Eddie V's is a top notch establishment! Wonderfully elegant atmosphere and fantastic service. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were all amazing. Highly recommend!

My Wife took me here for my birthday and I must say this place is fabulous. The waiter (Lido) was an absolute pleasure and great host. He made sure we had everything we didn't know we needed. The place was vibrant with beautiful decor and a great mixture of people. The food was amazing!!!! We had the lobster tacos for a starter and it was by far the best taco I ever ate. We split a 22oz ribeye which was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. We accompanied the steak with crab fried rice, while a little on the salty side we had asparagus to balance it out. Finished off with a nice little surprise desert from our waiter and had a couple of drinks throughout the night. By far one of the best experiences, I will definitely be back!!!

First time here but they just opened. Very nicely decorated - kinda upscale NY restaurant. Service was great. Food, we came for happy hour and tried a number of different dishes and ordered a couple of things from the main menu. The cocktail was really good. It turned out the food was a lot more than we had anticipated - it was very generously portioned. Will be back!

So the reason for the 2/5 is because when I went on 9/7, the best meal and service I've had at any Eddie V's I've been to.... Server, I think named Matt = amazing. Efficient, helpful and not "overdone". Ambiance reminds me of the Nashville Location without the giant chandeller. Then I think wow, that was the best steak at an Eddie V's I've ever had (me = long time eddie v/ capital grille go-er-er) which brings to tonight on 9/18 I did a mix of a few happy hour items and the steak. The steak from 9/7 was 10/10, today (excluding the steak not being cooked right the firist time) was like a 5-6/10 which is problem for a place like Eddie V's. How can we go from the literal BEST 2 weeks ago to hamburger meat 2 weeks later. Server was nice, management nice... accommodating to which i appreciated, but then the 20 mins for cocktails (during dinner which inevitably stalls the meal) and dessert was very nice, but again... very long wait time for a Thursday night . I'm disappointed tonight, not their best night. I had this issue at a capital grille where the inconsistencies made dining feel like AC on a hot table. Q. Recommend or no? A. I'd go every other day if it was like 9/7, my cousin and I loved it spent like $200PP and tipped well of course.... I wouldn't return for a night like tonight, disappointed. Tonight was a 2/5, so an average of 3.5 between both nights. Needs work maybe I'll try again in a month or two

Welcome Eddie V's! Such a wonderful addition to the food scene in the area. The service was crisp and very attentive! Almost too attentive but I like they were aimed at pleasing each guest! From The receptionist, manager and our server....great service! The food was prepared to perfection. Tuna tartare was very good. The calamari was fresh and delicious. The accompanying sauce was worth taking home! Though oyster rockerfella is not on the weekend menu...I inquired and would you believe it appeared? It was outstanding! I had the lamb and my wife has the scallops! The arugula goat cheese salad was another level! Bravo! The banana foster was exceptional! A great gastronomical experience! The ambiance was class and intimate! Plenty of servers and the value exceeded expectations! A must if you want a high end dining experience!

Great ambiance with the piano bar/ V lounge. I have dined here twice ( dinner and Happy hour). I enjoyed the happy hour in the piano room. The oysters were delicious but I really enjoyed the crab cake and the bullet sour. Our service with Miles was wonderful.

Eddie V's recently opened in Princeton, NJ. I've eaten there 3 times in the bar area and love the food. The bartenders and servers are amazing. The bar is super busy around happy hour which affects how long it takes to get a drink but that is to be expected for a new establishment. I really love that they have live music every single night at 6:30. The music is so good too, jazz, soul, R&B, yacht, etc. It's a bit on the expensive side and the HH menu isn't very happy but I don't go there for that, I love the vibe and reg menu:

I don't even know where to start, this restaurant did not disappoint in any way at all!! 10000/10 From the delightful customer service to the amazing food and let me not forget the live band that plays from 6-9. We came for my moms birthday and they were so attentive, especially for people coming to a seafood restaurant with seafood allergies, everything was handled so well. They even decorated the table for her birthday and had a card waiting for her! We had n array of menu items and each one was AMAZING. lollipop lamb chops were a hit!! Wagyu Dumplings?! 100/10 and the dessert... y'all just come on down and get you some Eddie Vs. I will be back for sure! Special thanks to our server Fionna she truly took care of us!! And special thanks to the host or manager that put our surprise song request in to the band! Truly an amazing experience for celebrating my moms birthday

My wife and I have been excited for Eddie V's to open - we love the one in Cherry Hill and welcomed it opening closer to where we live. Two weeks after opening, our experience was all-around poor. We went for happy hour and the bar was 3/4 full 20 minutes after open at 4PM. The bartenders ask everyone their names and wrote them on the check. They never addressed us by name after, so it felt useless. My wife ordered the cosmopolitan and I ordered the Bulleit Sour. Both were just BAD. My sour was wayyyy over soured. I've had dozens over the years so I know what to expect. My wife's Cosmo was just... wrong. It was also over-soured with lime. It was the worst Cosmo she ever had she said. The food front wasn't any better. A woman across the bar complained because the mashed potatoes "were like gloop" and they were, as she hit her plate with a spoonful that didn't budge. A manager later thanked her because the whole batch was "bad". She also complained about her steak doneness. On our food side, it was bad. First, the lobster bites for $20 were atrocious. We got teeny tiny bits of lobster (see photos) that were $10 too expensive for what you got. They were delivered room temperature. Next, we saw several issues with food delivery and we twice had other peoples orders come to us. Lastly, the burrata salad was just not good. Heirloom tomatoes are not the right tomato- stop using them!! They were not ripe and had the texture of a steak. I've had tomato burrata salad in Italy where the tomatoes are properly chosen and used - this was no where close. Overall, we won't be going back and we're extremely disappointed.

