I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I made a reservation for a graduation celebration with 20 guests more than two weeks in advance and even provided my credit card information to secure the booking. Then, just two days before the event, the restaurant called to cancel our reservation. From the way the conversation went, it seemed they decided to accommodate a larger party instead. While the cancellation itself was incredibly frustrating, what was even worse was the complete lack of professionalism and courtesy from the staff member who called. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and no attempt to make things right. She simply stated that they could no longer seat us on Friday, offered to move the reservation to Saturday, and ended the call. I've honestly never experienced customer service this poor. Canceling a large reservation at the last minute is unacceptable, especially for an important event like a graduation celebration. We were left scrambling to find another restaurant with almost no notice. Thankfully, we were able to secure a reservation at The Terrace Restaurant & Lounge, where the service and overall experience were far superior. If you're planning a special event or large gathering, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. They opened the doors for us an hour early and we were the only ones in there. Ordered a couple old fashions and a hot toddy all were great and quick. Ordered grilled balsamic salmon and the soup of the day and salad added some hummus and pita as well. Great little Mediterranean place. Thought the food would take a while since they hadn't even opened yet but it was out quick and hot. Salmon was delicious, the lentil soup was amazing our server suggested squeezing the lemon provided into the soup and she was right, epic! Big space lots of tables for larger groups and outdoor hooka area. Open for dinner only at the moment but said they are looking at adding brunch on the weekends. I came here for a date night with my boyfriend and it was my first time ever trying hookah. I really loved that we were able to eat and enjoy hookah at the same time--it made for a fun and relaxed experience. The dining experience itself felt lovely and elevated, and the outdoor area is beautifully set up and thoughtfully arranged, which really added to the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and service was decent overall. The food was excellent. I ordered the chicken kabob with tabouli and hummus, and everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Definitely a highlight of the night. The hookah was also enjoyable and a great first experience. That said, I did have one major issue. I ordered a Pinot Grigio and after my first sip, I noticed the glass was dirty. At the bottom of the glass there was a hard flake of dirt or residue that started crumbling apart as I swirled the drink, which was pretty gross. I asked for a new glass and they did replace it, but it left me unimpressed with the sanitary conditions. Customer service was absolutely terrible. With 11 people the bill came to almost 1,300. This was expected but what we also expected was great customer service to come with it. They were clearly short staffed snd our server was so impatient and rude. Also if you order a cake or bring a cake , be expected to have to wait until after 11pm to receive it bc of the live band. I told them to cancel the cake because it was already 11:10pm. They said they couldn't and they told me about it being at 11. No, they did not. And even if they did it was already almost 11:20 at this point! Then I told them to charge it then and just bag it to go. That upset them too. They walked away aggressively. It was disappointing. If you're going to come here just know you have to be extremely patient with the pace of service. Response to Owner's reply : Thank you for taking the time to respond. You are correct that our party spent approximately four hours at your restaurant. However, within about 15 minutes of being seated, I asked our server if a birthday cake was available. She explained that you sold them by the slice or as a whole for around $44. I immediately agreed to purchase one if she had it available because we were celebrating a birthday. After that, I actually had to follow up because it was difficult to get our server's attention. I found myself repeatedly trying to make eye contact just to get an update on the cake status to see if a whole one was available. She asked me if I wanted cheesecake or chocolate. I said chocolate. Your response focuses heavily on the fact that our group spent approximately $1,255 and enjoyed four hours of entertainment. Respectfully, that was never my complaint. We expected the bill to be around that amount. Spending money was not the issue. The issue was the level of customer service we received. We were never told that birthday cakes would not be presented until after the live entertainment. Had we been told that when we ordered the cake, we could have made an informed decision. Instead, after waiting until nearly 11:20 p.m., I asked that the cake simply be boxed to go because it had become too late. I also noticed your response says the cake request caused "no inconvenience to our party." Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. Waiting over two hours for a cake that had been ordered shortly after we sat down, while having to repeatedly seek out our server for updates, was inconvenient. To be honest, I think your response reinforces my original review. Rather than acknowledging that our experience may have fallen short, it mainly explains why you believe we received good value. Good value and good customer service are not the same thing. My intention was never to hurt your business. I actually believe honest, constructive feedback helps businesses improve. I sincerely hope you use this experience to evaluate your customer service and communication because those are the reasons we left disappointed, not the bill. The 3 stars are for the service. I am trying out the 'Timeleft' app, and this is the location it sent us to. The Hummus sampler was pretty good and so were the Pita chips but the Lamb Shank smelled so 'gamey' I couldn't eat it. BTW I love Lamb and will eat it often, but this time NOPE! There is indoor seating, but they sat us outside under the covered patio which can get breezy even with the tarp and heaters out there. My drink was delicious, though! read more

