This company (Tacoma branch) moved my 13,000lbs of household goods from Federal Way to a private storage facility south of Bellingham on Aug 5/6. I got my initial in-home estimate from Kirk in their customer service department, and he was great about answering follow-up questions. He also recommended things like looking for private temporary storage (since their company storage is very, very expensive) as well as other ways to save some money on the move. Jay and his crew of four other men showed up on time with two 26ft trucks, ready to go. They did a fabulous job getting the furniture padded and wrapped and moved out all my self-packed boxes and the weird garage stuff that can't go into boxes. They were cheerful, friendly and very polite throughout and asked for clarifications from me as necessary. They were also great about handling one complication in my move - some of my household goods were being delivered to my daughter's house a few miles from the storage unit, so that added a layer of planning as they were loading the trucks. The only snafu was that there was some confusion about whether the trucks were to head straight to Bellingham that day (NO!) or the next morning after I was up there. I think they had some communication issues in the office that day (but I'm sure that will be straightened out going forward). The crew texted the next morning to let me know they were on the way to B'ham, and quickly unloaded both at storage and at my daughter's house. The company itself was very responsive in terms of on-site estimate, my ability to reach out to the customer service person working with me, sending emails with moving information, texting reminders, etc. It's very nerve-wracking to be relying on a company to show up to do such a big move when turning the home over to a new buyer the next day, but I always felt confident that everything would be handled correctly. I would highly recommend that anyone using a moving service continue to remain in contact with the company from the day of the initial estimate to the moving day, for peace of mind. read more

I enlisted Eco Movers about one week before I needed to vacate my family home of about 57 years. There was no way to preserve all of four generations of stuff that had accumulated. To my relief, they were able to assign two trucks with a 5 man crew over two days of packing and one for moving, with an option for an additional day's work if needed. Without having an inventory to go by, the on-site lead (Anthony) was stuck with having to reassess the inventory with repeated walk-throughs as the move progressed, based on how much it looked like we could actually pack out. Fortunately he took a personal interest in ensuring that I got out with enough to not feel like I was leaving much of life behind, while also working important tasks himself, like carefully disassembling an 8 foot+ Ikea wall unit that I absolutely had to have. The volume of goods that they were able move in three days necessitated my renting an additional storage locker, making an extra day unnecessary. And throughout, the patience and friendly demeanor of the workers minimized the stress. During the move, the only problem that required a solution from the Seattle office was when cloth moving blankets were shrink-wrapped onto large items rather than the less expensive paper ones I had expressed a preference for during the initial scheduling. A quick talk with Brandon on the phone and he fixed this communications issue by having the paper blankets swapped in at no charge to me. Lucky me, my lease was ending at the end of the month and I just had surgery to repair my ruptured Achilles tendon three weeks before. Needless to say moving became a big looming task. My friend suggested Eco Movers, he loved their service for his move. Once I received the OK to start walking on my ankle I signed up for a quote on a Tuesday; received a call and text to go over the specifics of the move that same day (way easier than I anticipated too). Their website made it easy to add the items from each room I would be moving. Saturday their lead Landon and mover Daniel arrived and went to work. They were a great team, they just knew what the tasks were and swiftly got everything I needed moved out. They used drop runners so there wasn't a rainy shoe mess, wrapped up everything securely and we were off to my new place. I appreciate the care that Landon and Daniel showed to ALL of my belongings. They placed my things in their specific room and get it set up very close to how I wanted it so that I could start to use my new space right away. It was still a mountain of boxes to go through, but doing so in a space that quickly felt like mine. I appreciate the quick, helpful communication of their manager Jose. I will never refer this business to anyone. Poor service, lying/deceitful crew, and they broke 2 TVs and lied about pre-existing damage, falsifying documents showing picture of damage at delivery location, not at pick up location. Then driver took a shit in my restroom of my new place before I was able to in my new home. Lied about not taking a break, when I waited 30-45 min for them to arrive to new place and it's a 10min drive away. They got lost in the complex ever though they had the directions. Looked unorganized as most times 1 person was working and others were standing around waiting for direction. Then don't take into consideration of breaking my 75in, and 65 in TVs. They aren't cheap then offer me .72 cents per pound on a TVs they broke, which is a slap in the face. So no I am utterly dissatisfied with service and claims department remedy. Prioritizing payment being paid before addressing the damaged cause by team. Then offering a lowball resolution carelessly because it doesn't affect them or their pockets, just mines and I didn't break the TVs your employees did and didn't say anything about it even when they snuck a picture at delivery location. They claimed it was pre-existing yet hid that information cause they knew it's a lie. read more

This has been my 2nd move with Eco Movers - while I was nervous about a longer trek, the team was amazing, super friendly, and everything went smoothly. They didn't mind working around us while we were scrambling to get things packed up and were super efficient with both the pack up and unload. I was especially impressed with the unload process - once we got to our destination, it probably took the team only a little more than an hour to unload and unwrap everything, confirm where we wanted everything placed throughout the home, and re-assemble all furniture. I also want to highlight how great the customer service and pre-move process is - both times my quotes have been near exact and the communication spot on. Although the distance was literally 6x more this time around and we had another team member, the total cost was much lower than I anticipated and very affordable. For someone who hates packing and moving with a fiery passion, Eco Movers has been a godsend. Note that while their hourly rates are higher than others, they do not charge extra for packing supplies and are excellent at protecting and delivering your furniture! read more

