheese. I don't write this to complain as much as to help a restaurant survive in this location. The app sampler can be had at home from some Tyson frozen bags. The chicken tenders were overcooked and very rubbery. Lots of chicken/ thick cut but a tough bite. With drinks on the menu they couldn't make, no fish, no heater, the visit was more disappointment than success. I also never got a sauce that was supposed to have hot sauce and Parmesan that the server recommended. I can accept a let down or two, but this was just too many. Service great. Product availability was poor, quality of 80% of our meal was poor. I hope they can make some good changes and do well. read more

I like to give new local restaurants a boost, so I will start with the positive. The service at the bar was friendly and attentive. It's an attractive location with a fun sports bar atmosphere. Drink prices are reasonable. I went on a Friday and ordered a fish fry to go. However, I was disappointed. The batter was almost burnt, likely from being fried in oil that was much overdue to be changed. The fish itself was dry. It was advertised as cod, which is normally not a dry fish, but I don't think it was cod. It was probably haddock. I know, many people prefer haddock, but I seek out cod which is one reason I wanted to try the fish fry here. I only ask that the product match the description on the menu. Also, the menu said there would be a roll, but none was included. The sides were minimal serving sizes. The "chips" were OK but they also had that old frying oil taste. Also, the cost was a bit higher than most restaurants charge for a fish fry. Lastly, I had a draft Labbats at the bar while awaiting my takeout and it was flat. However, I do want this business to succeed and I hope to come back and try other items on the menu and update to a higher rating. That said, I will avoid the Friday fish fry. read more

We stopped here on 2/28 at about 4 pm for an early dinner. We were greeted at the door, and promptly seated. (It is chilly inside, so be warned if you run cold, as I do!) We ordered French onion soup, a salad with apples and bacon, and 20 wings. All drinks are on a QR code and we don't partake, so we ordered what we saw signs for, but they will show you a drink menu on a bar phone. All food was good. Soup was salty but deliciously so. Salad was amazing and the wings were excellent. We will be back. Why? Service. They care enough to help any customer find what works for them. I watched this at the bar, at our table and around us. Very nice, modern restaurant with pleasant staff. Great pizza and fried bologna sandwiches and fish fry on Fridays.

Food is not any better than any other business that has been in this location. Burger was meh in flavor and the Chicken Fingers on the sub are very small and lacking in portion. Place is a lot nicer than previous businesses (which is nice). The bathroom finally got an update so that's something At least Pizza and Pints SUBS were good. read more
