They opened the doors for us an hour early and we were the only ones in there. Ordered a couple old fashions and a hot toddy all were great and quick. Ordered grilled balsamic salmon and the soup of the day and salad added some hummus and pita as well. Great little Mediterranean place. Thought the food would take a while since they hadn't even opened yet but it was out quick and hot. Salmon was delicious, the lentil soup was amazing our server suggested squeezing the lemon provided into the soup and she was right, epic! Big space lots of tables for larger groups and outdoor hooka area. Open for dinner only at the moment but said they are looking at adding brunch on the weekends. Just redecorated and ready for your next party!

I came here for a date night with my boyfriend and it was my first time ever trying hookah. I really loved that we were able to eat and enjoy hookah at the same time--it made for a fun and relaxed experience. The dining experience itself felt lovely and elevated, and the outdoor area is beautifully set up and thoughtfully arranged, which really added to the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and service was decent overall. The food was excellent. I ordered the chicken kabob with tabouli and hummus, and everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Definitely a highlight of the night. The hookah was also enjoyable and a great first experience. That said, I did have one major issue. I ordered a Pinot Grigio and after my first sip, I noticed the glass was dirty. At the bottom of the glass there was a hard flake of dirt or residue that started crumbling apart as I swirled the drink, which was pretty gross. I asked for a new glass and they did replace it, but it left me unimpressed with the sanitary conditions. Overall, I loved the food, enjoyed the hookah, and appreciated the beautiful ambiance, but cleanliness--especially with glassware--needs improvement.

Street Parking. Came here for Happy Hour and ordered some regular food. The service is great and the portions are huge. if you like Mediterranean food, this is the place. Had the lamb shank and it was really flavorful.

Always great food and ambience! We had the best time with friends and service was great. Thank you again for a wonderful time.

Food was okay. The cold appetizers like Mutabal (Baba Ganoush), Yogurt, Tabuli Salad and Grape leaves were good. For hot appetizer the falafel was amazing. As for the rest it was just okay, including the main course. Th rice was plain with no flavor, filet mignon and chicken overcooked. Service was great for as busy as it is!!! Without asking, server would always refill waters. Quick to come when called over, and servers do not rush you out. This culture is to allow you to enjoy your time and not quick turnover. Ambiance was super hyped!! Everyone dancing, singing. The place was loud, a bit too loud for a restaurant. The DJ and Belly Danvers were so fun and great to see! Sat night belly dancers did not come out until 11pm. RESERVATIONS A MUST

The 3 stars are for the service. I am trying out the 'Timeleft' app, and this is the location it sent us to. The Hummus sampler was pretty good and so were the Pita chips but the Lamb Shank smelled so 'gamey' I couldn't eat it. BTW I love Lamb and will eat it often, but this time NOPE! There is indoor seating, but they sat us outside under the covered patio which can get breezy even with the tarp and heaters out there. My drink was delicious, though!

Very nice place for a big work event. Last year we were 85 people and that was fantastic for the indoor banquet hall. Having the bar and dance floor right there was fantastic. The only thing we did not like was the food came out so slow for our party last year, my guests became cranky. So last year I give it a 4/5 This year we had a 60 person party and it was AMAZING. 5 out of 5 stars. I told the Arthur please have our appetizers and main course out by 7:30 and it was done! EXCELLENT. Everyone was soooo happy! We specifically requested Thiago, the best bartender and host for last year and this year. He was so helpful that night and so many of my guests said they wanted him for bartender because he's so good! The live music was a plus! All the entertainment has stepped up a notch this year. My guests were sooooo happy. Great place for a fancy event. Would recommend.

Went on a Saturday night during the holidays. It was very crowded and lively. We wanted to sit outdoors for hookah, but there was no availability outside at first, so we got an indoor table instead. Our waiter was very friendly and professional and explained the set menu for the night. She walked us through all the options and helped us decide what to order for our group of seven. We enjoyed delicious mezza and shared plates. I ordered an Almaza drink and it was nice and chilled. After we finished eating, our waiter let us know that a table had opened up outside and she could accommodate us. We moved outdoors and finished the night with hookah, a great live singer, and what eventually turned into a dance party. The vibes were really up-beat. It gets very lively at night, especially on weekends. Overall, we had a really great time. I have been here a few times back in 2015 and 2016, and I remember it being just as fun and energetic. And the food is truly delicious. Absolutely authentic, high-quality Lebanese food.