Staff accommodated me at a nice two seater table that didn't have me in the middle of the action, so I felt comfortable dining alone. Started off with the best Blood Orange Martini I've ever had. Cold and tasty!! I honestly had the best Caesar Salad I may ever have had. So tasty and plentiful. Abundance of Parm & croutons and packed with flavor. Hadn't had a Filet in awhile and opted for that with some Bearnaise. Great choice - tender cut - tasty crust - perfectly prepared. A jazz band was playing which only added to the amazing ambience. Friends picked us up at the Princeton Junction train station and drove into Princeton. We had lunch at Witherspoon, one of their favorites, before heading to the Princeton University Art Museum. My friend and I shared the grilled shrimp salad, and they kindly split it in the kitchen for us. Hardly any black beans, at least in mine, but two large shrimp (one of my favorite oxymorons!) and lots of shredded romaine, topped with about half a sliced avocado. Came with a creamy dressing on the side, no great shakes to me but my friend loved it. My husband had a whole grilled shrimp salad to himself, ignored the dressing, and really liked the salad. Our other friend had 2 appetizers as his meal - lobster bisque and a poke cup that was on the menu as a tuna martini, or something like that. Cute title. Two of us had unsweetened iced tea, one had a cup of hot water. My iced tea was good, our friend got a refill of his. I'm not sure if he was charged for it but I don't think so. We passed on dessert, went later for ice cream. Enjoy!

As we were leaving I reconfirmed it with the person at the host's desk ( seemed to be the manager) , who apologized and said maybe our waiter missed it . But it was a noticeable miss that cannot be overlooked, as that was the purpose of our dinner here. End of the meal, our family's spirits fell flat, but we still sang and celebrated sans the petty candle. Now on to the food and drinks... Mocktails were delicious, colorful, and eye-catching . We tried all 3 on the menu and loved it. Appetizers galore filled our table ... Bang Bang cauliflower had a medley of sweet & sour flavors. Hummus pita board - Warm grilled pita was a table favorite with the small portion of hummus and fresh crisp veggies. Harvest salad - crisp lettuce, feta cheese, walnuts, poached and fresh sliced pear, cucumbers, and watermelon radish with rose vinaigrette made this extra special. Crispy calamari - great pairing with pickled veggies and arugula basil aioli. We ordered an assortment of entrees with all seafood choices . Salmon with risotto , Halibut & Branzino cooked to perfection served with flavorful sides. For dessert, it was the warm brownie with vanilla ice cream and peanut butter cup . The brownie was soft and not too sweet, slightly warm and it vanished in a few seconds. Peanut butter cup was a dense donut texture with candied peanuts We hoped that at least one of the desserts would be served with a candle as we were celebrating a birthday but they missed it and didn't care enough despite letting them know when marking the reservation. I loved everything about the experience at Agricola, but their lack of attention to detail stuck out like a sore thumb , as the poor communication between their front desk and wait staff dampens the guests' experience , making it a not-so-great finish .

In contrast to their far more expansive location in Morristown, the Princeton location is noticeably more "intimate" with Manhattan inspired table crowding. Not enough to detract from a wonderful meal but certainly worth noting. Five stars all day long. PS... no credit card surcharge. A surprise that certainly puts a smile on my face.

For years I have been boring friends, family and anyone who would listen about the wretched state of service in the US, unfortunately made even more dismal by the pandemic. And before I forget, the food... almost matching the service which is saying something. Sadly, our weekday meal was a disappointment. My friend and I were only one of two parties dining in the restaurant. The menu overall feels old and dated. It features Just the classics, which is fine if executed well, but the execution was seriously lacking. The little gem salad featured pickled cucumbers in a very sharp vinegar sitting next to overdressed, lettuce and kale. It also had very large round carrots, which I think were completely unnecessary. The complimentary bread was brought to the table, warm and featured little mini salads on the side, which was a thoughtful touch. My entree of duck was a substitute for the more exciting braised short ribs mentioned initially. The breast was tough and chewy and the bread crumb on the leg was mushy and not crisp. Desert was our last hope but the flourless cake proved to be a hard, tough dome. Shout out for the kind and thoughtful wait staff! Overall, however, a let down. What a shame! There are too many excellent restaurants in the Princeton area and a clientele that definitely have a global palate so I worry this place might not last.

I've had the chocolate (rich, decadent, flawless), though I'm still chasing my ultimate favorite--the elusive Grand Marnier soufflé. One day... Beyond that: * Mussels + champagne = always a win * Service is warm and welcoming * Prices feel fair for the quality and experience This place has become part of my ritual when I'm in the area. There was a young lady sitting in the corner in the phone telling us that there were no seats if we didn't have a reservation. Not the most polite but whatever. We went back to the bar and got a table. Why are bar tables always so sticky?! Anyhoo, we just missed the Happy Jour menu but it was only a $1-2 discount (except for the burger: $4). Service was pleasant and attentive. The food was overpriced for sitting in a bar. $30 for a bowl of ramen! (I don't know how it tastes but it's $17 across the street.) $22 for a burger and fries! $10 for two little bao with a single shrimp in each! Ok, that's not too bad since Bao is generally overpriced for some reason but I could have gotten more than one shrimp. Unfortunately, the price did not reflect the quality. My friend who got the ramen said it was in the bottom 25% he's ever had. My burger was pretty good but the bun was toasted and brittle and made an unnecessary mess. The fries--personal preference--I don't like skinny fries. As for the bao, the shrimp was too salty. I liked the finishing salt but the flavoring salt was too heavy. Also, it was drizzled with aioli and I couldn't pick it up and eat it like the sandwich it was. Overall, a disappointment. Mediocre food and an elevated price for no reason.
