Matcha Mia while the ambiance is cute has very over priced drinks. For the amount of food you get on the turkey sandwich i would say $13 is a good price but $13 for a banana matcha is insane. It was very yummy but not worth more than $8/$9. Another issue was the music in the store was incredibly loud and everyone was having to talk very loud to hear each other so it was just loud over all. Not very peaceful but at least the place is cute. The merch also seemed to be decently priced I didn't buy it but the cups were around $25/$28 for the cute tumbler so it seems fair. I've been to Matcha Mia twice and the drinks have been consistent both times! I most recently ordered the strawberry matcha and added a cold foam on top. The barista took their time and whisked the matcha perfectly so it didn't have that grainy, unpleasant taste. I was definitely able to appreciate the umami flavor and would definitely rate my drink a 10/10. The only critique I would say (which has nothing to do with the actual taste of the drink) has to do with the ergonomics of the straws. The straws are too short for the cups which creates a slight awkwardness when drinking and even a bit of a mess when trying to swirl/mix the drink. They do have their own separate parking lot, but I suggest going out the other way (not on Richmond) since part of the road is closed and Richmond can get very backed up. Not only was it super expensive for the quality that you get, the size is super small. The average price being $9-11.