Very nice place for a big work event. Last year we were 85 people and that was fantastic for the indoor banquet hall. Having the bar and dance floor right there was fantastic. The only thing we did not like was the food came out so slow for our party last year, my guests became cranky. So last year I give it a 4/5 This year we had a 60 person party and it was AMAZING. 5 out of 5 stars. I told the Arthur please have our appetizers and main course out by 7:30 and it was done! EXCELLENT. Everyone was soooo happy! We specifically requested Thiago, the best bartender and host for last year and this year. He was so helpful that night and so many of my guests said they wanted him for bartender because he's so good! The live music was a plus! All the entertainment has stepped up a notch this year. Went on a Saturday night during the holidays. It was very crowded and lively. We wanted to sit outdoors for hookah, but there was no availability outside at first, so we got an indoor table instead. Our waiter was very friendly and professional and explained the set menu for the night. She walked us through all the options and helped us decide what to order for our group of seven. We enjoyed delicious mezza and shared plates. I ordered an Almaza drink and it was nice and chilled. After we finished eating, our waiter let us know that a table had opened up outside and she could accommodate us. We moved outdoors and finished the night with hookah, a great live singer, and what eventually turned into a dance party. The vibes were really up-beat. It gets very lively at night, especially on weekends. Overall, we had a really great time. I have been here a few times back in 2015 and 2016, and I remember it being just as fun and energetic. UPDATE...to answer the owners question...we were all there by 8:20. So not sure why you would think waiting an hour for appetizers is normal. It's 11:02 we still haven't gotten our food. Everyone around us got their food but us! We got here at 8pm and the table was empty. No meza until 9:30. So far I am not impressed, appetizers aren't so good, some are VERY salty! They take old food, spice it up and present it to consumers who get diarrhea / food poisoning. I haven't been here since 2019. We were invited to a birthday party Saturday evening. As usual the food was amazing so was the entertainment. A belly dancer show and awesome DJ. We danced for hours. I don't remember the last time I danced this much. The food was delicious. The appetizers and the hot foods tasted amazing. Service was great The only bad part of the evening was the smoke all over the place. So many people smoking cigars, cigarettes and hookah. I understand it's a hookah lounge too and smoke is expected but the smoke of the cigars just bothered me so much. It's not the venues problem cause it is a smoking permitted venue ... it's my problem and I shouldn't come here if I want to avoid all that. Overall a great place for celebrating special events. I visited Eden Garden on October 24th with high expectations, but I left disappointed. The restaurant was only half full, yet it took nearly 3 hours to receive our main course. When the food arrived, it was 11:00 pm. We were ready to leave. Who eats food at 11:00 pm. We were at the restaurant at 8:00 pm and people who came after us got served with main course. I politely mentioned it to our server, she said our food is coming. We asked her after 10 minutes she said the food is coming after 30 minutes. We decided to leave the restaurant. We had conversation with the restaurant manager. She didn't care. We spoke with the owner of the restaurant he didn't care either. They said they have set menu $75 for each person. We were two people. We told them we are going to pay for our sides only. They overcharged us for only sides and two drinks. They added 20% service charge. I was not going to pay service charge for bad service but they charged us anyways. Nor the manager or the owner offer anything for bad service. The only positive was the cozy atmosphere, but overall the poor service ruined the experience and my night. I hope the management addresses these issues. I will not go back to this place ever again. For now, I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Wow! We planned our daughter's First Communion party here and it was the best decision! The food was absolutely delicious, all our guests commented on the quality and talked about returning to the restaurant on their own. The service was outstanding. From helping us to plan the party ahead of time to every single detail during the party was amazing. The guys and I went here as part of our monthly get together. One of them lives in the Glendale area and has come here frequently with his family, so this was a new experience for me and one of the others. I'm very impressed with all the different kind of hummus they had, and my chicken shawarma plate was really awesome. Everyone in our party enjoyed our food. The only qualms was a mixup on a drink refill near the end of our visit, but since we were already wrapping up for the night and getting ready to head out, The service itself is okay. instead of asking how our dinner was going, we had to flag down our server every time to ask for something. We had made reservations for a surprise birthday party for 8 people for a Thursday night at 9:30pm since they close at midnight. Once our party got there, they were told that they are closing because they don't have any customers, they had closed the kitchen and everything. we even got a confirmation at 9:30pm. They should have called us to let us know in advance. They ruined the surprise birthday. Very poor management. We recently hosted an event at Eden Garden to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday and it was a huge success. This was our second time hosting at the restaurant and once again, they did not disappoint. Flawless service, great food, beautiful ambiance--and our guests left very happy. A special shoutout to Zeina and Mo. Zeina was our coordinator at the restaurant and was communicative, calm, and handled all our requests seamlessly. Mo and the rest of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to host again soon. Food: The filet mignon was excellent--easily the standout of the night. One small note: we ordered the kanafeh for dessert, which was a bit disappointing. Next time, I'd probably choose a different dessert unless it improves. I used to love this restaurant and have celebrated many special occasions here over the years. While the interior has been beautifully renovated and looks more upscale, everything else took a serious downturn. From the food quality to the service and especially the pricing, everything felt off. The first thing I asked our waitress (What she has to explain beforehand in fully) was if there had been any price changes. She mentioned that every package had been increased by $5, which was reasonable. But I would appreciate it if she had ALSO mentioned their new pricing for customers who bring their own drinks. We've always brought our own drinks before and were charged $20 per bottle, which we were fine with. This time, Not only were we charged triple, but they also charged me for a bottle that had not even been opened. The reason for the high charge was the size of the liquor, a 1.75 L . (That's what she said) I politely brought this up to our server and mentioned that we were here last January and paid $20 per bottle (same size) back then. She insisted that the pricing had always been the same for so long, and basically implied I was wrong. The way she dismissed my experience made me feel disrespected and disappointed. Honestly, I don't think I'll be returning. If you're planning to visit, especially if you've been here before and expect things to be the same, I highly recommend checking the pricing and policies ahead of time. Service- The staff were very nice, BUT...we were the only couple sitting inside and I think they forgot about us because we had to keep flagging them down.
