It seemed as if our server was ready to leave or something as we overheard her telling a new server coming in that our table had already ordered. Maybe that is part of the reason why part of my meal was forgotten. She made sure she to let us know that she took it off, great- because we didn't get it. I would have ordered a second glass of wine, but she never came back by to ask. When she came by to ask about dessert, it came out as "you didn't want the dessert menu did you?"" ..... no, not asking that way. But one of the openings in the steak was clearly medium, which he later affirmed. So, I'm not sure what they checked before! The non-bloody parts of the steak did taste good, though. So, if you don't care about doneness, go for it. Also, they had weird plating on the steak. Go for the board or go for plates but this awkward plates on a cutting board means you delicately try to not knock anything off. Pro tip: scrape it all onto the board The calamari was tasty except the plate was half fried zucchini. Slick move to get $16 out of me for a tempura plate. Otherwise, service was pretty slow although the restaurant was maybe 1/4 occupied. I had my doubts since the spot a couple doors down had a one-hour wait. Should've trusted my gut.