I was recommended to this restaurant for my 50th birthday celebration. The event coordinator was great, she was so helpful. The venue is warm and has a style, vibe and It was great, from the fresh food that everyone was talking about throughout the evening, the service, entertainment- live music, belly dancing and DJ dancing was perfect evening of celebration. I was very happy, success! Thank you!

Just proof that we still don't have our dinner.

We ended up at Magnolia House for a late lunch/early dinner. They also serve breakfast/brunch only on weekends. Walked in around 4:30pm and we were greeted by Brian, one of the managers. Brian was the standout star of the whole experience! His energy was exceptional and he is such a great conversationalist. He checked on us several times throughout our meal and made sure we were doing well. He on his own was HANDS DOWN a five star human being. At first, he wanted to seat us in the back corner but I told him the table was too small and he accommodated us with a bigger table. Our server Kiana came up to the table with a pleasant smile and greeting to take our drink orders. I got a glass of cranberry juice along with some water. My son got the American Dream cocktail along with some water. We skipped on dessert. From 4-6pm, they have a happy hour menu with some of their cocktails and shareable plates. The portions are just a bit smaller and the prices are a little lower. It's a good way to sample different items. I think we got a good variety of food to enjoy. To start, we got the Little Gem Salad. It was such a unique combination of flavors and SUPER delicate/light. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The next starter was the Zucchini and Feta Fritters, which was good but not the best out of everything else we ordered. The zucchini was a bit mushy but the batter it was fried in was crispy. Another starter we shared were the Moroccan Spiced Chicken Wings. These wings are gigantic and very flavorful. They definitely pack some heat, so be careful. I don't think the A/C was NOT working to begin with, so the place was already hot. The wings made us sweat even more. For entrées, we got the burger and the pork belly. Brian said they are known for their burger and after taking the first bite, it's clear as to why. It was absolutely PERFRCTION. So delicious! The bun, the meat, the cheese, the onions, and the crispy bacon...all of it mixed together into the perfect burger. I had wanted to add some mushrooms and avocado to it, but Kiana said they were unable to do it. I also asked for lettuce and she said that would be an extra charge. What extra charge for lettuce? We still got charged for avocado when the bill came, but they took it off once we mentioned it. The pork belly was also very tender, flavorful, and crispy. It's just hard to compete with the burger! We also got an order of the Belgian Fries to share and we were both pleasantly surprised at how good they were. The fries are salty and cut pretty thick. The sauce that came on the side was so yummy. We asked for a small extra cup to-go. All in all, the food was great and we liked everything. The vibe of the restaurant wasn't really all that for me. Brian genuinely made up for anything that was lacking in the atmosphere. He is such a wonderful asset to the restaurant and their company. The restaurant itself has been here for about 15 years now and it used to be a very old house. You can tell when you look around. They did a good job with the renovations, but you can see the different areas/rooms. I think they tried to keep the casual comfort of a home, while making it a slightly elevated experience. It was very clean everywhere, especially the bathrooms. They have one gender neutral bathroom, one for men, and one for women. No private parking, so you'll have to park on the street and put money in the kiosk. They also had an outdoor seating. Pretty BIG, only took picture of one side. They also have 2 small TVs. In the bar area and inside their cute lounge. I normally like to try new places, especially when I'm in Pasadena, so I'm not sure if I'll come back here. Maybe if Brian is working, it would definitely be worth stopping by again! Thank you all..

Service is really really slow. You may see 5 or 6 waiters on staff...but they aren't stopping at tables to check up on guests. It tastes like bland bar food now. $19 for 2 meatballs laying in tomato paste....and they were not even room temperature. Felt like they had these already prepared and sitting somewhere, just waiting for the next guest to order them. Got a mojito that may have been mistaken for a "virgin" drink....cause no one at our table could taste any alcohol in it. They all said it was watered down mint with ice. When we walked in, there was a tall, bald male bartender and a blonde female bartender working--neither of whom I've seen here before. We ordered two drinks, but the service from the male bartender was inattentive from the start. At one point, my friend tried to get someone's attention to ask for a lime and wasn't acknowledged. She ended up grabbing a lime herself from the garnish tray--which I understand isn't ideal--but the response we got was completely out of line. The male bartender became immediately hostile and started aggressively cursing at my friend. When I calmly asked the female bartender if this was normal behavior, he inserted himself into the conversation and said, "she put her fucking hand in the fucking jar," in a very confrontational tone. I tried to de-escalate the situation and respectfully explained that there was no reason to speak to us that way, but he continued the hostility and ultimately told us to "get the fuck out." At that point, I paid for our drinks and we left. What made this especially disappointing is that this has never been our experience here before. We've always enjoyed this bar and have had positive interactions with the regular staff. If this had been my first visit, I would not come back. I understand that what my friend did wasn't appropriate, but it absolutely did not justify being yelled at and cursed out. I hope management addresses this, because this kind of behavior is not reflective of the bar I've come to know.