I called 3 moving companies for bids. Two got back to me in a timely manner. The bid from Eco Movers was the most competitive. I did have to complete a detailed inventory of what needed to be moved. They were able to schedule my move within a week of contacting them, which was very timely. The day of the move a 3-person crew showed up in a timely manner & got right to work. They wrapped all my furniture pieces in moving blankets and plastic wrap to protect them. Once they moved all the boxes and furniture out, they rolled up the rugs and taped them shut. They packed up the truck & headed for the new place. I met them there & they unloaded quickly. They put the rugs down where directed and all the furniture too. They were very careful & respective of all my belongings, the walls etc.They also put down floor protectors at both locations. All in all the move took about 7 hours. The crew worked promptly, diligently and efficiently. There were lots of timely texts about timing, billing etc. Everything was explained clearly. I would definitely use them again. read more

We had never used movers before and we were so thrilled to have used Eco Movers and so we how easy they make the whole process. From scheduling at the very beginning all the way through the end, it was fantastic. Ian and his crew did an amazing job. They communicated so well with us, worked super efficiently, and took great care with all of our furniture. At the new house they put red carpets down everywhere so they didn't track dirt in the house and I was so impressed and shocked. Watching them wrap up furniture was also so impressive. Communication was top notch right from the get go. They made sure to highlight that we need to give them an accurate inventory. If you give them an accurate inventory you will be really happy with their service. The estimate they gave us was much higher than the actual cost because we didn't have much. The end cost was lower though, remember this is an estimate. They are expensive but you get what you pay for. Top quality. They had a crew of 5-6 people for packing and moving. We had initially planned to pack on one day and move the next. But they were really efficient in packing and were able to move the same day (made sure we were ok with it). They put down carpets to protect floors, were really careful going up and down stairs, didn't hit / scratch any walls. They are also really friendly. Borris, Tez and Franklin were my amazing team who moved us on Friday. They were meticulous, respectful of our items and so professional while also being positive, happy and hard working! From the minute they arrived until the time they left they were so helpful. They also had to make a syrotagr stop to drip off some heirloom pieces and a piano! When we arrived at the new house they were conscious of housing everything where it belonged, they put all of our beds together and helped move rugs exactly where we wanted them etc. it was an extremely long and stressful day for everyone and they actually made it as fun as a move could actually be. At the end of a long 13 hour day I felt like they were my family. Kirk also was my go to man when it came to to planning the logistics of the move and he was amazing as well. But Ali was helpful and encouraging, and worked to book a truck for me on the day I needed it. He gave me an estimate that turned out to be almost exactly what the job ended up costing, and sent me a link to a contract I could sign online. Over the next couple of weeks I got a few emails with helpful tips for how to make your move a pleasant and successful experience, as well as reminders of the things I needed to do before the movers arrived. On moving day I met a crew of 3 movers, led by Mario. Their communication was clear, and they were careful and respectful of my home. They worked incredibly hard to get my things safely wrapped and loaded over the next several hours. Another great move with Eco Movers. Juan and his team arrived on time and got right to work. They worked efficiently and quickly loading the truck with the furniture and boxes we had indicated. We had disassembled most of our furniture except one bed. We were out of our old place by late morning, and they met us at our new place after a short lunch break. Our new place has several flights of stairs, and they handled them all like champs. They padded everything well with moving blankets so there was no damage to any of the pieces. There was a small dent on one wall that was near a tight corner, which we received a small discount for immediately when we pointed it out. The entire move took 5 hours, which is pretty darn fast even considering we weren't moving very far. The team worked hard throughout. We highly recommend Eco Movers! read more

The two-man team arrived promptly, went right to work wrapping each piece in film, quickly determined the best exit point, and loaded everything. They efficiently moved independently or, if required, coordinated heavier pieces. They were easy to work with and provided documentation that I was unable to produce on-line, On arrival at destination the team figured out how to set up parking in the rather steep driveway. They used the prepared diagram for placement of the items, removed all packing materials, re-installed shelves, and asked for clarification whenever my directions were not clear. I was pleased that the price quote was provisional in that the quote was for 5 hours while the work took 4 hours, so the total price was less than quoted! Good people to work with. read more

From initiating a request for a quote to move out day Eco movers is amazing. I live in Hawaii but my son lives in WA. My son initiated the setup and I paid the bill :) the team made sure we did everything needed prior to move out day. The only thing I did ask was to contact my son and it was supposed to be added to notes however at 452am Hawaii time I got the call they were on their way. The move team was extremely apologetic when I asked them to contact my son because I was in Hawaii, it seemed he then read the notes and was very apologetic. Even though Eco Movers did not give the lowest estimate at the time, they hooked me with their excellent customer service. From the first time that I called their number, Cindy took great care to get my details correct and was responsive in coordinating inventory and schedule changes up until the day of the move. I hoped that the customer service during the move would be of the same high quality, and I was not disappointed. Ruben and Ofir were highly professional and efficient. They took care of all of our items and left our new house as if they were never there. They impressed me when they were able to deliver an especially bulky dresser through a tight stairwell without a scratch. I was definitely pleased with the service that I paid for. Using EcoMovers for our recent move is one of the best moving decision we ever made. We have used movers a couple times in the past and I can tell you, these Ecomover guys are the best we have seen. These guys are awesome!! I had a problem with a brand-new couch delivered to a high-rise condo that the delivery crew could not get into my unit (problems coming out of the elevator and making the turn to get into my unit). I called Eco Movers, they managed to come out the same day, they unboxed the couch, wrapped it in protective blankets like a mummy, and delivered inside of my unit in no time. Boris and Boni (the movers that came to my place) are very professional, they really know what they are doing, super friendly, and they are also quick in their job, without taking any shortcuts which could risk the safety of move. I will absolutely use Eco Movers again for my next move! I chose Eco Movers because of the helpful and flexible customer service from Danni during the quote process. The movers arrived exactly at the beginning of the arrival window (super appreciated in a downtown apartment where the loading dock and elevator have short reservation windows).
