I have been visiting this place numerous times for repairs and maintenance for a few years. Every time I have been there, Mr. Kim was nice, considerate and fair. His attitude towards customers is great and his price is always fair. There are no hidden fees, unnecessary repairs/services--just the repair and maintenance that was needed. Mr. Kim is upfront about what needs to be done, and gives you why it is needed and how much it will cost. I have no complaints for all he has done to my car. Oil change? Timely done and the car works like a charm. Break pad change? Also timely done and the car works like a charm. Break disk caliper change? Well, you get the idea. I recently stopped by to get an ugly dent on the "left eyebrow" of my 2004 Acura, and to get estimate for overall paint job. The owner took a quick look and brought out a contraption that looked like a large toilet plunger to quickly eliminate the eyebrow dent in 3 seconds, and then told me why I should not bother with the paint job, detailing the close-to-$2000-2500 job that would be. I actually knew that it wouldn't be worth it, but it was nonetheless great to hear it straight and fair from the pro. He did not charge me for the plunger job (lol) and told me to come back when I get a new car and need auto body work. What a great experience - I'll definitely check this place out later when I have a new car. Thanks MJ! P.S. Sustained minor damage to back bumper on a leased vehicle while backing out of a parking space. No big structural issue, but the plastic got cracked in a couple of places, so other body shops recommended replacing it, which would have cost $1,600 (taillight also needed to be replaced). Edgewater International was able to fix the plastic, which cut the cost to $1,100. Because they are larger, they have the machinery and capabilities that other smaller shops do not have. Very pleased with the final result (the damaged part fixed perfectly), but also appreciate the customer service. They called me when they discovered a small issue when they removed the bumper to notify me. A minor scratch unrelated to the bumper was also cleaned up at no cost and the car was cleaned, both outside and inside. They will quote you a fair price (same as other shops in the area) and deliver an honest and great service. I couldn't be happier with the result and will definitely go back for all auto needs. read more

MJ the owner, manager is a true old schooled gem! He fixed my non working lighter/electrical outlet in less than 10min from my impromptu arrival for an old Lexus SUV. He clearly has abundant large jobs but treated my car right away with a positive, friendly attitude for such a fair price!!! was it my dog, I wonder? MJ is the man! My car was making loud squealing noises every time I started the engine so I thought maybe my belts needed to be replaced. Did some research on Yelp for auto repair shops in my area, saw the great reviews for Edgewater International Autobody and drove over. MJ greeted me warmly and took a look under the hood immediately. He confirmed that all my belts needed to be replaced due to cracks and that the rust which has formed over the years needed to be removed. I asked how much it would cost and how long it would take. MJ quoted me a fair price and said he could have it fixed the same day by end of business. A few hours later, MJ called to let me know the repairs were done and that I could come pick up my car, as promised. Car starts without a squeal now! I saw nothing but good reviews on Yelp so I decided I'd give them a chance since I don't know any body shops in the area. I went to one other place to get an estimate on the minor damage my bumper had and the other place was 3 times more expensive. When I called to make the appointment to stop by for an estimate the woman who answered the phone (I believe the owners wife) was very helpful. When I arrived I didn't have to wait, as MJ knew I was coming and was available to help me. He was thorough and the best news was that it wasn't even going to be so involved to repair. Quite the opposite of what I was told at the other place. I was satisfied with the cost I was quoted and within 2 days of dropping it off, I had my car back. MJ did a great job and you can't even tell there was any work done. I will definitely be going back with any care issues in the future. read more

This company has two sides, auto body and automotive mechanics. My review is for the automotive mechanics. Stay away!!! They quote one price, that is far more affordable than the other local automotive shops, then after you give a deposit and authorize the work, they add costs to make it higher than their competitors. Very bad business practices. A clear indication is that the automotive side is always empty but the auto body has some customers cars. read more

Just got some work done here. Saw the 5 star yelp reviews as it was right next to my car wash. MJ actually walked over to help someone else who wanted body work, and I just asked for a rough estimate on my rear bumper afterwards. VERY friendly! Any time I would stop by, he would always stop what he's doing to take care of me. Payment was done through the insurance company of the person who hit me, but the prices he told me were less than what I was expecting since the last time I had a rear bumper replaced. When I picked up the car, it actually looked much cleaner than the work I had done last time. Can't put my finger on it since both were done very well. If I ever need body work, I now know where to go for quality and price. read more
