Wow, now that's disappointing. These were so ugly and clumsily put together. Obviously no time or care went into making this order. The cookies are so oddly shaped. The icing is not even covering the top of the cookie, and although I appreciate the large strawberries they were probably a little big for this order. In the process of getting a surprise birthday edible arrangement sent to my friend, my friend was unable to be reached. Edible arrangements was able to reschedule the delivery for the day he came back from his trip. When he came back from his trip, he still was not able to respond. Edible arrangements was very persistent and patient in trying to get it delivered. They were very communicative with me in trying to help me out and eventually have it delivered back to the store for me to pick up. Their genuine concern and care for making sure the arrangement made it to whichever destination with quality and care made this a great experience. My husband ordered these 'flowers' and strawberries covered with chocolate bouquet. Very disappointed by the dead flowers. It looks that they picked from the side road and the sunflowers came as well like this. We put them inside the vase and near sunlight. Nothing happened. They are dry, small, and dead! You can get from a grocery store for 10$ much much better. My husband spent $$ to be just disappointed especially because it was a special occasion! But what I like even more is that I can walk in and get a yummy fruit salad at a great price. They keep them stocked in the little fridge in the store - or if they don't have any, they will make you a fresh one lickety split! Now yes, it's true, I SHOULD buy my own fruit and cut it into tiny pieces - but why when Edible Arrangements can do it for me? Not to mention, their fruit is always so fresh and sweet and yummy! She lives less than a mile away from this store, but it wouldn't be a very great surprise if I made her go get the arrangement herself. So I called the store to ask about options, ie if the destination is a little less than a mile from the storefront, can the delivery price be adjusted so that it's not $15 (80% of the gift price). Idk if Nikola on the phone was just having a bad day, or if that's her general phone etiquette, but I was no closer to understanding my options than the man on the moon. It was like having a conversation with myself and having someone go "yeah" or "Nah" after each sentence. I showed up a little before 12 noon and the store was closed!!! I was furious, i called corporate and all he said was i can't get a hold of the owner, it keeps going to voicemail. Now, instead of offering a solution he said all i can do is get you a refund. I said no, i will drive across town to Schererville to pick it up there, he said you are going to have to pay for it there and get the refund from the first store, i said that was unacceptable, he said thats all i can do. Miscommunication happened on both ends but to refuse to fix it - After you stated that you have been having driver issues and the driver NEVER took a pic to confirm delivery to my recipient -was the Utmost level of BAD customer service. I stated in my notes "that I was unsure if she was there so please confirm before delivery". Your GM obviously didn't do that, or this could have been avoided. Telling me I should have confirmed it after I found out it was never delivered doesn't take any accountability. Very rude and unprofessional behavior. Walked in for a small arrangement for a friend recovering from surgery. Walked out 20 minutes later with a simple small arrangement and was able to hand deliver it to my friend within 15 minutes! No one can beat that service! The fruit was fresh, attractively arranged, properly packaged for carry out, and arrived still looking great. Pricey, but worth it. I really want to like Edible Arrangements. I think what they're doing, offering a healthy(er) alternative to the sweets and treats people give during birthdays and holidays, is an admirable way of getting our society into thinking critically about what they put into their bodies. I just wish there was a little transparency on where their fruit comes from. I came to this location for one of their prepared bouquets before stopping by my mother's. I asked the fruitist (florist + fruit= ?) if their arrangements were organic. I had my mom's gift (a pair of TOMS) tucked under my arm and texting my Sis to see if she was there yet, but the girl behind the counter kept buying time and looking through leaflets by the register. Did she know if they were non-gmo. Again, "Uh, hmmm... Let... me... see..." A pounding headache kept blacking out the vision in my right eye. I sighed. Is the fruit treated with pesticides? Does the chocolate contain soy? Really, this should not feel like pulling teeth. The cashier kept pretending to look for an answer before giving up and shrugging that she didn't know. I was late already, so I just purchased the Blooming Daisies bouquet and decided to wash the fruit by my mother's. Except when I told her what happened she waved her cigarette in my face and said it was fine. She set the bouquet on the dining room table and my dad's friends from work tore it apart, their paint flecked hands tearing fruit off the wooden spears. To Edible's credit, everyone devoured the bouquet, but I wish they supplied more chocolate covered strawberries. I could only snag two for my mom because everyone had taken some. I brought them out to her while she sat with friends on lawn chairs in the front yard, a radio between them playing the same light FM station they listened to at their job. She didn't say anything, just blindly picked up a strawberry, bit into it, and put it back on the plate. They all had red plastic cups filled with sangria she bought at Sam's. Marla asked how my job at the pet store was. I told her I was a vet technician. Ma said I played with puppies all day. They all laughed and she picked up the strawberry again. Must have been good. What a horrible experience. For Valentines day my boyfriend decided to surprise me with a beautiful edible arrangement. This was my first time receiving one and I was so happy he was more creative than buying me a bouquet of flowers. However, he mentioned his disappointment that there were no white chocolate covered strawberries as he requested. He knows I do not like dark chocolate and that's all I got. I did not express my dismay because I was enthralled with the gesture, but the next day he called the woman who did the arrangement to let her know his request was not fulfilled. Instead of apologizing for making a mistake, the woman proceeded to argue and blame my boyfriend for not putting it on the online order. The lady failed to acknowledge that he went into the store in person to request white chocolate and was assured it would be taken care of. WRONG. Not only was it not to his liking, but the lady had the audacity to yell at him!? I had placed my order on Wednesday to be delivered the next day. I call the shop Thursday at noon to check the status of the delivery. They had assured me that the order was out for delivery and would be delivered within the hour. I also explained that the recipient would be leaving work at 3pm and they again assured me that it would be there way before 3pm. So 3pm rolls around and I call the shop back to check on the status again. This time they tell me that my order was still at the shop but would be delivered within the hour. After expressing my disappointment, the owner could only say that he was sorry and they were very busy, but I was free to stop in for a $10 gift card.
