Chad H.

We got several quotes for having the attic space above our garage blown in and these guys came in considerably cheaper. Moreover, they got me scheduled right away unlike their competitors who had a backlog for a month or so. They did a really good job. They were professional and left no mess behind. I highly recommend them and I've work with a ton of subs over the years working for my dads remodeling business. These guys deserve your business for sure!

Two word review: Honest, Responsive…read more This is my THIRD consecutive 5-star review for Rocklin Heating & Air. In the last 10 or so years in the area I've called RHA, one other place because they could get me to faster - had a bad experience, waited for RHA had an amazing experience, and decided they're going to be my ride-or-die for HVAC. I called them at 7am and by 11:30am their tech had fixed and tested everything and off to help someone else. Yesterday was the start of a heat wave and ... our AC unit quit on us. I called RHA as soon as they opened this morning at 7am, asked for Joe in particular, and they gave me a window between 10am and 12pm. Joe texted ahead of time at 10:30, diagnosed the blown capacitor, swapped it out, cleaned things up a bit, tested the coolant, answered a bunch of questions, and was on his way in just under an hour. The diagnostic was $129 and the capacitor was $186 today. By a complete and total coincidence, I had been running some experiments with home temperature sensors for the last week. You can literally see on these pictures exactly when the AC unit stopped working - and when RHA saved our bacon. The "other" place I called years ago only had a $79 diagnostic charge, but wanted to rip out and replace the entire HVAC system - and claimed we were taking our lives in our own hands by not getting it fixed with him immediately. Joe and RHA took care of everything for the diagnostic. Yeah, you can probably find someplace to charge you less for the diagnostic or maybe less for the part, but when your house is boiling hot / freezing cold, you want to be able to call on someone you can trust to help you out - and not take you for a ride.

They were able to get someone scheduled immediately for the next day! So, earlier this morning, our technician (Frank) called with a heads up for his arrival and showed up right on time. He was very polite and got to work right away. Turned out to be a bad capacitor. Frank had everything we needed in his truck and was able to swap it out in no time. Now our A/C is working great again!! Thank you so much! Glad I found you guys on Yelp!

Best price after getting quotes multiple companies. And they gave discount if paying cash/check!…read moreCalled for planned insulation of one room, but had them check whole house insulation bc have had certain rooms not feel insulated. From start to finish, very efficient and courteous. Good quality work. House was dramatically under insulated. After insulation my AC essentially never comes on, where prior it would run for nearly all day and still struggle to get temp cool. And the rooms that felt hotter then rest of home was now equal. I'm interested to see how winter feels but suspect will be the same regarding energy heater usage needs. Other companies told me I had to change my entire hvac system and get it re calibrated to get the other rooms equal temp; but the answer was just insulation. Massive savings. I never knew how much good insulation was actually sooo important and the massive longterm cost savings it provides. And better do it soon before it stresses your ac unit and need to replace a whole unit which costs crazy more money. Every summer my AC unit would break trying to get us cool. Sucked. With now a fully insulated home, hopefully this next summer will not break my AC. Would definitely use them again if needed, but there's lifetime warranty on product so doubt need in this house.

We had a brand new three-ton AC unit installed along with planned HVAC system updates, with the…read moreexpectation that our airflow and temperature imbalance issues would be resolved in our 972 sq ft home. From the start, the process was confusing and did not inspire confidence. We were initially told the HVAC system would be replaced, but later informed that the space would not accommodate it as planned. The scope of work seemed unclear and ultimately was not completed as originally explained. Since installation, we have continued to experience significant temperature imbalance throughout the home. The living room becomes very cold, while the bedroom remains warm and uncomfortable--especially at night. This has been a consistent issue for the past year. Additionally, the system appears to be oversized for a home of this size. Installing a three-ton unit in a 972 sq ft space raises concerns about improper system sizing, which can lead to short cycling, poor airflow distribution, and uneven temperatures--exactly what we are experiencing. Communication has also been extremely frustrating. We have struggled to get clear answers or meaningful follow-up regarding these ongoing issues, despite raising concerns multiple times. We were recently informed that the project passed inspection, but passing inspection does not reflect real-world performance. A properly installed HVAC system should provide consistent comfort throughout the home, and that is not happening here. After a full year of unresolved issues, incomplete work, and lack of communication, we cannot recommend this company.

David came out from Economy Heating and Air came out and offered me an estimate for $89 of which would be waived if I had them fix it. After looking at it, he asked me if I would like to fix it for a few hundred dollars or replace it for thousands; I told him I'd rather get it repaired if it wasn't too old. He repaired it that visit for under $400 and I was so grateful. I told him they would be the company I would call if I had any further problems. It's been running well since his visit. He was on time, was very polite and very efficient; I can't thank him enough.

After speaking with him, he had earned my trust and respect. By the end of our call, he had arranged to send one of his employees (Stewie) to do the work the next day. Thank goodness!! He's a small family owned business, which I prefer to do business with anyway to help support their business and our local community. This morning, I was very pleased to hear from Stewie, they were able to move my appointment up to this morning, instead of mid afternoon. YAY!! Stewie was pleasant to talk to, knowledgeable and professional throughout my AC service. He determined the problem and performed the necessary repairs at a reasonable cost. If you ever need HVAC repair work done, I "Strongly recommend" you contact them first!! They will most likely save you time and money on parts & service, which is much appreciated, especially on our fixed income. Thanks again, Terry and Stewie for your kindness and professionalism. Your company will be the one I call first, when I need any service done.
