I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I made a reservation for a graduation celebration with 20 guests more than two weeks in advance and even provided my credit card information to secure the booking. Then, just two days before the event, the restaurant called to cancel our reservation. From the way the conversation went, it seemed they decided to accommodate a larger party instead. While the cancellation itself was incredibly frustrating, what was even worse was the complete lack of professionalism and courtesy from the staff member who called. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and no attempt to make things right. She simply stated that they could no longer seat us on Friday, offered to move the reservation to Saturday, and ended the call. I've honestly never experienced customer service this poor. Canceling a large reservation at the last minute is unacceptable, especially for an important event like a graduation celebration. We were left scrambling to find another restaurant with almost no notice. Thankfully, we were able to secure a reservation at The Terrace Restaurant & Lounge, where the service and overall experience were far superior. If you're planning a special event or large gathering, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Ordered grilled balsamic salmon and the soup of the day and salad added some hummus and pita as well. Great little Mediterranean place. I came here for a date night with my boyfriend and it was my first time ever trying hookah. I really loved that we were able to eat and enjoy hookah at the same time--it made for a fun and relaxed experience. The dining experience itself felt lovely and elevated, and the outdoor area is beautifully set up and thoughtfully arranged, which really added to the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and service was decent overall. The food was excellent. I ordered the chicken kabob with tabouli and hummus, and everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Definitely a highlight of the night. The hookah was also enjoyable and a great first experience. That said, I did have one major issue. I ordered a Pinot Grigio and after my first sip, I noticed the glass was dirty. At the bottom of the glass there was a hard flake of dirt or residue that started crumbling apart as I swirled the drink, which was pretty gross. I asked for a new glass and they did replace it, but it left me unimpressed with the sanitary conditions. The only thing we did not like was the food came out so slow for our party last year, my guests became cranky. UPDATE...to answer the owners question...we were all there by 8:20. So not sure why you would think waiting an hour for appetizers is normal. It's 11:02 we still haven't gotten our food. Everyone around us got their food but us! We got here at 8pm and the table was empty. No meza until 9:30. So far I am not impressed, appetizers aren't so good, some are VERY salty! Our waiter was very friendly and professional and explained the set menu for the night. She walked us through all the options and helped us decide what to order for our group of seven. We enjoyed delicious mezza and shared plates. I ordered an Almaza drink and it was nice and chilled. After we finished eating, our waiter let us know that a table had opened up outside and she could accommodate us. We moved outdoors and finished the night with hookah, a great live singer, and what eventually turned into a dance party. The vibes were really up-beat. It gets very lively at night, especially on weekends. Overall, we had a really great time. I have been here a few times back in 2015 and 2016, and I remember it being just as fun and energetic. We had reserved a big table 2 weeks before the event, paid the depoist, and were told we were good and a few days before the event we get a call saying the area we reserved in got fully booked. This place has the worst food. Hummus is like tahin soup, the pita bread is weeks old,, entertainment really sucks. They take old food, spice it up and present it to consumers who get diarrhea / food poisoning. The place is understaffed so you don't really get the service you pay for and at the end you have no choice as they automatically charge a service fee. They should have called us to let us know in advance. They ruined the surprise birthday. Very poor management. I visited Eden Garden on October 24th with high expectations, but I left disappointed. The restaurant was only half full, yet it took nearly 3 hours to receive our main course. When the food arrived, it was 11:00 pm. We were ready to leave. Who eats food at 11:00 pm. We were at the restaurant at 8:00 pm and people who came after us got served with main course. I politely mentioned it to our server, she said our food is coming. We asked her after 10 minutes she said the food is coming after 30 minutes. We decided to leave the restaurant. We had conversation with the restaurant manager. She didn't care. We spoke with the owner of the restaurant he didn't care either. They said they have set menu $75 for each person. We were two people. We told them we are going to pay for our sides only. They overcharged us for only sides and two drinks. They added 20% service charge. I was not going to pay service charge for bad service but they charged us anyways. Nor the manager or the owner offer anything for bad