Spicy mezcalita, peach pounder and chips & queso.

Living so close to this place I'm disappointed I didn't go sooner. My boyfriend and I went for a lunch date and it was so good! No complaints on the interior, they had a bar and booths. We sat at a booth to people watch while we ate. I had the mango margarita and the peach pounder, he had the spicy mezcalita and the whiskey business. Divine! I was super glad we chose to walk there instead of drive since we were both a bit tipsy after those. The chips and queso was delicious we demolished it almost immediately. We ordered the three meat pizza, it was so good. It came with sausage, pepperoni and prosciutto... I've never had that combo before and I didn't even get a chance to snap a picture before we finished it. Super good. I didn't get our waitress name but she was super nice and checked on our table regularly. 10/10 would recommend. We will be back!

Have been hearing good things about this pizza for awhile and finally stopped in to try for myself. Highly recommend! Dive bar atmosphere with good service, and plenty of tvs.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT overlook this spot. The food is amazing! They have the same food as the next door spot LOT 46. The pizza cuts sandwiches are to die for. I think it is officially my favorite food in Denver. The crispy pizza dough as the bread for a sandwich is unbelievable!!

Good vibes (browns bar), pizza is delicious, and the ranch is by far the best in Denver. Excited to have found this spot so close to home!

The best place for a home made pizza with fresh veggies (tomatoes, mushrooms, meat) which was absolutely delicious and filling They have a great happy hour Monday-Fri from 12-5 pm with $5 & $10 deals. One the oldest and best place to eat.

Wow, what a total hidden gem. How have I lived a mile and 1/2 from this place and never been? Super old school cool decor and building. Reminded me of some of my favorite neighborhood bars back in Chicago. Delicious pizza. Super friendly and attentive service. Cozy and friendly vibes all around. And so affordable. Can't wait to go back!

The service here is really bad. I don't know how this place stays open. It used to be such a great place. Sad.

What a great spot!…read more The place was banging out pizzas and there were tons of customers doing pick up orders. We grabbed a table and sat in the dining area. You don't have an assigned server but there are tons of staff roaming around making sure everyone has what they need. We got the focaccia and meat balls along with the wings as an appetizer. The bread was great and the red sauce and meatballs were delicious. I'd get that again for sure. The wings were huge! I liked the hot honey but what they called "buffalo" sauce wasn't for me. Nothing like any buffalo sauce I've ever had before, but they said it's new so I'm sure they're experimenting. We also got the sausage ricotta pizza and the sauce and topping were great. The bottom wasn't as crispy as I like, so ask for well done if want to eat it without a knife/fork. Really great spot and will absolutely be back and recommend to friends

My experience at Pizzeria Leopold was a tale of two stories: great food and disappointing…read moreoperations. Let's start with the food because that's what will likely bring me back. I ordered the Sausage Ricky pizza and the Turkey Pesto sandwich with the focaccia bread upgrade. The focaccia was absolutely the right call. The sandwich was well balanced with quality ingredients, and the bread was easily the star of the meal. The Sausage Ricky was also better than expected. Between the slightly sweet sauce, purple onions, sausage, and ricotta, every ingredient had a purpose and the combination worked really well. At $24 for the pizza and $10 for the sandwich before the bread upgrade, I felt like the quality matched the price. Where things fell short was the pickup experience. I placed my order online at 3:26 PM with an estimated pickup time of 4:45 PM. A turnaround time of over an hour for a pizza and sandwich felt longer than expected. When I arrived around 4:50 PM, another customer was already waiting to pick up his order. He ended up waiting several minutes while staff tried to locate it. Despite several employees working behind the counter and the restaurant being only about half full, neither of us were acknowledged when we walked in. The lack of greeting or communication made the pickup process feel disorganized from the start. Eventually, the employee managing the register helped us, and to his credit, he was friendly and clearly doing his best to juggle multiple responsibilities. There was some confusion with my order at first, and I was initially presented with someone else's order and asked for payment until I showed my confirmation email. Overall, the food was good enough that I'm open to giving them another try. But the operational side of the experience didn't match the quality coming out of the kitchen.