Service Charges and Taxes will be added to the final tab... and any amount that exceeds the $60 credit worth of food/drinks (of course). Skewers are delicious, fries and taters are crispy, and the booze make me happy. I'm very glad they still serve Jinro over Good Day / Soon Hari (they taste funky compared to Jinro). They also have a cool beer tower where there is a separate chamber filled with ice to keep the beer cold without diluting it (melted ice). Rooms, restroom, and equipment continue to be clean and awesome quality. I just realized there are no minimums M-Th so I might go by myself after work even though it's only 2 hours of happy hour compared to the 4 hours on the weekends. They aren't cheap with their AC either unlike K-Republic when it was still open. This place is better than any place I know of in K-town and even the SGV. There were games on TV, but also people actively playing interactive games like Flip Cup and other group games, which made the whole atmosphere feel really social and engaging. Honestly, it felt like the kind of place that encourages real connection and community, something that's needed now more than ever. The space is large enough where you can comfortably have conversations while still feeling the lively atmosphere around you. The back patio is also a huge plus, especially in Pasadena where the weather is beautiful most of the year. Service was attentive, the food and drinks were both great, and overall it just felt like a welcoming community spot. Huge shoutout as well to the owner, Crystal, who was amazing and incredibly hospitable. You can really feel the care and intention behind the space. It's the kind of venue the community can absolutely count on for gatherings, events, or just a genuinely good night out.

She was condescending to others employees and had somewhat of an attitude towards us, which I now interpret as she actually was annoyed with her coworkers incompetence. The food was even worse than the service. The wings were so hard they were inedible. Water cups were disposable plastic. The sauces are prepackaged ketchup and ranch. The garlic fries are covered in what appears to be a premade garlic Parmesan wing sauce. The burger had no seasoning and the egg was overcooked. No run to the yolk. Drinks were cool. Would never come back.

We started with the artisan bread as an appetizer, and then the sweet potato fries. The bread and butter was really good. The sweet potato fries were a solid choice almost got Brussels sprouts may do that next time. I was really considering the Wagyu beef stroganoff as well. . A co-worker had the spicy pasta and loved it. We were there celebrating a special occasion, a retirement celebration. . I ordered the rainbow trout top 5 I have had in a really lon time. They brought out a card for her retirement, which surprised her, and they provided a dessert too. The food, the service, and the experience were all five star. If you want to go somewhere for a special meal or to celebrate, Granville is a great choice. I definitely plan to come back. I picked my meal from looking at the Yelp pictures, not the menu. I posted a few pictures as well. great vibe speakng If I lived closer I would come more often. I hope you enjoy my pictures.

It was nice to get out of the summer heat into an air conditioned restaurant. What we ordered: Drinks (included with $25 dineLA prix-fixe) - Berry lemonade - non-refillable - Craft soda (cream soda) - refillable Appetizers - Grilled mushrooms - Farmhouse beets Entrees - Poke bowl - Pasta alla Vodka Dessert (gelato) - vanilla fleur de sel - dark chocolate - cherry almond chip The berry lemonade was salty. I wasn't expecting a salty drink. I had to wash it down with iced water. My friend enjoyed her agave vanilla cream soda. She gladly accepted a refill. The grilled mushrooms were nicely seasoned. We enjoyed the variety: oyster and trumpet mushrooms. The farmhouse beets were served with arugula, feta, candied pecans, and a lemon vinaigrette. These were nice starters. I ordered the poke bowl. The portion size was perfect for lunch. It contained tuna, soba noodles at the base, small cubes of mango & avocado, toasted coconut, red onion, basil, and sesame seeds. The ingredients were fresh and beautifully presented. The pasta alla vodka was slightly spicy. It consisted of "mezze maniche" or large tubular pasta, pungent pecorino cream, tomato, garlic, and shallots. It was topped with grated Parmesan cheese. This was a heavier entree. Each of us had one scoop of gelato. It was a nice finish to a pleasant Friday afternoon.