service. The only positive was the cozy atmosphere, but overall the poor service ruined the experience and my night. I hope the management addresses these issues. I will not go back to this place ever again. For now, I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Flawless service, great food, beautiful ambiance--and our guests left very happy. A special shoutout to Zeina and Mo. Zeina was our coordinator at the restaurant and was communicative, calm, and handled all our requests seamlessly. Mo and the rest of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to host again soon. Food: The filet mignon was excellent--easily the standout of the night. I haven't been here since 2019. We were invited to a birthday party Saturday evening. As usual the food was amazing so was the entertainment. A belly dancer show and awesome DJ. We danced for hours. I don't remember the last time I danced this much. The food was delicious. The appetizers and the hot foods tasted amazing. Service was great The only bad part of the evening was the smoke all over the place. So many people smoking cigars, cigarettes and hookah. I understand it's a hookah lounge too and smoke is expected but the smoke of the cigars just bothered me so much. It's not the venues problem cause it is a smoking permitted venue ... it's my problem and I shouldn't come here if I want to avoid all that. Overall a great place for celebrating special events. The guys and I went here as part of our monthly get together. One of them lives in the Glendale area and has come here frequently with his family, so this was a new experience for me and one of the others. I'm very impressed with all the different kind of hummus they had, and my chicken shawarma plate was really awesome. Everyone in our party enjoyed our food. The only qualms was a mixup on a drink refill near the end of our visit, but since we were already wrapping up for the night and getting ready to head out, The service itself is okay. instead of asking how our dinner was going, we had to flag down our server every time to ask for something. I used to love this restaurant and have celebrated many special occasions here over the years. While the interior has been beautifully renovated and looks more upscale, everything else took a serious downturn. From the food quality to the service and especially the pricing, everything felt off. The first thing I asked our waitress (What she has to explain beforehand in fully) was if there had been any price changes. She mentioned that every package had been increased by $5, which was reasonable. But I would appreciate it if she had ALSO mentioned their new pricing for customers who bring their own drinks. We've always brought our own drinks before and were charged $20 per bottle, which we were fine with. This time, Not only were we charged triple, but they also charged me for a bottle that had not even been opened. The reason for the high charge was the size of the liquor, a 1.75 L . (That's what she said) I politely brought this up to our server and mentioned that we were here last January and paid $20 per bottle (same size) back then. She insisted that the pricing had always been the same for so long, and basically implied I was wrong. The way she dismissed my experience made me feel disrespected and disappointed. Honestly, I don't think I'll be returning. If you're planning to visit, especially if you've been here before and expect things to be the same, I highly recommend checking the pricing and policies ahead of time. I love Eden Garden, their appetizers are delicious and they have entertainment on weekends. I love the singer Hratch Bogharian and the ambience he creates. People are like family, they know each other and they have regulars that go here every weekend. We celebrated my nieces birthday and they made sure she was happy, the servers were constantly checking on our table to make sure we weren't missing anything. We were there until midnight and the party was still going. The singer is very engaging and he brings a positive energy to the attendees. Stumbled into here after a party because I was super hungry still. Was not expecting what I found, but was pleasantly surprised. It seems they mostly take reservations, especially on nights with music or a belly dancer, but we got lucky. Eden has two very large dining rooms. The one in the front was actually empty/closed when I went, but I think that was on purpose. The 2nd room is a covered courtyard with little areas for performances and two levels. It's really lovely and makes you feel like you're in Greece or somewhere in the Mediterranean. We were seated immediately and given a table on the 2nd level in the courtyard room. There was a man singing with a keyboardist/recorded music playing behind him. He sang a lot of Arabic songs and possibly Armenian, but I'm not sure. Definitely recognized one from when I used to belly dance. He was a good singer, too! There were mostly large parties, so the service was a bit slow. Our main courses took almost 30 minutes to come out, which is why I took off one star. But we had the calamari as well as the vegetarian platter, and the chicken basil pesto pasta. I forgot to take a photo of the entrees because we ended up just taking them to go because it got super late and we were tired. But the food was really good! Very large portions and very good prices!
