If you've got things scurrying inside your walls and you're starting to panic, do yourself a massive favor: Call Fred before you spend a dime on those big-name "remediation" companies. I had rodents living in the voids between my walls, which is a total nightmare. Before I found Fred, I had two of the "notable" rodent services in the Valley come out. Even though my attic was clean--no droppings, no signs of an actual infestation--they tried to scare me into "rat-proofing" packages ranging from $2,600 to $8,000. It felt like a total shakedown. Then I found Fred, and the experience was night and day: Honest & Fast: He was super responsive with scheduling and did the initial inspection completely free. Decades of Experience: Fred has been doing this for 20 years. He's a total pro, but also incredibly humble. He actually admitted my specific wall-void issue was a first for him, which I appreciated way more than a fake sales pitch. Unfortunately, this was, without question, the worst contractor experience I've ever had. I found Green Rodent Restoration through Nextdoor after seeing their positive reviews and the mention of potential SCE rebates. Although I later learned I didn't qualify for the rebate, I decided to move forward because the estimate and scope of work made sense. Rony was very thorough in explaining the process. During the attic work, including the insulation installation, my home sustained three separate areas of ceiling damage, including one where a worker stepped completely through the ceiling. When I raised my concerns, the foreman suggested it was because there weren't enough boards in the attic for the crew to walk on. As the homeowner, I hired professionals because I expected they knew how to safely perform this type of work. Before the crew left, I was told the attic fan would need to be rescheduled because of an issue. This only came up after they had already asked me for payment. Had I not pushed back, I believe they would have left without completing a major part of the project. When I questioned it, the foreman was dismissive rather than taking ownership of the situation. What disappointed me most was the lack of respect for my property. The crew shook a blanket full of insulation and debris into my front yard. When Green Rodent Restoration sent a contractor to repair the damage, the experience didn't improve. The contractor used my bathroom without cleaning up afterward, dumped dirty mop water containing soap and debris into my front yard, left drywall dust throughout my home, and I later discovered fresh scrapes on my staircase railing that were not there before. While the ceiling repairs are better than the original damage, they still don't look like a professional finished product. The cleanup and overall attention to detail also fell well below what I expected. In my opinion, Green Rodent Restoration should have had a supervisor or foreman present while the restoration work was being completed to ensure it was done properly. Communication afterward has been equally disappointing, and I have had to follow up repeatedly throughout this process. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Green Rodent Restoration. My advice is to take your time, compare several companies, and don't make your decision based solely on reviews or the possibility of rebates. I only wish I had shopped around more before making my decision.

I had him over for some attic rat…read moredropping clean up along with some maintenance of attic insulation that had degraded over time and rodent proofing. He was very knowledgeable and very detail oriented. He showed me everywhere that he would seal for rodent proofing. His pricing was exactly where I would put it. He was able to fit me in in a week and on the day of the job he had 4 guys; 2 of which were family members. They were all very professional and worked very quickly and well. I had a lot of wires and lines running in the attic and was worried some of them would get damaged (I know my fault and they should have been tacked up to begin with) but they worked around them and nothing was damaged. I was also worried about my roof since it was just done with lightweight concrete but no tiles were broken. They setup portable walls that were sealed with contractors plastic sheeting so any dust/contaminants were sealed away and directed at a HEPA filter. They finished the 1300 sqft attic and also the garage attic in about 6 hours and it looked perfect. I was very impressed. They even removed about 50ft of old HVAC piping from the garage attic (when they probably could have left it). I feel like it's very hard to find contractors along with their team that truly take pride in their work in this day in age but Leo and his team are the exception. It helps that it is a family owned and run business which mean they really care about their clients and also the work done. I will be recommending Leo Home Solutions to anyone that needs similar work done!

They replaced our insulation between the floor joists, installed a vapor barrier and completely rodent proofed the sub floor area leaving it looking clean and sealed up. They also installed a dehumidifier with a condensation drain line and got us hooked up to the Bluetooth system so we can control it without having to get under the home. They kept the job site clean. The crew fully contained the entry way that they used to remove all the old materials each day keeping the interior of our home clean and dirt free. The whole crew at Leo Home Solutions was pleasant to work with and they will be called if any other work is needed on our home.
