We had Ecowater install a softener in Oct 24 and they were the most price competitive as well as most knowledgeable. The system was installed quickly and a piping correction was done by the lead plumber the following day. So the customer service has been outstanding. Since we've had them replace our pressure relief valve increasing water pressure by 30%. We've had an unrelated leak which they've come out, identified, and repaired. We've decided to have our whole home repiped for an affordable price and Marissa Michel has been particularly helpful. Next the diligent customer service and affordable and fast repairs, we've made Ecowater our primary source for plumbing issues. We had our water softener system installed in October 2022 by Ecowater SoCal. We purchased the ERR3700 series system through Costco and it has been an awesome investment (10-year service/hardware warranty). Our customer support rep Kevin Rankins was awesome, he provided great details of each water softener system and thoroughly explained the the Costco cash back rebate(s) (15% Costco cash card for the purchase and 3% cash back using the Costco credit card). In January we experienced a hardware issue with the unit and had to call the customer service team for a field technician. The customer service representative I spoke to was very nice and professional. The onsite technician was able to get the issue resolved immediately. Since the faulty part has been replaced we have not encountered any issues. Being a tech savvy person I really like the Wi-Fi monitoring system to see how much salt/water is being used on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. I highly recommend any future water softener system customers to go with Ecowater SoCal. read more

We liked hearing what J.D., Ecowater system water treatment specialist, had to say about reverse osmosis when he came to our house. He was very knowledgeable and understood what we were looking for in a water filtration system. Our friends had recently purchased a similar system from the company and they were very pleased. The installer did a GREAT job, but when I asked him questions on how we would know how clean the water was, he mentioned that we could purchase a tester on Amazon, but that he didn't have a tester because the company had told him that as an installer he didn't need one. I was very disappointed that he didn't have a tester since our friends' installer had a water tester and showed them how clean their water was after the installation. Our very nice installer wished he could do the same, but couldn't since he didn't have a tester. I'm very disappointed that we weren't shown how clean our water was as a part of the installation. Our friends were able to purchase a water test meter through Amazon because she saw what the installer had used. I only knew about the water meter because of my friends' experience. We did purchase a meter on Amazon and were very pleased with the drastic difference in the quality of our water following the installation process. I also told my friend that we included the spring water filter in our system because we had read and were told by J.D. that reverse osmosis systems removes all particles in the water, including important nutrients like magnesium and other minerals that our bodies need. The spring water addition adds those nutrients back into the water. My friend said that the option of adding the spring water filter was never mentioned to her. I believe that Ecowater Systems should be CONSISTENT with the information and customer service provided to customers. I like to know all information from companies I am purchasing from and not just from my friend who recently purchased a similar system. The worse part is not knowing how clean our water was when the installer was here. read more