I love this neighborhood gem…read more I have been coming here for years and this is my first recommendation for people new to the area. Everything is always delicious It can be a little loud, a little crowded, long line, but it's worth the wait and you don't have to wait long. I was sorry to hear that they recently had a fire. I hope they can remodel and open soon. It is a little suspicious that so many great local restaurants are experiencing fire and damage lately, I hope it's just random bad luck and nothing more nefarious.

The "Restaurant Kid" Litmus Test: Parisi Passes with Flying Colors…read more On my first day in Denver, a childhood friend took me to lunch at Parisi, though he was admittedly a bit apprehensive. Having grown up with Italian heritage on both sides and parents who owned an Italian restaurant, I am notoriously hard to please when it comes to authentic cuisine. He was worried I'd be overcritical; instead, I was completely charmed. Located in a quaint, quiet neighborhood, Parisi offers the kind of authenticity that is rare to find. Here is why it earned a perfect score from a tough critic: The Main Course: The Tagliatelle Ragu was balanced and traditional--exactly what you want from a high-caliber kitchen. The "Woodfire" Factor: The aroma of the woodfire pizza oven hits you the moment you walk in. While we opted to eat inside rather than on the lovely patio, those scents alone convinced me that I have to return specifically for the pizza next time. The Grand Finale: I had to finish the meal with my favorite, Stracciatella gelato. It was the perfect creamy, artisanal end to a fantastic lunch. The service was seamless, the ambiance was inviting, and the food spoke for itself. If you're looking for a spot that feels like a true slice of Italy in the middle of Denver, this is it. I'll definitely be back to tackle that pizza menu!

We were seated at the front by the window, which was nice. It did get a little hot in the restaurant as more people arrived, since it has been unusually warm in Denver this season. We split six plates and were stuffed by the time the celebratory dessert arrived. We started with the burrata, which paired well with apple butter and pickled apples. The arancini was a fusion of Indian spiced cauliflower with mint-cilantro yogurt raita. My favorite of the Spuntini dishes was the Granchio--jumbo lump crab served over a crispy potato cake with butternut squash and a perfect 63 ° egg. We split two Primi dishes: their special of the day pasta, and the Cappellini Aglio e Olio. The Cappellini was amazing--a perfect blend of Indian spices, breadcrumbs, and another 63 ° egg. Yum. Back in the 1950s & 60s it had a unique connection to organized crime & was known as a hub for mobsters. This is a lively place with a cool vibe playing music from the 50s, 60s & 70s. I especially enjoyed the Motown sound. Lots of windows, both booths & tables were comfy & cushioned. Jack was our server & he was very friendly & attentive. We arrived for Brunch on a Sunday afternoon & the place was busy. We had Cheese Bread with Marinara, Lasagna & Chicken Parmigiana. Our dishes were delicious! The bread was a meal in its self with a really tasty sauce. The lasagna was very good as well but the parmigiana was even better...crispy flavorful chicken. What tied all this together was the scrumptious red sauce used in everything we ate. It was awesome with a spicy kick. This was an amazing meal & I look forward to trying some of their dishes from the dinner menu like the Lobster Ravioli & the Chicken Marsala.

We started with the burrata based on Yelp reviews and they weren't wrong. Super fresh tasting, and the focaccia paired with it perfectly. It's an upcharge but worth it, and you aren't at a place like this to pinch pennies anyways. We both chose the rigatoni, we had a heavy lunch, and it was perfect. The sauce was deep and hearty and the pasta was exactly al dente. We split a strawberry guacamole sorbet and glad we did, it was larger than expected and absolutely delicious. Place has the feel of a modern restaurant, very sleek. My only complaint was that we were seated next to a room with a large group and it was hard to hear each other talk, but nothing to be done about that.
