Very good Singapore Rice Noodles. Spicy and very tasty.
    Joy B.

I've eaten in a fair number of Chinese restaurants as it's my favorite cuisine. I do have some good things to say about this restaurant. I have tried it five or six times now, and I wanted to wait to try several dishes there before writing this review. I hope the owners will pay attention because this place really has great potential. In general, the food is very good or excellent, but a couple of the items are not. The Szechuan Chicken and Chicken with Broccoli are excellent. Singapore Noodles had a good flavor, but a bit over spiced with black pepper. Not with chili/garlic sauce or chili flakes, but overspiced with pepper. (Yes, I know the difference. My boyfriend is a chef), and the dish could use more vegetables. It didn't have any onion at all, which is usually standard with Singapore Noodles. The rice noodles themselves were a bit overcooked. I did like the flavor, though, and it's important to mention it because not all restaurants know how to make Singapore Noodles. Now on to the Orange Chicken. I will say that the sauce was the best I've ever had in my life! The downside is the fried chicken nugget pieces itself. It's 98% breading and only a tiny pencil eraser-sized piece of chicken in the middle of each breaded nugget. If you go ahead and open the nuggets yourself, you'll see that it's a ball of dough dipped in batter and then coated and flour and dipped in batter again. I was truly disappointed in this dish. We became curious and started opening all the nuggets, and many of them had no chicken in the middle. Try it yourself and see. We feel that this was deceptive, and for the price they charge, it really should have had noticeable pieces of chicken in it! This one dish made me very unhappy. I have a funny feeling that the General Tso's Chicken uses the same breaded nuggets, so we won't be ordering that anytime soon either. The Spring Rolls were a complete disappointment. The inside filling was unremarkable and mushy, and the wrappers were cold and soggy. Of at least 15 dishes we've ordered in the past month, we feel that where this restaurant really shines is in most of the main dishes and noodles. We really liked the others, and I have to say that even with a few blerps, all in all, this restaurant might be better than the majority of Chinese restaurants in Upper Montgomery County. I'd love to see them add some items to their menu, such as Cold Peanut Sesame Noodles, Spicy Eggplant in Brown sauce, and Vegetable or Chicken Goyza Dumplings. The prices here are about normal, but the portions could be a bit larger. They're okay, but not generous.. The most important thing is that this place is clean! I mean really clean. On a Friday or Saturday night when it's really busy, you'll be impressed to see the cooks crazily slinging woks, lots of big flames, and you'll agree it's certainly a show! Try Eddie Leonard's Carryout. I think you'll probably like it.

A solid take out place. We got delivery from here and I got the general Tso combination special. The egg roll was ok. The fried rice and chicken were great, where the chicken was cooked nicely and the sauce was great. The lo mein was also good without being too salty. I would get takeout from here again.

They are serving turkey sausage in place of a Turkey burger and had the nerve to tell me that is how they serve their turkey burger

I don't even know how to describe the energy in this place, but you can just feel it the moment you walk in. The restaurant has a dark aesthetic that gives it such a cool, cozy ambiance. My daughter and I ordered the Dan Dan noodles and spicy wontons. Everything was so filling that we ended up ordering another bowl of the Dan Dan noodles! And honestly, I still crave them. The Dan Dan noodles were SO good. The sauce was the perfect combination of creamy and spicy, and there was a generous amount of minced pork that balanced everything out really well. The wontons paired perfectly with the chili sauce that came with them! They were spicy--my ears turned red and my nose started running--but I literally could not stop going back for another bite. Even the wontons alone were incredibly filling. I don't live anywhere near this place, and I genuinely wish I did. I traveled pretty far to get here, and I'd absolutely do it again. This was one of those meals that stays on your mind long after you've left!

Reservations are encouraged as this place does get busy and it leads to the phone not being answered. Small staff but big hearts for the customers. I've enjoyed the high level of customer service during my visits. Can we talk about the pork belly? Chiillle, it runs out fast so go early. If they do run out, the soy garlic chicken dish will get you right. The mixologists do a kick butt job on the drinks and there are non-alcoholic options if you're not in a getting tipsy mood. I was pleased with the different flavors and portion sizes. There may have been one dish that I wasn't over the moon about, and even then it was still edible. The manager will come to discuss any substitutions if they run out of an item. When this happens, they more than make up for it by offering something comparably delicious. I would recommend and return to explore more of the menu.

For appetizers, we shared the salt and pepper calamari and the jah leung. The calamari was good was but was on the saltier side. I liked how tender the beef was but it was also on the saltier side. I got to try my husband's char siu place and my friend's crispy pork belly. My wife and I now dine in or do takeout twice a month because we love it so much! Food: All the flavors stand out and you can tell it was freshly made. I have never had a bad experience with their food over the past year and a half they've been open. Service: All the staff is very friendly and even offer suggestions on what to eat and accommodations on exchanging ingredients for the food. Somehow they juggle phone calls, serving customers, and handling takeout all at once, without compromising on the quality of service. Value: The main dishes typically start around $15 but they're a heavy portion and are best served family style. The Chef Specials start around $17 and again, a generous portion size. The quality of the food and the amount is a steal for these prices. Ambiance: The aesthetics aren't fancy, more of a local shop with the minimum furniture. But the seating arrangement and atmosphere definitely make you feel like you're about to get a dang good meal. When dining it, you can constantly see people coming in and out grabbing takeout orders. An absolute good sign. Recommendations: Don't sleep on anything, try everything at least once's. You'll be very pleased with whatever you order.
