Ordered 1 lb. of wings, 1/2 Caribbean jerk and 1/2 with gochujang. Unfortunately got them to go and when I got home to eat them I couldn't tell which one was which. 1/2 had no flavor or seasoning and the other 1/2 had a tiny bit of sweet of something but it surely wasn't gochujang. Me and my GF went here late at night 10:00pm on a Saturday for a lil late night date. Great atmosphere with great music. They played red dirt/country, so that's up our ally. Our waiter (chase?) got me a few samples of sauces for the wings that I asked for. We got the wings! Yea obviously lol. Pleasantly surprised by Eddies. I guess I was under the assumption that it was a bar with food, which it is, but it's a good bar with great food. I had the fish and chips and a side salad and I'd give a 10/10. Hot food was hot and prepared & presented beautifully. The bacon wrapped shrimp app and the pickle juice wings could have made a meal but we shared with our group. They disappeared fairly quickly, they were just that good. Our friends had burgers and devoured them, saying they were perfectly cooked, juicy and delicious. The drink menu is creative and the pours generous. We had a young man waiter on a Thursday evening (didn't catch his name) and he was excellent. Offered great food selection and drink ideas. The issue with the place is that they make it clear that middle-aged men are the demographic, and they dont care about anything else. I remember their old location was near UCO and there were tactics used to steer international students away from the establishment (I assure you, not an unfounded claim). Now on to the food; wings are decent, but not the best in Oklahoma as they always claim. Everything else was just mediocre and bland. The staff really wants you to believe they are a Michelin star restaurant, as every 15 seconds you will hear them brag about how much of a genius cook Eddie is, or how they make their own ranch and how cutting edge adding a little seasoning into it is. The best way to enjoy this place is to just get the wings to go. That is if you even think they are good. Or, stay and dine in if you are looking for a restaurant with a narcissistic personality. read more

Best wings I've had in/around OKC, which says more about how lousy the wing scene is in OKC than anything else, but these were pretty good, and the first place that actually quenched my wing craving since moving here 9 months ago. Finallllly got to try Eddie's!!! They are in a new building which was very nice and had a good vibe! I have to say I have had wings from many different places but Eddie's by far has THE BEST WINGS EVER!!!!!! The outside is like perfectly crispy while the inside is juicy and delicious! I ordered a french dip with au jus and fries in a togo order. Who puts sweet and sour with a french dip for au jus. WHERE IS THE AU JUS??? I even asked the girl who took the order and she stated yes, we have au jus. Pathetic! The fries were awful, like soaked with grease, cold and soggy. This was awful!!!! I had a horrible run of trying Eddie's probably 4/5 times and not finding a single thing that I liked. At the time my rating would have probably been a 2 star solely on the good service but then I found a dish that I now would easily put in my top 5 favorite in Edmond. The Garlic Parmesan Bone-In Wings are my favorite thing on the menu and I find myself craving them weekly now. They explode with flavor and paired with their traditional fries which are also phenomenal, this meal is hard to beat IMO. Now what can be beat with a 2 week old moldy sandwich out of the garbage is the Chicken + 5 Cheese Ravioli and Tortellini. I mean honestly one of the worst meals I've ever had in my life. It came out and had little Alfredo so it was extremely dry and impossible to eat so I asked for extra Alfredo which helped make it edible but also did nothing to add to the flavor as the Alfredo sauce is as tasteless as liquid cardboard. For as much as I will sing the praises of the wings from the mountaintops, I will scream the insults of this dish from the depths of hell... The service has always been really good. Friendly servers that work really hard to be speedy and attentive. The restaurant is very popular and so they are usually very busy and so there are times where service might be a little slow but nothing excessive and it's to be expected with the restaurant being full. The only thing really that I can think of that the restaurant could improve on is noise/volume. The restaurant does seem to be quite loud and at times depending on where you are sitting it can be hard to hear people at your table and have a conversation. Now this also sometimes is not an issue depending on how busy the restaurant is and also where you might be sitting but I don't know what can be done about this but if there is something that can be done they should look into it because I've heard this complaint from quite a few people, and several of whom have stated it as a reason to not return. read more
